This waterfront estate on Douglas Lake is spread out over three floors including 8 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, and 1 half bathroom! Floor plan includes 3 master suites, with one on each level. Property is waterfront on a quiet cove with parking for your boat at your personal boat dock. Swimming and floating off the dock is safe for all the kids, with no boat traffic nearby. Two fully furnished kitchens, with one on the main floor and one in the walkout basement. Wrap around covered porches with seating and waterfront views from all three levels! Bring ALL of your family & friends because this house DEFINITELY HAS the room! Keep the adults entertained with a hot tub on the balcony and the kids entertained with pool and ping pong tables. Visit the fourth floor cupola to take in the distant lake views through the telescope! Enjoy the peace, quiet, and privacy of a cul-de-sac lot with no other home in site. Centrally located on the 28,000-acre Douglas Lake with marinas, fuel, and waterfront restaurants all within 15 minutes by water!

Douglas Lake water level is controlled seasonally by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Douglas Lake overall is accessible 365 days a year at any water level via public boat ramps nearby. The lake is typically accessible DIRECTLY from this property from April through September. Guests are welcome to use the private boat ramp at this property for small boats or jet skis if/when water levels permit. Normal size or larger boats should be launched at public boat ramps which can be located via online map service under the names "Boat Ramp" (on Boat Launch Road, Sevierville, TN, 37876) or "Dandridge Dock".

Great Family Getaway!

We spent the week here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time in the house! Kevin was so great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The layout of the house was perfect for our three families and there was plenty of room for our kids of all ages. The views from the house were beautiful and the location was perfect!

Amazing House With Room For Everyone.

My group of eight women throughly enjoyed our stay here. There was more than enough room for everyone. The two kitchens gave us plenty of room to cook and store food. The beds are very comfortable. Do be aware there are a lot of stairs, but anyone with mobility issues can easily access the lower level, which has two bedrooms, a kitchen, deck access, and a view of the lake. The drive to and from Sevieverville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is easy and it was a pleasure looking forward to returning to the house each night. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again!

Good friends, great memories!

Location was beautiful. The house was huge so we had plenty of room. It was truly a lovely stay. We loved that there was so much to do! The lake was wasn’t crowded at all, so we had plenty of space to tube and ski. There were just a few small things that were a little disappointing. The hot tub wasn’t up to temperature when we tried to use it the last night, the outside furniture cushions were really worn and stained and the kitchen wasn’t as stocked as we would have liked, but other than that a great stay!

Great for Families!

This house is amazing! The layout was perfect for our large group and we never felt crowded. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and everyone said their room and bed was comfortable. The stairs to the water looked new so only issue was how many there were!

Our stay overall was great we only had a few problems with a few things and with 3 big dogs coming onto the property twice trying to get into the house and surrounded us in the car barking and jumping on our car

Family vacation

We had 14 people in our group ranging from 2 years to 65 years. The house has 3 levels so there was a family on each floor. We enjoyed the middle deck. It was so peaceful and serene. We were within 30 to 40 minutes of all attractions that we went to. The house had everything you need to enjoy a family vacation.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time. The host was great. The property was perfect and had everything we needed. The only problem we had is the boat ramp shouldn’t be used. It has a large jagged drop off. We ruined a tire and rim pulling the boat out of the water. You should use the public dock until they fix this. There should be a warning sign.

Amazing trip

This house has everything to offer a large group or family! It was super easy to find out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but only 15-20 minutes away from pigeon forge . The boat dock was large and nice . The stairs are quiet a task to walk but could drive down people that need help. Other than that absolutely beautiful.

Great Home

My husband and I took my son and daughter and their children there for a weeks vacation. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. We had such a great time. We went sightseeing during the day and spent quality family time together in the evening. There were a few small concerns but Kevin addressed them immediately. He was definitely a great host and was easily accessible. You could stay in this area for a month and still not see everything there is to see and do!

The best venue for a wedding hidden in this beautiful gem! WOW just wow

We were blessed enough to have our wedding at this venue/property! it was absolutely perfect, to say the least! We held the ceremony on the driveway which the way it’s set up was perfect! Had the reception on the main floor and had fifty chairs and ten tables with plenty of room! Dressed up stunningly well! And then had our dance hall down stairs with disco lights and was more than enough room for everyone to dance! Can’t say enough good things about the property! The host was so accommodating, with the recent disasters in our area from the hurricane and my guests that were affected by that, we were granted an earlier check-in and later check-out and offered a discount if more days were going to be needed! Anyone that knows how badly Asheville was affected knows what a blessing all of that was! Can’t say enough good things about our experience, and how perfect the property was for our needs and, how great the host was! Thank you for letting us borrow your home! We will look forward to coming back many, many more times in the future!

Very nice

Overall, a very nice, spacious house. We ended up having some confusion over checkout time. It ended up being listed as 9AM which is definitely on the early side. But the house was well maintained and private right on the lake

Spring Break 2024

This house is beautiful. There were 17 of us and we were mostly able to sleep in a bed. Mostly...the two boys age 9 and 11 had to sleep on the air mattresses. Unfortunately the mattresses did not hold air and their dad had to purchase two sleeping bags for their stay. There are enough bathrooms to accommodate our large family. Besides the air mattress we did not have enough silverware and most all of the china was cracked or chipped. We also encountered many dead and live bugs. I'm assuming it was due to the house not being used any time near our use. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We loved having a pool table and ping pong table. There are numerous tv's and dvd players. Having two kitchens helped with the large amount of groceries we purchased. Thanks for having us.

