GREAT VALUE! The perfect cabin in the woods, 15 minutes away from Deep Creek.

Welcome to Fern Hill Cabin with a spacious living room, kitchen, a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon and private bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor there's a full bath and on the second floor a 1/2 bath. You'll love spending time on the screened porch or just relaxing around the campfire. A short drive will get you to all the great spots the Deep Creek area has to offer. Please be advised a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is needed for the winter months. My recommendation is from Nov. 1 to Apr. 15. Roads are plowed but the area can receive several inches of snow at any one time. Please be advised we provide no towels or linens for beds. Please bring your towels, sheets and pillowcases for queen beds (king size sheets would also work).

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, the indoor space was nice and the screened in porch was amazing. We didn’t have a bonfire, but the setup was perfect for one and the grill worked well. It was very quiet and peaceful. It was about a 30 minute drive to Deep Creek, so be sure to work that into your plan if that’s why you’re staying in the area.

Sharon was a great host and immensely responsive. This is a beautiful and well maintained and utterly clean cabin on a picturesque mountain. The drive to Deep Creek Lake was also picturesque. We look forward to coming again.

We absolutely loved the cabin! The peace of drinking our coffee and sitting in the screened in porch was so relaxing. The cabin was everything and more.....Highly recommended

This was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was great and had everything we needed. The host did an exceptional job with communication. The cabin was very clean and everything worked. We would definitely like to stay at tjis cabin again. The best VRBO stay we have had.

The cabin in the woods was exactly as advertised. A very well kept, secluded property away from the hustle. We very much enjoyed the close proximity to Deep Creek and the surrounding areas. Friendsville is a great little town to visit also. We need a break and this weekend have it to us.

A cozy cabin weekend

We had a great time during our stay. We were conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit while still being tucked in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. It was such a cozy, cute cabin!

Very clean and quite

We have stayed there three times and just loved it each time. Very clean has everything that you would need for your stay . Most of all Susan the owner is very easy to work with.
