This beautiful cabin property borders the Smoky Mtn. National Park where you can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the mountains while relaxing by the fire pit. If you get tired of sitting outdoors on the multiple decks, move into the original log cabin living room where you can lounge by a wood-burning fireplace and play games, read a book or watch TV! The cabin is located about halfway up the mountain near Ober Mountain... and in bear country!

Windsong is privately managed and cleaned by owners who live nearby. It is as quiet as can be but is conveniently located near all the action...only 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg! We're minutes away from the Gatlinburg Convention Center, Ober Gatlinburg ski slopes, Pigeon Forge & Dollywood. In downtown Gatlinburg you will also find Ripley's Aquarium, Anakeesta, Space Needle, SkyLift Park, stores, numerous restaurants, moonshine tasting, and loads of entertainment. Our renters also have access to the Chalet Village Member's Club outdoor pools, weight room, game room, tennis courts and more (open Memorial day to Labor day). On property we offer a horseshoe pit, corn hole and a pool table.

The cabin is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom and comfortably sleeps 6, but can accommodate 8 on a sleeper sofa (1 king master, 2 queen beds, and new queen sleeper sofa) and is located in the city limits of Gatlinburg off of Ski Mountain Rd. In addition to the single car covered carport, the cabin can comfortably accommodate 2 additional cars. Two outdoor Ring cameras are used for security purposes only and cover carport area and fire pit area.

Peaceful and Quite

We loved the cleanliness of home and well stocked as this is always on our list of finding the perfect VRBO. Great location and very peaceful where not on top of the other houses! Comfortable beds! My husband and I loved the fireplace! We enjoyed our short time:)

Incedible Mountain Holiday Vacation

The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated for the holidays and had every necessity included so you didn't have to run out. What a wonderful time we had making smores at the outdoor fire pit and cozying up by the indoor fireplace to watch a movie. Would 100% stay again.

Family Vacation for Christmas

Great Cabin. Had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed our stay for the holiday season. Would definitely rent again if we came back to Gatlinburg. Was beautifully decorated for Christmas especially the Christmas trees is the bedrooms! One of the nicest cabins we have stayed in

Beautiful cabin

This property was exactly as advertised! We took a family trip (3 adults - 2 teens) and this cabin had more than enough room for us. The kids loved the pool table. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was also decorated beautifully for Christmas! The towels provided were the big fluffy towels! We enjoyed a night by the fire pit and spent a lot of time in the living area playing games and talking! The cabin is located very close to the busy strip in Gaylinburg and about 20-30 min from Pigeon Forge. The road up to the cabin is a little intimidating and the turn to get into the driveway is incredibly sharp. We would go past the driveway and make a turn in the area provided so that we could enter the driveway easier. Overall, we loved the cabin and would stay there Again if we go back!

Incredible views with a lot of little extra touches

We had 4 adults and 2 teens for the week of Thanksgiving. We loved all the little extras - candy canes, dish pods, hand soap in the bathrooms, bug spray, firewood and more. The drive up is a little stressful, especially in the dark, but once you arrive it’s absolute heaven. The bears are everywhere. The fire pit and view is phenomenal. The deck with the propane heater and gas grill is awesome. We loved the access to the national park and enjoyed hiking in right from the property. We loved the family room and the original cabin. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we are already planning our 2026 return! Windsong is a must book! We have stayed in a lot of owner managed properties in the last ten years and this is by far the premier property!

Beautiful and Clean - Lots of Bears

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The road was scary at first but after a few trips you get used to it. We saw several bears, and the property was clean. We would stay again.

Amazing cabin, great location

We loved our stay at Windsong. It was clean and well kept with lots of little touches that made our stay better. The outdoor space was great and the location was ideal for access to Gatlinburg and the national park. Highly recommend!

Family getaway.

Cabin is very clean and comfortable beds. Outside is just as great. Patio with firepit was awesome seen 8 bears in 4days. Will be coming back.

The Long and Winding Road that Leads to your Door

I'm a Paul McCartney fan and a Windsong fan. It's a 1st class property located on Ober Mtn above Gatlinburg. The property was exactly as described, well-appointed and squeaky clean. Lots of room both inside and out for activities. Kitchen includes all of the supplies needed to create your own meals. Our hosts were in contact before and during our stay making sure everything was going smoothly. To be honest, the first time driving up the mountain is an adventure of its own, but the trip was worth it and it became routine very quickly - I might have set the speed record on that last run:)

Short, family stay

This cabin is really cool. It was super clean. The drive up the mountain is scary the first time for sure. Huge drops with no guard rails, washed out shoulders, steep inclines, etc. The setting is worth it though. We saw 5 black bears!

Great place to hike the Smokies.

The hosts were great to work with, communication was quick and clear. House was fantastic and well equipped with great attention to detail. Good indoor and outdoor spaces for family to gather and relax. Very peaceful. Great location near Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain NP.

Wonderful quiet cabin

We loved staying at Windsong! We had two families in this lovely cabin for a week long stay. The cabins kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything we needed to make large family meals and seated everyone at the table. There were plenty of towels, (super soft) blankets, pillows, bedding. Being away from the chaos of downtown Gatlinburg was much needed. We saw black bears (even a bear cub) daily out the back windows. The one issue we had during the stay was quickly addressed by the hosts and not something they could have anticipated. We would happily stay here again!

Dream Come True!

We loved our stay at Windsong! This place is definitely up in the mountains, very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the fire pit area (about every night) with the firewood they provided - nice touch! The cabin was clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. They really went above and beyond thinking of all the needs a renter would appreciate. We used the pools that you have access to, great kid entertainment! I've always wanted to see a black bear in the Smokey's and my dream came true at this cabin. We saw a mama, papa and 2 cubs! I highly recommend staying here and love to come back myself someday! :)

Smoky getaway

Windsong was exactly as described and more.AND OH THE BEARS!check in,stay and check out was seamless. The binder with helpful info about the area was referred to often.the trail from the house into the park was a BONUS!I would highly recommend this property and its owners.

Wonderful Smokey Mountain Retreat

We had the absolute best time at the Smokey Mountains and coming home to the Windsong property each day. The property owners thought of everything to make it a comfortable and welcoming stay. We loved the quiet and peaceful nature of the backyard bordering on the National Park, as well as the wildlife we got to see. We would love to stay here again if our travels ever bring us back to the area.

Great location!

The location is amazing! In the National Park while mins away from family activities in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The drive up to the cabin was steep but other than that no complaints! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cabin in bear country

Beautiful cabin on the edge of the National Park. My family truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean! Air conditioning worked well with thermostats on both levels, which made our stay very comfortable. Loved having 2 bathrooms, one on each level. The washer/dryer on first level was very convenient too. The cabin is definitely in bear counrty. We saw bears each day on the property. We were surprised that one came for a visit even while we were playing horseshoes outside. We would love to return for a family vacation again some day.

Beautiful Smokey Mt Cabin

Loved our stay at this peaceful and accommodating cabin. The hosts were amazing at communication. The cabin was very clean, well maintained and had all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful!

Very clean, well maintained and well stocked cabin. Prefect for our family of four. The kids will never forget sitting at the table eating breakfast and watching a bear stroll through the yard! Wonderful family memories were made!

Stacy grew up in Knoxville but spent her adult life in Atlanta, GA where she married Terry and raised one daughter, Danielle. Most all of our immediate family lives in Tennessee although we've traveled to 45+ countries in the world. Danielle has lived abroad most of her adult life, but Tennessee will always be home and the mountains are our first love.