Family Time

As a family we always enjoy coming to Eastern Tennessee to vacation and spend time together. This year was no exception. The property we rented was perfect for our crew. There was ample space for everyone and with the two levels, the younger group took over the lower level with the pool table, additional kitchen space and large TV. This allowed the older visitors to spend most of their time on the entry level, minimizing stair climbing for them, yet they also had access to a large TV and a full kitchen. The multiple decks allow great views of the lake, the mountain ridges and some beautiful sunrises. We traveled in late October and I was amazed at the extremely low water level of the lake. I had never seen it this low, so we actually were walking “on water” as we explored the lake area. Overall, We found the house to be well equipped and clean. There was ample toilet paper, detergents for both the sink and the washing machine, and kitchen basics. This isn’t always the case when you rent a home for the week. I found Kevin easy to work with, and his communication was very helpful and informative. Thank you! We will definitely consider a return visit next year, as the location is far enough away from the Pigeon Forge chaos for respite, yet close enough that an activity isn’t an all day event.

Great time on the Lake!

We had a great family vacation on Douglas Lake in Sevierville. We had 9 adults and 5 kids, and the house was perfect for us. Everyone had lots of room and we were very comfortable. Interior amenities were just right; Internet service was good, lots of refrigerator & counter space, great washer & dryer, etc. It was hot out, but the AC kept us very comfortable. Besides spending most of the time outdoors, the kids watched movies on the big screen, played with the Wii, played pool, and played with some of the provided board games/cards, etc. The house was secluded, private and was in a very quiet location. However, still close enough to Pigeon Forge, etc. Grocery store only 10 minutes away, etc. The family spent a lot of time in the water at the dock. Kids fished off the dock and shore. We also rented a pontoon boat and the dock was a perfect fit for the boat. The house sits up on a hill, and the driveways are a bit tight, but manageable. There are just over 100 steps down to the water, and it was a bit tough for some going back up. We did drive a vehicle down & up for one with medical issues, so it was still very manageable. Host was very accessible when we had questions! Overall, a great stay, and if we ever come back to Sevierville we would try to stay here again.

Extended Family Vacation

The property was large enough to house our large extended family. The property inside was decorated nice and with lots of things for the teens and kids to do. HOWEVER, the inside needed to be cleaned a little better. Dusty cob webs in some of the lamps, headboards of beds. Under beds were lots of dust trash and dirty towels. Under one of the beds was a dirty diaper. The outside had so many spiders, webs, spider eggs covering outdoor furniture doorways on side of house all eves. Large hornet nest attached to top eve of house. Wasps neat EVERYWHERE. One of the bedrooms that has a door leading to a deck had a wasp nest between the door and screen. The person who opened that door go strung several times on face and arms. A swing on the back porch/deck had a wasp nest underneath. Our elderly mother received multiple stings on her legs. The floating docks also cover with wasp nest so be sure to bring wasp spray for protection. Amenities clearly stated a kayak included on property but it was locked in garage. When questioned the owner he said “ you were able to bring your own . Sorry for the misunderatanding” Driveways are narrow so with larger vehicles turning around is challenging. Paperwork left for checkin stated welcome gift of drinks in fridge downstairs but there was none. The railing on the upper porch/deck was so loose we could not enjoy to views for fear of someone falling. Outside landscape also was overgrown.

Very nice home on lake

The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortably accommodates 16 people. Works well for multiple families since it has 4 Master bedrooms each with bathrooms, plus 4 more bedrooms. Top floor has two of the master bedrooms and a small bedroom with a double bed. Main level has a master bedroom with two small bedrooms one with double and one with two twin beds (trundle). Lower level has a master and a small bedroom with a double. There is a hall bath with shower on main floor and another on lower level. There are two full kitchens! The home is well decorated and has everything you need. Ping pong/pool table and Hot tub were also very nice. The downside to this property is the number of stairs to the dock and the fact that they are uneven and poorly constructed and maintained. One adult in our group had step collapse under him causing an injury and trip to the urgent care. I would not recommend using the stairs. The driveway to the dock is new concrete and is safe to walk down or drive a car down. The other downside was that we did not have full use of the dock. The pictures show an empty dock with parking for a boat but the owners’ boat and jet ski were parked there. We had rented a very large pontoon boat and had to tie it off at the front next to the owners boat which made it very difficult to dock it and maneuver around the other boat. The owner was easy to work with and was very responsive when we had questions and concerns. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Location was great....but the experience was not the best....

It is truly a gorgeous property and a great location. There was 15 of us that stayed here so we utilized the entire space and all bedrooms. We have stayed in many rentals and cabins in the area and have never had to "share" space with the owners. Most closets and drawers in the bedrooms were filled with personal items (their undergarments', their clothes, their personal hygiene items. Guests had to keep items in suite cases and didn't feel comfortable touching someone else personal items. The fridge/freezers were full with food and made space limited for the amount of food we could keep for a week long trip for 15 people. Once of the reasons I chose this house was because it had gas fireplaces on every floor. However, we were notified on the day of arrival that they had no more gas and that someone should be coming out in a few days to fill. The gas was never filled during our trip and the inconvenience was expressed to the owners through out the duration of our stay. One of our guests found a plugged in camera in one of the rooms they were staying in. Notified the owners how uncomfortable we were to find this and that our privacy is very important and we should not have to worry about feeling violated by cameras in private areas. Was told that the camera is not active. Regardless, it is not appropriate to have in a rental, especially in a bedroom. At the end of our trip we were to take off all bedding as part of our departure procedures. When we did two of the beds had huge yellow stains on the mattresses. We utilized the game room down stairs daily and enjoyed being able to relax in the hot tub.
