Rustic Cabin with dock on Cedar Lake. Very relaxing and met expectations for a short vacation with 2 granddaughters, their parents and uncle. Slight communication issue, none the less an enjoyable stay.

We so enjoyed this place. It was very peaceful by the lake and the screened in porch was wonderful. Loved the decor, felt like we stepped back in time. The place had a very peaceful vibe!

It's a cute little house on the lake. It isn't very private but very cozy. The hot tub and grill mentioned in the listing are not there, which was very disappointing.

Wonderful lake home in a small town

Property was well kept with Great Lake access. Loved the charm of the rustic lodge feel. Owner was helpful and had property ready to use. Great time for our family!

A relaxing cabin on the lake

Quiet, clean, relaxing. This was a wonderful little cabin right on the lake. What a cute property with a wonderful screened in porch- which made coffee in the morning our favorite part!

Serene space

VERY clean space, beautiful scenery, quiet, nice owner who communicates ahead of time to make sure you have everything you need before your trip. Great getaway.

Weekend away

This was a great stay. We will likely book again. It had everything we needed. We just took the mattresses off the kids bunk bed and put them on the floor to sleep 6 adults. Very relaxing at the cottage.

Lake and county fair vacation

We had a wonderful trip. Spent time at the county fair, then enjoyed the lake. The owner was friendly and generous, and our kids had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for what we needed. Bunk beds for the kids we perfect. Lovely place!

This was a basic, clean rental. Served the purpose. Nostalgic. Nice there was a dock on the property & ramp just down the road. Nice neighborhood, low traffic.

Vintage with a view

The space is exactly as the pictures show and is described. While the furniture could have been more comfortable, the home served it’s purpose and we loved the enclosed porch overlooking the lake. John was very pleasant and welcomed us as we were settling in to make sure we didn’t have any questions.

Three of us girl friends gathered here to work on a project, and this was the perfect setting. We spent our waking hours in the wonderful screened-in space with the lake view. The pictures are accurate - it is a dated but cared for lake cabin. We loved the very vintage vibe as the furniture, decorations, decorative towels and even the toaster felt just like Grandma's house. (All that was missing was the smell of her home-baked cookies.) We didn't really sit in the living room at all, but the tv trays were nice to have in the screen room. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets in the closet. The third bedroom is a small little bunk room for kids, but the shortest of the three of us claimed that one. The kitchen had all that we needed for our meals there. We joked that we didn't want to give this little house too high of praise as we don't want it to book up so much that we can't return! But seriously, this is a nice, clean, little time capsule at a great price in a fantastic location.

Charming cabin with a beautiful view!

What a cute little spot. We enjoyed our stay while in the area for a hot August weekend. The house is just as described. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The bunk room is tiny and the beds are too. Incredibly my 12 year old fit on one and make it work. It would be better just to have a twin bed in that room.

Anniversary celebration week overview

The house was charming and beautiful view overlooking lake which included screened porch. Very clean. John was very accommodating. Holiday weekend was really busy on water with jet skis and boats, but disappointing when your goal was to fish. There are some things that I would recommend to be more comfortable is a new couch and mattress for master bed. Great for theme but not comfortable. tv cable did not work. Overall we did enjoy our stay watching the sunsets and a little fishing the last day.
