Water's Edge is a house on beautiful Lake Malone in Western Kentucky. Lake Malone is the perfect location for hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, or just plain relaxing. Our home has over 200ft lake frontage and is in one of the most desirable locations on the lake, directly across from Shady Cliff Marina. We know that your 4-legged family is important, so pets are allowed with prior notice. Our property features a private dock, fire pit, gas grill, charcoal grill, and 3 kayaks for your enjoyment.
You’re sure to have a fantastic time in this fully furnished 3 bedroom/1 bath cabin. 2 bedrooms are furnished with full beds, and the 3rd with a qween bed. The dining area has a farmhouse table that will seat 6 people so you can sit down to family meals. There is 1,100 square foot of decking with several seating areas for the family.
Lake Malone is a 788-acre lake enclosed by dramatic sandstone bluffs and surrounded by forests. Take advantage of visiting our local businesses by enjoying 20-minute drives to adjacent small towns or take a day trip to Nashville, TN. To see walk through video find me on TikTok Letreze Stoots.

My family and dog had a great time! Perfect weather! The house is super cozy and there’s a lot to do. Kayaking and swimming was super fun, and having life jackets available to us was great! The TV’s were nice and the beds were comfy! Also, loved playing games with my family every night! 10/10 super fun time!

The host was gracious and responsive. We had some crazy weather while we were there and the host accommodated all of our needs. The view is beautiful and we appreciated the accommodations being pet friendly. They go above and beyond with kayaks, fishing poles and a large dog crate. The deck is fabulous with a great fire pit outdoor lighting and everything you need for a great vacation. They are a 10!

Letreze is very accommodating and communicative. Which made our check in/out very easy and efficient. The property is in a perfect location. Which my wife enjoyed walking in the evenings through the neighborhoods and kayaking during the day. Highly recommend!

Relaxing stay on Lake Malone : )Decided to take a trip down to the lake to enjoy some family time with our 2 sons before they headed off to college. Our doggo Jingle enjoyed it too.The house and surrounding property are nicer than even the online pictures. The house was spotless when we showed up and the view of the lake is beautiful! We enjoyed coffee, adult beverages and nice chats on the large deck, at the fire pit, and also in front of the picture window with 2 comfy chairs. The kayaks were great for getting out onto the water in the late afternoon/early evening. We'd kayak to the right and almost to the rock walls where the lake opens up. Plenty of room at the dining table to play games at night (many games provided) and seating to watch movies. Also enjoyed taking a morning walk down some of the lake roads to look at the lake houses. House is well stocked and we had everything needed to cook our meals. There's a Dollar General up the road if you need food/supplies. Letreze was an accommodating, communicative host who made us feel most welcome. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The perfect stay! Above and beyond for things you may need. Quick communication! Despite the cold and rainy weather, the view and the vibes made it the perfect little getaway. Definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy it fully! Kid friendly and the option to bring pets is a big plus too!

Loved the decor. It was very relaxed and peaceful. The home was very clean and everything was easy to find. Our questions were answered very quickly and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be asking for another booking. One of our favorite places to stay.
