Welcome to our historic building that just completed a total remodel from the ground up, at The Colonial. We are pleased to offer this studio unit on the second floor (we do not have an elevator). The Colonial is centrally located in uptown Butte, across the street from the Headframe Distillery, Slainte and the Irish pub. It’s also close to bookstores, coffee shops and restaurants.

Things to Know

Great location in middle of Butte’s active night life. Better suited to young, active, tall adults! Not elderly person traveling alone.

Very Misleading Description of Rental!!

Too many inaccuracies!. No Fireplace, no dishwasher, no Hot Tub anywhere on the property. The photo showing a dining area with a table set with napkins/salt or pepper shakers is not in the apartment but in the basement and its not used for dining. it's covered with brochures and local news papers. Advertising that little table as the rentals dining room or dining area is simply dishonest. After realizing so many things were off I finally noticed there were no photos of the fireplace or hot tub? Next time im looking for pics to verify. There:s no ice maker, ok a tray in the freezer which held 8 or 10 tiny cubes technically an ice maker?. But really quite misleading. There was an iron but no ironing board as advertised and really the apt's so small there's no place to put a board. No one shorter than 6ft 6 will find things within reach here. I couldn't reach high enough to hang my clothes in the closet and I had to stretch to use the microwave and hope I was hitting the correct buttons. All but the lowest shelf in the cupboards was at all useable. The apt.seems built for a giant. Oh not to forget having to climb up the side of the bed like a 5 yr.old and the mattress was so soft I sank into it. It was very clean at least and I made it work and wasnt even going to complain until the owners sent me a bill for ruining the comforter. I use a night cream that contains silicone that washes out easily enough. I dont think they even tried to wash it it comes right out! Lessons learned
