Beachfront retreat

Loved the property. The sound of the ocean and the beautiful beach from the porch with my coffee every morning was awesome. The services on the beach also well staffed. Our 4 chairs and umbrellas were setup for us all week. We could walk the restaurant down the beach and we’re close to the pier and to the freedom boat club for our fishing boat rental. Loved this property.

Rainy week

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrive for an early check in which I thought was noon but was informed it was one. The young lady who greeted us did it with an attitude. This is a very comfortable unit but the exhaust fan in master sounds like a jet engine. The water in the shower takes a long time to get hot. Very comfortable furniture inside and out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Destin for 10 years. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins, birds and people go by. The pool is nice, nice gym and close to so many places plus walking distance to The Back Porch via the beach or the street and who doesn’t like handmade candy at the Candymaker store plus great little gifts. Check out their special offers by signing up for their newsletter. We love it there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual, the unit itself was very nice. However, whoever did the cleaning neglected to vacuum the carpets or check for things left behind. There were underwear in the guest BR chest, used coffee filter in the coffee maker. There was also a black grease spot on the kitchen counter. We WOULD rent the unit again.

Another Amazing Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year in a row we stayed at Gulfgate. 10/10 for cleanliness, staff assistance, and a safe environment. From the front desk to the kind gentleman at beach service, hands down a great experience! The only “area of opportunity” would be that I requested the garage lights be turned on a little earlier. It was very dark walking through each night, and this was not accommodated during my stay. With having 3 small kids, you can never have enough safety precautions.

Destin 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I like the location, smaller building(no crowding) & the friendly staff & guests!! My problem was my 10th floor reservation was changed to the 5th floor due to AC problems. I was not compensated for the move, was told I would receive the difference in price and then it was denied. I was then told there was not a price difference. This was our 2nd visit & there is a big difference in the 5th & 10th floors. There was noise & the smell of lighter fluid from the grill.
