Custom built 200 sq.ft. oceanfront tiny home on a private 3 acre wooded lot overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Ideal for a romantic couples vacation getaway. A one hour drive from Victoria on the stunning west coast Highway 14, with great access to parks, beaches, hiking trails, world class surfing, fishing and much more. An incredible natural environment! The unit can have max 2 people.

The exterior is cedar with a very cozy interior and abundant natural light. It overlooks the ocean in a private, natural setting with a large partially covered outdoor deck. There is an indoor fireplace, table/bar with stools, fresh linens and towels, large outdoor shower and outhouse / toilet, fire pit, BBQ and sun deck. The sleeping area has a queen sized bed.

Guest access:

You will have access to the lower bench of the acreage and cabin. There is a very rustic steep trail to the beach from the cabin, which is not recommended for use.

Other things to note:

There is no TV or Wifi in the home to help you re-connect with yourself / partner and nature.

There is also limited cell service once you pass the town of Sooke. Sooke is the last stop for groceries, supplies and gas enroute from Victoria. While there a number of restaurants a short drive away and a great coffee shop (the Cold Shoulder), guests should consider bringing groceries from Sooke (or Victoria) before heading up. There are condiments in the kitchen (salt/pepper/olive oil) including a coffee and Kerrig machine.

Such a peaceful and relaxing place. The view is stunning and falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves is priceless. The fire pit and outdoor shower make it feel like camping but with a beautiful place to cook and sleep. I hope to return sometime soon.

Beautiful location, close too all the hiking we wanted! The tiny home is cozy and perfect for a little retreat! We also got fairly decent reception from the U.S. cell towers across the way, which was a nice unexpected surprise.

Everything is exactly as advertised! Perfect for 2 people looking for privacy, great views, trails, beach walks, etc. This tiny home has everything you need to kick back and relax. The owners clearly know what their doing, and even made sure the bed was comfy, and the linens were great quality. They thought of every detail!One thing to note. There are steep stairs to get down to the cabin, but they are totally safe. Just don't bring too much luggage to walk back and forth. We did get a good leg work out each time we went to our car. It was a non issue for us, but if you struggle with steep inclines, this is just a word of caution.

The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect and made it easy to get around, while still feeling private and comfortable. We truly felt at home and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would definitely book again without hesitation- 10/10 experience!

Great stay

Loved this tiny home. The views are unbeatable and the home is packed with everything you need and more. A bonus is that it is also clean! The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Would stay again!

Private, Peaceful Wilderness Setting

The tiny home was in a private and peaceful location, surrounded by wilderness and an ocean view. Hummingbirds and rabbit visited the site in the mornings.

This tiny home was perfect. Very quiet, the house was clean. Be advised the walk down to the property is steep and you’ll want to pack light. I loved the outdoor shower.

Perfect Location

This beautiful, secluded tiny home is perfectly positioned overlooking the Juan du Fuca Straight (we saw whales!!!) close to Sombrio/Mystic/Sandcut/China Beach. House is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need to have an amazing time in the Jordan River area. Will definitely be back.

Secluded Escape

Well equipped secluded with an incredible view - we loved our stay here. The outdoor shower and scentless outhouse made it fun and a little rugged with all the cozy conveniences inside. Kitchen had everything you might need as did the house with cute little extras like binoculars etc. Highly recommend. The cold shoulder cafe also very highly recommended :)

Amazing stay

My stay at this tiny home on Vancouver Island was nothing short of amazing. The stunning views were breathtaking and made every moment special. Waking up to the serene beauty of the landscape was an experience I’ll never forget. The outdoor shower was a unique and refreshing touch, allowing me to feel completely immersed in nature. The home itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible views, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

Interior is spotless and very modern. The view is great and it was really nice to disconnect from the world for a while. The grounds are a bit overgrown, some trimming of bushes and weeding would really help. I was a bit nervous having a campfire due to the foliage growing so close to the pit. The view is somewhat shrunken by the bushes but you can still see most of it. It’d be nice to have the trail to the beach restored.
