This oceanfront luxury cottage is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a small family holiday. Salish Sunrise Cottage is situated in a mature forest and features views of Secretary Island to the southeast and the Olympic mountains to the south. For experienced kayakers or SUP enthusiasts with their own gear, the beach is easily accessed and offers a good place to launch and begin exploring. Chairs and lounges down on the beachside patio as well as the propane fireplace make the outdoors all that much more inviting.

Great getaway!

My wife and I had a great getaway weekend at the cottage. It’s in a great location, has an amazing view, and great amenities! We would come back again for sure!

Salish Sunrise Cottage

This place was absolutely stunning. The view and surroundings were beautiful. Being so close to the ocean and watching the sea lions was just so lovely. The house was very clean, well stocked, and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed this 5 star place. If you have any mobility issues it may be difficult to get your suitcases up and down the hill.

An excellent weekend away

The property was exactly as advertised, owners delivered clear and useful instructions in a timely manner. Wonderful atmosphere and location, very close to everything essential and a short drive to everything else. We had a wonderful time and will definitely consider returning.

Breathtaking views and accommodation

Amazing stay on the Salish Sea. Spectacular sunrises from your deck. Loved soaking in the hot tub whilst enjoying the seals swimming nearby. The kitchen is well stocked. We’re sure you’ll love your stay here. There are two houses on this property. This accommodation is to the right, when walking down to the cottage.

Trade in the small screens for a window

This property is the real deal! Impeccably clean, well supplied with quality fixtures and that view! Who needs phones, tablets or tvs when you can watch seabirds, seals and, if truly blessed like we were, a pod of whales from the comfort of the living room! Or cruise ships lit up against the shadow of the mountains at dusk. The area is beautiful, plenty of trails to explore for all ages and levels of experience. Then soak the hikes off in the hot tub! Whiffen Point, a short drive is a wonderful way to start or end the day - and a popular dog walking spot. Check in instructions were clear, thank you Rob for accommodating our booking issue. Can't say enough about this gem. Miss it already.

BEAUTIFUL WITH STUNNING VIEW'S

This was an amazing property. Right on the beach with great views. Clean and very comfortable. Host was very resposive to questions and gave some great recommendations for local places. Over all, would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Oceanside!

Wonderful cottage; beautiful location; fantastic time enjoying the oceanside hot tub each evening. Rob, the Property Manager was on the ball and very responsive. It was a great place to stay.

Beautiful oceanfront guest cottage

The views here are spectacular! The hot tub and patio space make it easy to enjoy the ocean views all day. The host was helpful and has fast replies. We would definitely come back!

Pamper yourself

The studio is just as nice as pictured. All the amenities are as promised. We had a lovely stay. It is peaceful and absolutely stunning. The location is ideal for those looking to get away from it all. Do note however : the parking is uphill from the unit and getting heavy luggage or gear from the parking spot to and from the unit can be a challenge.... but oh soooo worth it!

Gorgeous Location

Had a romantic getaway here and it did not disappoint. The property and views, especially from the hot tub, were spectacular. As others have said, the walk down to the cottage house is a bit steep, and the main house is rather close. We still felt we had privacy and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent retreat

The cottage and host exceeded my expectations. The cottage had great amenities, was clean, comfortable, and delivered on the fabulous ocean views. The host communicated well and was responsive to any inquiries I had. Instructions were clear. It is located conveniently between Sooke and the Juan de Fuca marine trail. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner, I highly recommend.

Relaxing Vibe

We enjoyed our stay and were able to unwind and kick back while taking in the views that go on forever and the peaceful surroundings. We kayaked, visited the Night Market, Lighthouse and Shirley Delicious. A great mini-vacay!

Beautiful property with so much to see right from the waterfront

What a stay! The view inside and outside the cottage was simply beautiful. It was decorated so nicely. When you step outside, you cant believe the plants and garden ornaments! Everyday we saw something for the first time. Eagles, seals, hummingbirds, black oystercatchers entertained us for hours. Quick access to Sooke for restaurants, groceries. Highly recommend a getaway here!
