If you are looking for a sweet, comfortable and clean home for your stay while visiting our beaches or other Calvert County attractions, look no further, we fully renovated this home just for you! Our 3 bedroom, 1 bath home accommodates 6 with a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room and dining area, with a back porch to sit and listen to the sounds of our small beach community or grill your catch of the day on the side porch. We are walking distance to the many restaurants, the beach and boardwalk, and we are only 5 minutes away from Chesapeake Beach and their amenities! Whether you are here to attend a wedding, visit family, take a winery tour (we have 5 in our county alone), come stay with us and check out the charm of Calvert County! And remember, we are only 30 minutes outside Annapolis and 45 minutes outside of DC so you can have a very peaceful stay and still visit Maryland's Capitol and our Nation's Capitol both!

Exactly as advertised

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. The house was exactly as pictured. Neighborhood was quiet with a small town feel. Most of the major appliances appeared relatively new, the beds were comfortable and the house was staffed with an abundance of linens and towels. Front and back yards are completely fenced in which is perfect for those with small dogs. North Beach is only a short drive from College Park, Baltimore and Annapolis. Check in was a breeze. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Beautiful, restful, great neighborhood

This house was the perfect place to visit old friends. Beds were comfortable, house had everything I needed for a long weekend, and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. It is walking distance (a few blocks) to the boardwalk and restaurants.

Great weekend get away

I brought my daughter with 2 of her friends to celebrate her 14th birthday and the place was perfect. The girls enjoyed walking to town and thrifting, getting ice cream, taking glam shots on the pier and watching movies in the cozy cottage. Tracy was extremely responsive and came out to fix a stuck door lock. Thank you!

We loved walking to the stores, restaurants and beach then coming back and relaxing at the house. It was a very stress free vacation :)

Cute house!

The house is lovely and super clean. The location is nice with regard to North Beach, but there is not a lot to do in the area. The water park is completely shut down, and the beach is very small. We ventured into Deale several times for food and views of the marinas. All in all we had a relaxing little getaway.

Girl get away

My sis & I absolutely loved the location & how we were able to walk everywhere instead of driving . The cute little beach town had everything we needed. The house was exactly how it looked online . A very quiet safe neighborhood.

Clean and great house! My only changes would be it needs better pillows and if scent free laundry soap could be used. Allergies to scented soap. Have it 5. Because I loved the house!

Wonderful property, great host, great location!

We were visiting our son in Annapolis and came across this property in VRBO. While a bit of a drive from Annapolis it looked great. Communication with with our host Tacy was great and fast. The property is amazing and beautiful and immaculately clean. Everything was so nice and comfortable, there is parking in the driveway. The area is also very nice with a boardwalk and restaurants and coffeeshops, and very nice and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Tacy!

Sweet Bamboo Beach Cottage

Our stay was short and sweet to attend a family wedding. This was the first VRBO house that we’ve stayed in that didn’t provide soap and shampoo in the bathroom and cooking necessities like oil and seasoning such as pepper. Otherwise the stay was delightful and uneventful.

Beach Cottage

Lovely Cottage with all the amenities of home in a quaint little beach town. Sweet Bamboo lived up to its description as a cottage and a beachy neighborhood. We walked everywhere except the Railroad Museum which was a less than 10 minute ride. The Saturday morning Farmer's Market has a bonus playground. We're hoping to return next year!

Great stay for long weekend

We had a smooth stay while in town celebrating with family for our niece’s graduation. Just needed a place to sleep and shower. Spent most of our time two blocks up at a house my sister rented for the family gathering. Cozy comfortable place to unwind at the end of the night. Better than a hotel!

Best Walkable Getaway Near DC

We rented this home specifically because it was near DC and we wanted to visit our daughter who was still in school at AU, plus have our other 2 adult children with us, and our dog :) This lovely home did not disappoint! Check in was easy, it was clean, dog friendly with the front yard and back yard fenced in. The master bedroom has a deck access, and that was a great place to read and just be outside. There was plenty of cookware, and we cooked most of our meals there. What we all really appreciated was being able to walk to the boardwalk from the house. Every day we took several walks and discovered new things in town. What came as a pleasant surprise, was the openness and friendliness of the people there. Especially with a dog, we met so many people who just stopped to chat, pet our dog, let our dog meet theirs, etc. It was lovely. The kids enjoyed time on the beach, and time to poke their heads in a few shops and The Bakist for coffee. All in all, a wonderful place, with very accommodating hosts!
