Welcome to Cliffside Cottage!!! We have Spectacular Sunsets and Amazing Views! Relax on the deck with a little umbrella drink or enjoy the elevated hot tub. Feel the stress fade away as you let the beauty take you away. Incredible water and mountain views. We enjoy lovely wildlife such as Soaring Eagles, Gray Whales and more! PLEASE NOTE: If you are having an event such as a Wedding, Birthday, or Family gathering please send me an inquiry through the option "ask the owner a question" first.

To use the hot tub lifter. Unhook straps lift cover in half then from center of the hot tub grab handle in the middle of the cover and pull it back.

This was the perfect base for our family to explore Whidbey. The house was a great setup for our dog, with fenced yards in front and back. Dave made sure we had everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable and well-supplied. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful property

The bedrooms were both bigger than they looked online. The entire house was very well kept it was nice having all the board games and all the various kitchen implements. The view was absolutely breathtaking.

Sister weekend made better here

Best vacation rental we have stayed in

This is the third time we have stayed here, this time for the month of June. We have never had an issue with anything but I am convinced if we did Dave would take care of it immediately. Hope to stay again next year.

Amazing view!!

The place is exactly as described on VRBO. Super happy that the backyard and front yard were fenced for the !Since I was coming just for 3 nights, I really appreciated that the fridge had basic condiments and that coffee pods were given. No need to rush to the grocery store as soon as you arrive for your morning coffee.

Excellent home away from home

We had a fabulous visit filled with my daughter’s birthday celebration, Easter morning, enjoying the tulip fields, beach combing, exploring near Deception Pass and shopping around the local small towns. The bald eagles and military air activity made for special viewing as well. Highly recommend!

lovely place to land

We were here for my son's arrival from Naval deployment. It was hectic and things kept changing, but we very much enjoyed the oasis of this home.

A gorgeous view!

The view from this cliffside house is stunning!Our dogs (and we) especially appreciated the fully fenced yard so they could run and play safely, and the outdoor fire pit and ample firewood was an unexpected bonus.Dave is a great host and is very responsive and communicative. We would certainly return.

Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway ! The house was just right for our group of 4 adults. The hot tub was definitely a highlight of the property. The little soap, shampoo amd conditioners in the bathroom were an added bonus. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful views and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed was really comfortable, house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen with spices, etc. We explored the island from top to bottom and found the location to be really convenient. Our pup thoroughly enjoyed the fenced yard and playing fetch with such a beautiful view! Overall an A+ stay!

Great views and accommodations

Great location with amazing views. The house is well stocked with everything you need and the master bed is very comfortable. Fully fenced yard was perfect for our small dog. Incredible sunsets.

Work trip on whidbey

Great property for a work trip. View was outstanding and communication with owner was good. Highlight was the hot tub while enjoying the sunset! My only thing was I couldn’t make phone calls from the house. Might have been my carrier though

Incredible Cliffside Stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is incredibly nice and spacious and the views from the backyard are top tier. The amenities were great except I’d prefer to have an extra set of bath towels (they only provided o e each for my wife and I’s two night stay), but thats a minor thing. Absolutely would come back here and stay in a heartbeat!

When I came up for shore duty while in VQ-1, my first squadron in the Navy. I had a choice between China lake and Whidbey Island. Well I didn't want to live in the desert...
After a short time I fell in love with the North West. I am from Colorado and love the Mountains. After my time in the Navy I love the water and this is the best of both worlds!

We are very lucky to be able to enjoy this wonderful high bank water front home. From using the hot tub while enjoying the wonderful views to the relaxing home and spaces this is a fantastic get away.
The scenery is incredible with the beautiful Puget Sound Water View and the Olympic Mountains right out our back door. We have several sets of Eagles that live close by and its very neat to be standing at the fence looking down as they fly along the bluff 236 feet above the water. From time to time we see Gray Whales playing below in the water. Its pretty spectacular!
