This semi-oceanfront home with great ocean views awaits your ultimate satisfaction. A hot tub and private unheated pool will add to your vacation pleasure. This is the place for beach lovers! It's only a few steps from the beach.

Ground Level: Entry and laundry area.

Mid Level: Features a private den with a TV. There is one shared full bathroom on this level, one bedroom outfitted with two twin beds, a primary bedroom with a bunk set and two twin beds, a queen primary bedroom, and a primary bedroom.

Top Level: The lovely great room with TV/DVD, offers fantastic views, and opens to the sunroom also with TV/DVD. The kitchen is well-equipped for your cooking enjoyment. There is a primary bedroom on this level. The decks overlook the pool area and ocean. A half bath completes this level.

Amenities: Guests can enjoy a private unheated Pool, hot tub, WiFi, unlimited domestic long distance calls, seven TVs, two DVDs, video library, board games, books, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, ceiling fans in all Bedrooms, high chair, and a basketball hoop. guests can enjoy 90 yards of beach access.

THINGS TO KNOW
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Excellent vacation home

Our family has now stayed at this property for the 5th year in a row. The house is always extremely clean. Each year, there is always something new added. This year there was a new washer and dryer, a new bedroom set in one of the rooms, a new walk-in shower in one of the bathrooms and some new games left. The owners seem to constantly be looking to improve. This location of this property is also amazing- a short walk to the beach, a short drive to restaurants, the grocery store and shops. Staying here is the highlight of our summer every year! I would 10/10 recommend.

Great house, great location

The house had most everything we needed for our week stay. It's located one row in from the ocean and just a stone's throw from a beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. No major issues. We wished there was some trash bags provided besides the one that was in there when we got there, but that's about it.

Overall solid but could use an update

The house is about as close to the beach as you can be without actually being beachfront- location is excellent. The layout is perfect - plenty of space, lots of seating, and enough room to find privacy if you want it. The negative, and it's not major, is that everything in the house is just a little tired or outdated. The furniture is showing it's age, as are some of the fixtures. The Adirondack chairs on the deck are junk- cheap stamped plastic that were most cracked already. If Vacasa invests a bit of $ and TLC this house would be 5 stars- so it's a 4 until then.

Location, location, location

Great location, very close to beach, and close enough to the park for perfect sunsets and activities, as well as shopping if you need something. The house had everything you need, plenty of towels, plenty of bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, great deck to catch the sunrise, and lots of space. Plan to go back!

Good bones

This house was perfect for our vacation. The kitchen was spacious and especially functional. There were lots of communal spaces. I loved the pool even more so than the beach. Access to beach was awesome. Ocean views from the decks were also lovely. Negative would be the hot tub was hard to open and there is no need to plan physical activity as the four flights of steps on a daily basis will whip you right into shape. Some might complain that it is dated…I liked it. It reminded me of family vacations from yore. The deck boards should be replaced with Trex. There may be a safety issue with lose/wobbly railing.

We really enjoyed the location

The house is nicely laid out. The kitchen had ample supplies. We brought our own knives, which we do on any house rental. The pool area and decks were the only minus side with minimal porch furniture, and the pool had only one lounge and a couple of chairs.

Overall great!- Minor Suggestion

Overall our stay was great! There was more than enough space! We really enjoyed our stay. Although, the house was littered with insects. There were even dead bugs smeared on the wall in the hallway which was concerning and gross. Small suggestion of getting a heater for the pool. Although the pool and hot tub was very clean!

Good for Adults

The decks had some nails popping up, so caution was needed when barefoot. But for a couple adults it was perfect. Super close to the beach. Nice pool. Would stay again.

Don’t do it

When we arrived the pool was filthy, company was notified before 9am and maintenance came the next day. Even more upsetting was the house was full of fleas, yes the kind you would find on an animal. Even after staying out of the house for 3 hours for spraying we were being bitten. House was full of spiders, alive and dead. Only positive is this home was close to beach access. You couldn’t pay me to come back, more less pay premium pricing to stay here.

Terrific House!

This was our second year staying here and our family loved it! The house was clean had a great layout and was right next the path for beach access. It was a perfect home and great location for the price. We definitely plan on coming back!

So easy and effortless

Property had all things needed for a great family vacation. Close to beach. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Management was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Great Location - Comfortable House

One house away from the beach access was most important to us, staying with two toddlers. The house was comfortable and spacious. Though there were two dishwashers listed, only one worked. There were some instructions about going to turn breakers off and on if this happened; we were not about to get involved messing with the electric…A real pain, considering I loaded the broken one then had to transfer all the dirty dishes. Another irritation was the bathroom door to one of the masters scraped and got stuck halfway when trying to open the door. I called and spoke to Dominic who put a request for service in…no one ever came, it was never repaired. Not having a bathroom door that would open fully was annoying. As rental houses go, this was pretty good, all things considered. The crew had all the linens and towels on the beds and the house was clean. The pool was sparkling and so was the hot tub. Being right across from the oceanfront houses, views were very nice, with water views between the houses. Parking was spacious under the home for 3 cars and more can fit in the driveway. Loved the PVC railings on the decks with ample plastic Adirondack chairs. !the kitchen had all the basics, though I will remember in the future to bring my own kitchen knives for food prep. All in all we were very comfortable in a terrific location very close to shops and grocery, and had a wonderful week in Corolla.

Great house. Great location.

The house is great! Being in the middle of Lighthouse road you can bike to the shops at Corolla or up to the shops near the lighthouse. The beach access is just across the street - super convenient. The pool and hot tub were great. The house has plenty of space and a really big open kitchen/living room that leads out to the deck with a great view. Great for entertaining. My two suggestions would be to furnish the house with a working grill (we rented one for $75 for the week) and update the pillows and beds/bed clothes. We loved our stay and would return again.
