excellent location for us

we enjoyed the area very much, everything was clean, and in good working order. Lovely view of the river from the balcony, very relaxing. we would definitely stay here again with no problem!

Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful time at this place. It was immaculately clean, had plenty of space and was very tastefully decorated. We loved being so close to the stream and there were even binoculars which we could use to look out at the birds. The place was quite private with 2 separate porches looking out over the stream. We would definitely recommend it and are looking forward to returning.

Peaceful Stay

This condo is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and it’s an easy place to relax. The river view from the balconies is especially nice. We also like that it’s a short walk to the grocery store and to Peaceful Side Social, a fun and yummy eatery! It’s in a quiet area and we felt safe. Don’t hesitate to book :)

Great Place

This was located right where we needed to be. Close to what we wanted to do and very quiet. Great place for a weekend or weeks getaway. Will definitely not mind staying here again when we come to the area.

Beautiful Condo in Perfect Location

Spacious and well-equipped, this lovely condo on the river wa perfect for our late fall get-away. Close to the Smokys,we enjoyed the Sugarlands area, the hike to the Chimney Tops and the small town of Townsend. Thank you for such perfect accommodations.

Lovely by the River

It was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The sound of the river was wonderful to go to sleep with. Neighbors very quiet - highly recommended.

Ladies Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and well stocked with items. It was also very comfortable. We felt safe and the river was beautiful and right outside the back door. We will plan another trip to this property in the future

John is the most thoughtful

We had a wonderful time in Townsend. We had a wonderful time at this condominium, listening to the babbling stream beside it. Everything that was dated for comfortable stay was there and John was a very attentive coast. If you’re looking for something special in town and I would suggest this.

Building looks are deceiving. The accommodations are outstanding!!! Loved the multiple porches. River view. Quick entrance to Great Smoky National park.

What a great place!

First off, thank you for letting us enjoy your home. My wife and I absolutely loved your property. The condo was amazing. It was very cozy and inviting, and the views out the front and back are great! We had such a good time riding the mountains. The location of the property was perfect. Peaceful Side is Right!

We introduced a family member to the Smokies and so glad we chose to stay in Townsend! She loved visiting us at the condo and the location was perfect. The condo was as advertised, nicely appointed and clean. We love the cabin look! The stairs weren't bad but I wouldn't want to do them all the time. Host was excellent.

Good place to stay

Was an awesome place but I was disappointed that the website did not mention the fact that the bedrooms were upstairs which made it a little rough on two 76 year olds. We did make it but had we seen that on the description we would not have booked it. We really liked the location in Townsend and hope to go back soon. We loved the quietness of its location. Would go back but would only go with a ground level apartment.

Downs summer vacation 2024

The condo was perfect for our family. Two teenagers, an eight year old and my husband and me. The location was close to convenience store and restaurants as well as local attractions. The creek was easily accessible for the kids and the area well maintained. We had rabbits, ducks, squirrels, and a variety of birds on the grounds. The Cades Cove loop was full of wildlife and nature and history that we enjoy!!! The condo was clean and very well stocked with anything we needed and we were close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without being forced to stay in the crowds unless we chose. Townsend is a perfect location to act as bade for a Smokey Mountain vacation!!! Will definitely stay here again!

Quick getaway

It’s our 10 yr anniversary and we were going to celebrate another way, but our girls asked to go to the mountains. I found this cute condo in Townsend, Tn. It’s right on the river, close to restaurants, stores and gas and a nice drive through Great Smokey Mountain national Park to Gatlinburg. The space is cute & cozy, had everything we needed. Rental process, check-in/check-out was easy and the property owner communicated in a timely manor. We would stay here and recommend to anyone to stay as well. 🎄🎄🎄

Grandparents dream trip!

We stayed in your lovely condo with our three grandchildren ages 9,7 & 5. This was absolutely my Granny dream come true. We spent many days in the creek and on the bank roasting hotdogs and marshmellows. We saw racoons, merganzers, river otter, geese, squirrels and numerous birds (and a couple water snakes...harmless) The condo fit our needs perfectly and the second and third floor balconies made us feel like we were in a tree house. Breakfast, pizza, storytime and on a rainy day painting and coloring all on the balcony. All three of my grandchildren wanted to know why we can't just live there all the time! Thank you for sharing your home. Such a quiet and beautiful spot!

Description Was Not Correct

Didn’t get to check in. As we were pulling in got a message telling us no TV or internet. In description stated both. We had to find somewhere else to stay for 4 days. When a property is listed should be as shows.

Tennessee White Christmas

We were the first guest for this property and we had a great stay! The address was not correct on our GPS but the owner was VERY helpful and sent us correct map and we went straight to the property. It’s the little things that mean the most and the little touches of love on this condo made it feel like home. Everything was so clean and the neighborhood was great. The views were amazing (even had an eagle right out our balcony). All the craziness/traffic of pigeon forge we’re just over the mountain which was refreshing to go over to and visit then come back to the quiet side of the mountains in Townsend! We did get caught in a winter storm and was unable to get back to our condo the second night but the owner was in contact and assured us our stuff was safe and we hunkered down in safe motel off the side of road bc mountain was impassable 🥶 we got back safely Christmas morning and relaxed and played board games with our 3 teenagers with the creek rolling and snowy views! Best Christmas Ever! Can’t wait to stay again ☺️ Thank you John and family for a great place to spend the holidays with our kids😉

We know where the best restaurants are, and we know all the shortcuts! There are tons of things to do here, white water rafting, tubing, swimming, fishing, snow skiing, hiking, antiquing, just driving around in the Smoky something for everyone.
