The cabin is nice and well kept in a secluded quiet area. We enjoyed our stay there and would rent it again .

Great family stay!

We absolutely loved this cabin, very cozy and in a great location for the price. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to be near Deep Creek but a bit out of the craziness.

Super great place to stay really close to the lake in the summer if you are using a marina. My only complaint would be that due to this being a large property management company some of the instructions for check in/out are not specific to the exact property you are at and some is left to interpretation. But instructions were otherwise very thorough and easy to find via email and at the property!

Pretty clean and nice-sized house and yard with a nice hot tub. The house is very dated and could use some renovations especially in the bathrooms (dated bathtubs, chipped toilet seats) and bedrooms in the walkout basement plus a few missing screens in windows and poor sliding screen door to the deck. No central air conditioning (one window unit in main bedroom, but shady yard, fans and windows kept it fairly cool. Property management company is big in the area, and they were responsive to our maintenance issue (fridge water line leaked).

Family vacay

It was a great choll time with my 4 kids and dog. House was perfect, close to everything and perfect for pets. Would come back again.

Perfectly sized cabin for a family of four traveling with pets! The cabin was clean, all bedding and towels were clean, and all appliances were in working order. The hot tub was cleaned just prior to our arrival which we really appreciated. The basement has fun entertainment of darts and a pool table.The cabin is set away from busy roads, so it is very easy to disconnect and relax.Overall, we had a great stay and would have loved to have stayed longer!

Great place!

We came down for a spring break family getaway, my husband and I, 2 kids and dog. Everything was so nice! Very homey feel. There are other cabins around but you can barely hear anyone. The hot tub was perfect for the 4 of us, loved having the wood stove lit on the chilly evening (Plenty of firewood) Short drive to restaurants, grocery, lake.

Woodside retreat

Our overall experience was good, the only problems we had no stove, the Kerrigan wouldn't work, and there was a family of mice under the hot tub that scared the life outta my wife. Other than that we enjoyed the property, especially the location, and my kids loved the pool table, and the fact we could bring our extended family (our animals ❤)

The property was in a good location. It felt secluded, but we were still only a short drive to the lake. The property could use a deep cleaning. There is no dishwasher even though it’s listed as one of the amenities and we found dishes that weren’t clean. Didn’t matter much to us as we didn’t plan cooking. The property smells terrible of mildew. I’m hearing that could be normal for cabin style homes, but the smell is still lingering on our clothes even after washing them at home. The sofas need deep cleaned. The throw pillows need washed. I expected more for the price we paid. I wouldn’t stay again simply due to the mildew smell, but it did suit our needs and it’s a lovely home.

Nice House But Has Some Issues

We stayed at this house late July 2023. Although the house was clean and well stocked, there was a musty smell on the lower level where two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms is located. This could be due to the leaky hot water heater. The house is nicely decorated. The kitchen was clean and equipped with all necessary items except a dishwasher. One major problem was bugs. There were big black ants on both levels and multiple bugs and moths in the bathtubs. Another problem was the bed in one of the lower level bedrooms. It was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The outdoor trash can was partially full from the previous guests so we had difficulty fitting ours in there. Other than those issues, it was nicely decorated and in a convenient location.

Wonderful Woodside Retreat!

Very quaint get-away in the woods yet close to civilization. Very close to grocery stores, gas station, gift shops, etc. The home is comfortable, warm and charming. Decorated adorably. Loved sitting on the back deck with morning coffee, listening to the birds and watching the deer play! Definitely recommend!

Misleading

Property was listed to have air conditioning. It does not. Pool table didn’t have enough balls.
