The electric fireplace is a great way to bring some atmosphere to tonight's dinner party, and you'll have a blast preparing your home-cooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Use the appliances, counter space, and cookware to turn out your creativity, then let the dishwasher take care of those dirty dishes while you serve your guests at the adorable dining table. On summer evenings, you can even take your meals al fresco out on the private deck while the wind rustles through the trees. The primary bedroom features a queen and a twin rollaway and the guest room has a queen bed, offering space for up to five guests. When you're not out hiking the many nearby trails, stretch out on the living room sofa to enjoy a good DVD or Blu-ray movie on the large flatscreen TV with lots of buttered popcorn and good friends.

Mount Mansfield State Forest is just eight miles west with lots of sprawling hiking trails, plus the highest peak in Vermont. Winter guests will be just six miles from Stowe Mountain Resort, where they'll find runs like Easy Street and Meadows for the beginners and Nastar Hill and West Slope for the advanced skiers.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
