Perfect family getaway

This was awesome. The big kids had 2 queen beds (bunk style) upstairs in the loft and a pool table/tv and arcade game with their own bathroom, the other family with us had their own master and bathroom and we had a whole apartment area downstairs with bunks for the little kiddos and an incredibly comfortable bed. It was close to everything but not in the full chaos. We didn’t get to stay in the cabin much but next time I’d like to plan a day to just chill around and relax in the cabin!

Fantastic Place

Kym was exceptional to work with, she communicated prior, during and after our stay! The cabin was spotless and very homey! Perfect view of fireworks at night which was an added bonus! Close to everything! I also appreciated that Kyn face is restaurant recommendations! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for Groups!

GS Troop 20451 loved staying here! The girls wished they could stay an extra day to just hang out at the cabin. As a troop leader, I appreciate Kym's attention to detail when it comes to safety. Emergency numbers clearly posted. Fire extinguisher locations clearly marked. I would recommend this cabin to any group!

Convenient overnight stay

We stayed one night after a day at Dollywood. We had 5 children and 3 adults. The location was super close to Dollywood, which was the main reason we chose it. The area was very nice and felt safe. We had a little trouble with the keypad getting in, but the host was VERY helpful and quick to respond with help. Her communication when booking and asking questions was also top notch. The cabin is a duplex, but we did hear anyone next door. We had plenty of beds for everyone and they were very comfortable. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner helped us pack less, which was nice. The cabin had plenty of kitchen necessities, utensils and plates for everyone as well. The keurig was a must for us. My only complaint was that the cabin is very vertical. It is 3 floors and looks like a more spacious layout in the pictures. We only stayed one night, so it was fine for us, but if we had planned a week long trip, I would have been disappointed in this cabin’s layout. It was difficult to find an indoor space for early risers that wouldn’t wake anyone. Overall, it was a great choice for our quick trip!

Beautiful, Spacious, & The Most Comfortable Beds Ever

We stayed at four places on this road trip. This was our family's favorite and was perfect ending to our vacation. We needed the relaxation & rest and this place was best for that! The kids played and watched fireworks from the balcony. My husband and I were able to relax and get the best sleep in the most comfortable beds.

Awesome 4th of July Family Trip to Pigeon Forge Area

Awesome! was the first word uttered by our young grandkids as they explored Whistle Stop Cabin. The 4 adults in the group agreed with them as well. The grandkids claimed the loft level with the large bunkbeds, pool table and arcade game. Our son and daughter-in-law moved into the lower floor with the king size bed, living area and access to the outside deck. (By the way...this deck was a great place to watch the fireworks and drone show at Dollywood each night.) And us grandparents loved the main floor level of the cabin with a master bedroom with attached bath. There was something for everyone. Location could not be beat. Just a few minutes from Dollywood and other attractions in the area. Plus, easy access to Veterans Blvd made it so nice to get around without having to deal with all the traffic on the main highway. Kym, the owner, was great to work with. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Communications through the VRBO app were very timely. The Welcome Basket with all the snacks was greatly appreciated. Thank you Kym for sharing your "awesome" cabin with our family!

Amazing family trip to Pigeon Forge

Our stay was absolutely amazing and that’s an understatement! Our cabin was perfect for everything we needed. It was clean, the hot tub was amazing, the pool was never busy so we could swim whenever we wanted to (during hours) and the cabin was 3 minutes away from everything. Oh and I can’t forget the comfort of the beds, HEAVEN! I am so grateful for this trip and will without a doubt be back!!

Vacation with family and friends

This was our first stay in this cabin and it was fantastic! It was close to town but also quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone. The only issue we had was the hot tub wasn’t working, but we called Kym and she had someone out to the cabin within minutes, and it turned out the breaker had been thrown from a storm the night before. I would definitely recommend staying here. And my family, friends and I will definitely be back!! Thanks Kym for a fabulous stay!!

Perfect location

Our family group of nine included three generations. The kids enjoyed the video games, the pool table, and the indoor pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub. All enjoyed the fireworks on New Year’s Eve, which we could watch from the windows. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We appreciated too how responsive the owner was to questions. We were close to everything and could find ways around the usual holiday traffic to get to grocery stores and entertainment. A great find!

We used this cabin as a girls trip in celebration of my daughter finishing up chemo treatments for breast cancer. Kym went above and beyond to make this trip special! We walked in to decorations and sweets, and breast cancer awareness bracelets for each of us! How extremely caring and thoughtful 😌 The only reason I have to complain about anything at all was because the hot tub never got hot enough for us to use over the weekend, and that was one thing my daughter had asked that we have for the weekend. Other than that, we loved the cabin and would definitely come again!

Amazing and spacious property

The pictures don’t do this property justice! It was perfect for our 3 families to enjoy. We loved the bathroom on each floor. Centrally located and easy to take back roads to where we wanted to go. We weren’t aware it was Rod Run weekend until we were about to head up. Traffic was something else, but so easy to get in and out of this locations. The host was super responsive to our needs and easy to communicate with. Parking right by the front door was amazing as we had a small baby with us on this trip. Can’t wait to stay again.

Fantastic and convenient location!

Very closely located to everything we needed/wanted to see in Pigeon Forge. We attended a conference at the LeConte Center and it was perfect for that. There were 6 of us and we shared rooms, but each had our own bed. We had a parking issue when we first arrived due to confusion from another cabin renter taking our cabin's assigned space. It was quickly resolved and was no fault of our cabin owner. The owner responded promptly and politely to any and all questions we had.

Hello All, I am your host Kym. I was born and raised in California and love the outdoors. After researching mountains to hike in and chasing waterfalls, I discovered TN and the Great Smoky Mountains. I had to visit. I planned a trip and found spots to venture off to. I absolutely loved the beauty that the Smoky Mountains had to offer. I knew this could be my hidden getaway. I eventually purchased a cabin as a vacation getaway, and visit often. I decided to open my cabin up and invite guest to this amazing place in the mountains. I welcome you, and I hope you all enjoy the Smoky Mountains as I do. Take hikes, eat great food, see amazing wildlife, and take a lot of pictures to capture those memories! Sit still in quiet places, hear nature at its best. Have your camera ready at all times. You just never know what you may see.
