Welcome to Casa Bella in the heart of Sam Hughes Historical Neighborhood. This 1950's architecturally designed home has been completely refurbished without imposing on the integrity and style of its original design. A cozy yet contemporary interior will make you feel at home the minute you enter its naturally lit living space.

The house is centrally located in one of Tucson's most sought out neighborhoods. Wind down in the serene surroundings of its beautiful desert landscaped front and back yards which are enclosed for your privacy.

Within walking distance are many local restaurants. Neighborhood market/restaurant, Floras Market Run (the former historic Rincon Market), Bob Dobbs, Tumerico (vegan). Also, the University of Arizona, shopping, parks, tennis, zoo, library and public transportation. Enjoy early morning and evening walks in our mild Arizona weather as you witness some of the most breathtaking sunsets ever.

Great location in Tucson

This was our 2nd year at Lil and Henry’s home. They make staying there easy. We used the free streetcar which was 1 mile away to go to the St Patrick’s Parade, Festival of Books, 4th Ave Street Fair, Arizona Transportation Museum and more.

The rental was in a pretty neighborhood, right near a big, beautiful park. The property manager was responsive and helpful!

Great Spot Close To UofA

We stayed for UofA's graduation and absolutely loved it. Hosts are responsive and kind. The house is very relaxing and safe.

Lovely spot in Sam Hughes neighborhood

We enjoyed a quiet stay in Casa Bella. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the outdoor patios.

Christmas in Tucson

We loved the house. The kitchen was well-supplied, allowing for a wonderful Christmas dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and beautifully decorated for the holidays with many luminaria out on Christmas Eve. The location was centrally located for many attractions and within walking distance of great dining. The male Vermillion Flycatcher that greeted us most mornings in the backyard was an unexpected delight.

Tucson gem

Great property in a historic neighborhood. Short walk to a local park, close to the U of A and unique restaurants. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, we enjoyed our stay.

Parents Weekend

Property was clean and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. There is some drainage issues with the one tub/shower that would make it challenging for more than one couple to share that bathroom. Neighborhood was great. House is super cute and we enjoyed hanging out in the backyard.

Sam Hughes Bungalow

We love Lillian’s place! The neighborhood it’s in is beautiful and it’s so convenient to great restaurants, the University, Sabino Canyon and downtown. Plus, Lillian is great to work with. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Long weekend in Tucson

Great location, enjoyed walking the neighborhood, as well as bird watching and coffee on the patio. The house was comfortable, clean and stocked with everything you need. Perfect! Already missing Tucson ❤️!

Wonderful house for visit to Tucson

Great midcentury house in historic Sam Hughes neighborhood. Walk to Flora’s Market Run. Nice private walled yard with cute lizards and spectacular bird watching. Kitchen was very well stocked. Bathrooms were great - plenty of hot water, spotless. Owners were very prompt and helpful in all communications.

Loved this cute, centrally-located gem in the Sam Hughes section of Tucson.

Really nicely furnished and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything you’d need for cooking your own meals. Weather was perfect in March and the sitting areas in the front and back yards were great. Thanks for the welcoming snacks and drinks. It’s the little touches that make it feel like home from the start.

Our fun month in Tucson

My husband and I loved the Sam Hughes neighborhood. We walked to Flora Market Run and Bob Dobb’s for lunch. So many places that we wanted to visit were only 1 - 2 miles away. Great location. The house felt like home on the first day. Lil and Henry were gracious hosts, bringing over a couple of things we needed and helping us out with getting our absentee ballots for an important election back home. We had 3 groups of family visit us during the month and we hosted Easter dinner for seven. Half way through our month we booked this house for a month next year. We can’t wait!

Great location, adorable and comfortable house

My husband, teen daughter, and I stayed in this very attractive rental for a week. We enjoyed walking around the quirky and architecturally interesting Sam Hughes neighborhood including the nearby park and appreciated the house’s central location and easy access to the university, shops & restaurants, and hiking trails (20 -30 min in any direction). The house itself is well and thoroughly furnished and equipped, including such helpful amenities as laundry detergent, cooking equipment, good lighting, etc. and we had everything we needed for a great week. Thank you so much to the helpful and welcoming hosts!

A perfect escape in Tucson

We had such a plesant visit in Tucson for the past 4 weeks while staying in Lilian & Henry's lovely home. All the qualities needed for a relaxing stay were included in the well furnished home. As a person who likes to cook, I found the kitchen well equipped and almost every need anticipated. The location was ideal as well with excellent restaurants within walking distance and a great fresh market at Flora's. Himmel Park with its many attractions was only a short block away. Plan to be there around noon on Sunday to listen to music by what appears to be a pick-up jam session with local musicians. How special! This was the best rental experience that we have had in Tucson! Thank you Lilian and Henry!

Would Definitely Stay Here Again

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Bella. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to downtown, U of A, and sightseeing in the areas around Tucson. The immediate neighborhood is quiet. The house is very comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen have been updated; the kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are good. The large TV in the living room is of good quality. Cable and Internet work well. Off-street parking under a roof is part of the property. The patios were handy, and the heat and AC worked well. The owner went out of her way to accommodate a special request.
