Spectacular moon rise and sunrise over the mountain.
Private cedar chalet on 20+ acres. Guest cabin out of sight but less than a mile away. Gorgeous view of the mountains. Four miles from Cacapon Resort State Park w/hiking, 18 hole golf, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing. Conventiently located only eight miles to town for mineral baths, spa, shopping and dining. 10 miles to C & O Canal Bike Rail Trail. Historic sites and skiing nearby.

Table Tennis in rec room. Some clear area for outside sports and some trees for shade. Good hiking on property. Two Master Suites -- one with soaker tub and separate step-in shower, the other Master Suite is on the top floor with king bed, twin size sofa bed, private balcony and studio beds and large adjacent bathroom with soaker tub/shower. Three additional bedrooms and two additional baths. A total of five bedrooms and four full baths plus 2 studio beds in loft. Mini-bar in rec room. Hot tub and firepit on the stone patio and larger firepit on side yard. Large deck and screened porch. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout the house. Kids swings, and hammock on patio.

Family gathered from various states to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We all had a wonderful time! The chalet was beautiful. And the view was breathtaking! I can't say enough great things about our stay. We would definitely stay here again! The host was amazing to work with and was very responsive to our needs.

Beautiful house on the mountain

We stayed a weekend at the Chalet and highly recommend! The hot tub was amazing, beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable trip

Peace and tranquilty

Gorgeous property with killer views. Off the beaten path thus providing a great place to enjoy nature or just relax and take in the atmosphere. Screened porch nice bonus with cute tiki bar. Bedrooms well appointed and the amenities included are a bonus. Highly recommend.

Golf Ladies Getaway

A group of ladies traveled to Berkley Springs to play golf for a couple of day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect as well as the kitchen! Hot tube and fire pit outside were very nice! House was very comfortable and plenty of room for a group. We had a great time. Hope to be back!!

Peaceful, fun getaway

House was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Great location to the downtown area and beautiful State Park. We wished we could have located the on-site fishing spot but had trouble with that. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, secluded home with an incredible view and hot tub

Perfect home to use as a base for exploring Berkeley Springs. The house is large and stocked with all the essentials. Adults particularly loved the screened in patio and the hot tub, while the kids loved the many games, ping pong table, swings, and all the space they could want for exploring. Easy drive to Cacapon and Berkeley Spring parks. Owner is highly responsive and super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family trip.

Almost Heaven Indeed

What a perfect getaway! We spent five relaxing days here in November. The house had everything we needed and more, and was super clean upon arrival. The kids loved the ping pong table and expansive yard, and the parents loved the porch with a view and the hot tub. The view can't be be beat. Jackie was incredibly helpful and communicative. We will be back!

Last minute stay and the owner was wonderful to get us in!

We were headed to Berkeley Springs and we’re to stay in a different VRBO however, due to an ice storm, we lost power at the VRBO and needed to change our destination. This owner was very quick to accommodate us. We loved our stay. The place was clean plenty of room, and the property and views were beautiful. I would recommend an SUV with four-wheel-drive.:).

Great Property

Really enjoyed this home. House is great. Plenty of space, rooms, and beds. Jackie responds to any requests quickly and has great info. Porch was great place to have coffee and watch Deer run around. I would say our favorite part though was the Large Fire pit. We spent most of our nights there catching up and reminiscing by the fire pit and it is a perfect size with nice benches to sit on. Really enjoyed this relaxing stay!

Family tradition

My family of eight has been coming to this chalet for many years now for our annual get-together. We tried several different locations over a few years but had such a good time at the chalet that we stopped even looking anywhere else. Jackie is a responsive, friendly host who is very accessible and helpful. The property itself is wonderful. Our family especially prizes the screened-in porch with its large table for family dining and game night in any weather. We like to spread out and there's plenty of space. The chalet has become a big part of our family's history and I can't recommend it enough.

Delightful

Everything thing was very clean, peaceful and calm. Internet didn’t work the first night but was all fine the next day. We were told to stay quit the 3rd night, which weird. Therefore, it was as isolated as we thought. We had an unexpected overpriced situation with the manager. We hoped that’s it should be written specifically in the app or description so that customer shouldn’t feel misleading. Everything was delightful and enjoyable besides the pricing and noise problem.

Perfect family getaway!

We are a 3 generational family of 10, and loved our week at this charming chalet in the mountains of West Virginia. The house was beautifully situated in a secluded woodsy area, with the Blue Ridge Mountains serving as a beautiful backdrop. The house itself was quite spacious and, with three floors, there was plenty of room for everyone to have his/her own space. The screened-in porch was perfect for reading and evening drinks, the rec room came equipped with a pool/ping pong table that the kids loved, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for meal preparations. Two large dining areas, one near the kitchen and one on the screened-in porch (each could accommodate our 10) made evening meals with the entire family memorable. The chalet is located next to Cacapon State Park where we hiked and swam in the lake. Berkeley Springs offered good restaurants, interesting art galleries and enjoyable spa experiences. The greatest thing, though, was that we could all be together after being apart for the past 15 months of the pandemic. What a joy! Jackie Clark was easy, flexible and caring about our experience at her chalet. She responded to all questions quickly and made some great suggestions. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property for family gatherings.

Beautiful location with amazing scenery and privacy. The Chalet is fantastic with modern conveniences and rustic charm. We plan to stay again next fall! Sunrise over the mountain is worth the early rise.

This place is one of the best houses I’ve stayed in Berkeley Springs! Very clean, hot tub was tremendous, great view with a deck and the fire pit was perfectly located. It has all the amenities and comforts of home. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Beautiful house, great views, lots of space and plenty of bedrooms! Very clean, everything worked as it should. Very private, no neighbors on top of you but close to town and attractions. Grandchildren loved the swings and we enjoyed ping pong and the pool table! We had a fantastic time hanging out on the deck and especially the screened porch in the evenings. Would stay here again!

When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs to have a relaxing weekend, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back again and eventually bought a farm and house we call Sky Mountain Farm. We sold the farm and built Sky Mountain Chalet on 24 acres on the next ridge with breathtaking mountain views. Further down our ridge, we built a honeymoon cabin we named Fox Hollow VRBO #419811. The Chalet is a great place to stay for two-thirteen people.
We hope you enjoy our chalet as much as we do.

We love the short drive from town to Libbys Ridge and breathtaking views. We love the waters, spas, restaurants and shops in Berkeley Springs and it's only 90 minutes from home.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The view is the best and our amenities cant be beat with 6 sleeping areas. The sunrise over the mountain, the firepit and hot tub, the stars at nigh. We can hike to Sleepy Creek at the bottom of our ridge. We love the wildlife, the peacefullness, canoeing on the Cacapon and Potomac rivers, and fishing in the streams. It is a wonderful place to get together with family. Kids of all ages can find something interesting to do.
