Our apartment is completely remodeled, and tastefully decorated.

Perfect for vacationers, families, business travelers.

The Space

Large 1400 Sq. ft. of living space

3 bedroom apartment. Comfortable for families. If you have children we have a pack n' play and a bin of children's toys (ages 3+), also children's dishes and a high chair. Overall we have 3 queen beds, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and even a deluxe queen size inflatable mattress. There are 2 bathrooms. Blackout curtains and 4KHD tv's in each of the 3 bedrooms and the living room. The new Kitchen is fully equipped for longer stays, including a dish washer, and clothes washer and dryer! New bathrooms with ceramic tile flooring with a marble look finish, shower and bathtub. Free private parking for 2 cars. (Use only spaces marked 719 in front of our long driveway). Enjoy walking distance to many great restaurants. Near the Metra train station, 30 mins to Chicago. Also near the Rialto Theatre, Louis-Joliet Shopping Mall, Joliet Slammers Baseball, Harrah's Casino, Haley Mansion, Historic Joliet Prison where Blues Brothers movie was filmed, New Lenox Sports Complex and more.



House Rules:

The maximum house capacity is 10 people so please respect our home and do not exceed this number. Unauthorized parties, guests, events and smoking of any kind are house rule violations and will result in fines / fees and immediate cancellation of booking without refund. Damage to items or the apartment, or excessive mess requiring extensive cleaning will be charged. In the summer months, the AC limit is 71 due to the older home lack of modern insulation. We have ceiling fans or portable fans to help circulate the cold air

Door code will be sent shortly before check-in



The Neighborhood:

This newly remodeled beautiful brick apartment building was built in the 1920s in the Historic Cathedral District of Joliet. Almost everything you could need is walking distance. Restaurants, shops, entertainment, and public transportation.



Getting Around:

There is a bus route 1/4 block away, which will take you downtown to Union Station where you can take Metra trains to Chicago or take Amtrak to a much further destination. Uber, Lift, and taxis are available.

If you need extra supplies please plan to pick up any extra items needed items needed during your stay.

We provide a starter pack with the following items:

- one roll of paper towels

- one extra roll of toilet paper for each bathroom

- two extra garbage bags

- two dish washer pods

- laundry soap

- some coffee and/or a few k-cups



Please remember that you will be staying in a privately owned house, not a hotel. Therefore, we ask that you treat our home with respect. If any problems that arise, we will do our best to attend to these situations ASAP!

For the safety and security of our guests and neighbors, the exterior of the building is monitored 24/7 by recording security cameras covering the front and back of the and the driveway.

We provide parking for up to 2 cars. Please park in the appropriate spaces marked on the parking map

Please be aware, that as the seasons change, we get the occasional bug. We do have professional pest service which sprays regularly around the house. If you happen to see them, we can came out and spray or call our service and have them come out. That said, we will not be giving refunds for something we cannot 100% prevent.



Thermostat settings. We generally keep the temp set at 71-72 degrees. It is an older home and not as well insulated as modern construction. Setting it too low will ice up the condenser and cause the AC to fail. We have ceiling fans and floor fans to assist with comfort. Please let us know if you have any questions about this.



PET RULES:

We have a $75 pet fee. If we have to clean up after your pet we will charge additional. This includes service animals as well.

We must be notified if you have animals, even if they are service animals. Animals must not be left unattended unless they are crated. They cannot be left loose alone in the house.

Note: You must be 21 or older to book. All adults must provide a photo of your D.L. or State ID upon request.



CHECKOUT:

- Place used towels on bathroom floor

- Kindly scrape off food from plates, place in dish washer and start it.

- Gather trash and place in outside bins.

- Turn off all lights, fans and tv's.

- Lock entry doors on your way out. Thank you.



PLEASE NOTE:

- Unauthorized guests - $25 per unauthorized persons (people not on the listing or without notifying the host).

- Late checkout - We pay our cleaners by the hour therefore we may charge $50 for late checkout without prior agreement. Over an hour late is $100



Interaction with Guests:

We're happy to assist with any questions you might have or provide tips and recommendations for the surrounding area. However, the house is all yours. So while you're here, you will not be disturbed unless you contact us.
