The house is fabulous. The home is well appointed, has great amenities, lots of kitchen wares and serving pieces! The beds are comfortable, the furniture is lovely and comfortable, and is truly a place you can call home while on the island. We loved Whidbey Island and this house made it easy to explore the whole island, stay close in Coupeville or Oak Harbor, or just stay home and enjoy the view and amenities. Great and responsive host! The view is spectacular!!!

The Totem House checks all the boxes for someone looking for a modern updated 2 bedroom place with comfy patios and close and easy beach access, Not many houses have beach access in this part of Whidbey which makes this place very private for beach walking, playing (sand!). The patios are comfortable and umbrella shady, even better than photos. Our kids loved the house, couches, chairs, table plus TV nook were perfect for our crew to spread out. Beds were comfortable. Nice garage access was a bonus. If this place is in your budget, go for it!

Beautiful house, beach & views

We enjoyed every minute! Inside: the house was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Outside: I can’t say enough about the views, access to the beach, wildlife viewing and excellent spaces to sit, enjoy coffee/drinks, Fire pit etc. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful and relaxing.

Here for a combination weaving workshop/vacation. Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the area. Everything required for a relaxing stay was provided. Comfy bed, beautiful views, wildlife and beach. Could't ask for more.

Epic deck views

Our family felt at home and well cared for the moment we walked in the front door. The kitchen has every tool and dish you may endeavor to require And the views… we were continuously present on the deck for the entire visit. We will miss the ever changing scenery Thank you!

Great house! Great location.! The house was well stocked and ready to go. The outdoor living spaces, yard and access to the beach were amazing. The posted pictures were correct. However, the description listed a gym which was non-existent. Nor did it mention that the house's water was high in mineral content which showed up when you washed your white clothes. Filtered water is provided for drinking. Be advised that cell phone coverage (Verizon for us) was basically non-existent on this part of Whidbey Island. Make sure that your cell phone can make and receive calls via wifi.

I sincerely apologize about the gym in the description, I have never added that to the listing and will contact VRBO to make sure something was not automatically or by accidentaly added in the listing because it does not show up on my end. I would never misrepresent to a guest. I apologize for the cell reception issue - that is unfortunately an issue for the island overall. To help with that, we have a strong wifi connection which helps with that. It was an absolutely pleasure to host you and hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Amazing…again!

My husband and I were thrilled to stay at this beautiful home for a second time. We spent three glorious days enjoying the beautiful views and watching Bald Eagles soar by. The house is so welcoming, well appointed, and lovingly cared for. We look forward to returning in the future.

Glorious View!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this incredible property. The house is well appointed, immaculate, and beautifully furnished. However, we spent almost all of our time outdoors mesmerized by the stunning 180 degree view and the abundance of wildlife. We look forward to returning one day!

Beyond Perfect

Pictures simply do not do this place justice. The house is spacious and beautiful, and the yard is peaceful and tranquil. We had the most amazing sunsets every night. Easily the best experience I've had with a vacation rental so far.

Great stay!

Lovely property with an amazing location. Our toddler loved it. Lot's of open space for her to explore. Strongly recommend this property. It is clean, peaceful and spacious.

Beachfront Modern Oasis

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in this beautifully decorated, well-stocked home. The outdoor landscaping and private sitting areas made for the perfect place to take in the view and watch the sunset, along with plenty of wildlife sightings. The owner was very accommodating and gracious making sure that we all had a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to go back!

A great place to stay. More than once.

We have stayed in homes in other states and other countries and without hesitation Amela is the most responsive and helpful host we have experienced. This is important to us, and we have cancelled reservations because the host was unresponsive, or unhelpful. As for the house, we have found that in some cases the pictures we have seen on the website oversell the reality. However, as nice as the pictures are of this home, the reality is even better. From the moment we walked through the door we were relaxed and discovered more small touches to meet our needs and enhance our comfort than could have been anticipated.
