Cherokee Winds is a true treasure, offering breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Perched high above Gatlinburg, this authentic log cabin sits right on the border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, giving guests a rare and unforgettable setting.
The cabin features 2 King suites, a queen/full bunk room and 3 full bathrooms, providing comfort and privacy for your group. The upstairs loft bedroom includes an in-room jetted tub and access to a private deck with a hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Guests will also enjoy the den with a video arcade game and sleeper sofa, as well as a media room with a large flat-screen TV for extra entertainment.
With three levels, two covered decks, and a covered front porch, there's plenty of space to relax and take in the mountain scenery. The cabin's level driveway accommodates up to two vehicles and offers convenient access just minutes from the Ripley's Aquarium, Ober Mountain tramway and amusement park.
As a guest, you'll also have access to three resort clubhouses. Each clubhouse offers a heated outdoor pool and indoor game room, and the two larger ones include tennis courts.

We absolutely loved this cabin! We came for the week to play baseball at Riken . It’s about 20 min from the field. We had no trouble getting back and forth! I loved it was at the top of the mountain. We seen bears everyday! Truly the best vacation we have ever taken!

Great cabin! The only issue would be to let people know that the drive up the mountain is treacherous. Very anxious drive up and down. This cabin is at the very top of the mountain and anyone renting needs to be completely aware of that.

Great Cabin, very comfortable

Awesome Cabin, lots of inside amenities(including movie theater, Hot tub, jacuzzi, etc) View was decent, though lots of trees blocked some out back. Lots of wildlife. We did lots of touristy things, it was great to come back to the cabin to relax.

Good: Cabin was beautiful and located at the tippy-top of a mountain. Furnishings are gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family. There is a full sized refrigerator and all basic cooking tools/appliances. Spare bedding can be found stashed in drawers and baskets throughout the cabin. Bad: There is a mountain coaster that runs through the "back yard" area, right off the balcony. This produces a loud electrical whine/hum noise that is present most of the day. It makes mornings on the balcony difficult. However, the noise seems to dissipate in the late evenings. I will also say there seemed to be workers around the coaster several times, so its possible the sound is a temporary issue. The jet tub was not properly cleaned out, so upon turning the jets on, stuff came out of the jet holes and that was pretty much the end of my bath and willingness to use that tub.

Beautiful place.

The cabin was everything that was shown online. Very clean x comfortable. Owners were very quick to respond to any issue we had. Even came out at 11:00 at night when we had a problem with the fridge. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was the scary roads up to cabin. And the abundance of bear! Neither is under the control of the owners. Overall a very good experience.

Fall Friends Vacation

The cabin was very nice but it could be stocked better . No dishwashing liquid , no pot holders , only 1dish rag and 1 dish towel,1 roll paper towels , 2 small garage bags, I roll of toilet paper in each bathroom should have extra . Instructions for main TV needed . Additional wash cloths and towels

50th birthday stay

The internet router was unplugged when we got there so we couldn’t connect to WiFi until I managed to figure out the problem. There was no coffee filters or any kind of cleaning products whatsoever, two dust pans but no broom. Bedding felt very dingy and dirty. Kourig coffee maker would be nice. TV in living room would not work. Local TV service or basic cable on at least one TV would be noce

Lovely cabin furnished beautifully, very nice view

We loved the cabin; however, it was noticeable that it had not been cleaned well. The evening that we arrived, when my son and his wife went to bed, they found that the sheets were dirty and had not been changed from the prior guests in master bedroom upstairs. There were hair, dirt and dirty feet marks on the sheets. It was late and they had to strip the bed and put the flat sheet on the bed to sleep on. There was sticky residue on the arm seat back on the loveseat in the great room. The furniture had not been dusted recently. I notified guest services, and they took very good care of things the next morning.
