I love the moon rise over the mountains. Sunrise is spectacular too.
Private cedar chalet on 20+ acres. Guest cabin out of sight but less than a mile away. Gorgeous view of the mountains. Four miles from Cacapon State Park w/hiking, 18 hole golf, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing. Conventiently located only eight miles to town for mineral baths, spa, shopping and dining. 10 miles to C & O Canal Bike Rail Trail. Historic sites and skiing nearby.

Table Tennis in rec room. Some clear area for outside sports and some trees for shade. Good hiking on property. Two Master Suites -- one with soaker tub and separate step-in shower, the other Master Suite is on the top floor with king bed, twin size sofa bed, private balcony and large adjacent bathroom with soaker tub. Three additional bedrooms and two additional baths. A total of five bedrooms and four full baths plus 2 studio beds in loft. Mini-bar in rec room. Hot tub and firepit on the stone patio and larger firepit on side yard. Large deck and screened porch. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout the house. Kids swings, and hammock on patio.

Family gathered from various states to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We all had a wonderful time! The chalet was beautiful. And the view was breathtaking! I can't say enough great things about our stay. We would definitely stay here again! The host was amazing to work with and was very responsive to our needs.

Beautiful house, great views, lots of space and plenty of bedrooms! Very clean, everything worked as it should. Very private, no neighbors on top of you but close to town and attractions. Grandchildren loved the swings and we enjoyed ping pong and the pool table! We had a fantastic time hanging out on the deck and especially the screened porch in the evenings. Would stay here again!

Beautiful house on the mountain

We stayed a weekend at the Chalet and highly recommend! The hot tub was amazing, beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable trip

Peace and tranquilty

Gorgeous property with killer views. Off the beaten path thus providing a great place to enjoy nature or just relax and take in the atmosphere. Screened porch nice bonus with cute tiki bar. Bedrooms well appointed and the amenities included are a bonus. Highly recommend.

Very nice home with great space to gather. Close to activities, we did the rails to trails out of Hancock. And had a wonderful dinner in Berkley Springs.

Beautiful Views Everywhere

Golf Ladies Getaway

A group of ladies traveled to Berkley Springs to play golf for a couple of day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect as well as the kitchen! Hot tube and fire pit outside were very nice! House was very comfortable and plenty of room for a group. We had a great time. Hope to be back!!

Peaceful and cozy with a great view

Group of friends had a wonderful weekend together here! Hiked in nearby Cacapon park, cooked meals together in the well equipped kitchen, played games by the fire and enjoyed the hot tub several times. Under the stars was just magical! Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Loved the view out the back deck! Can't see any neighbors so it feels very secluded.

Peaceful, fun getaway

House was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Great location to the downtown area and beautiful State Park. We wished we could have located the on-site fishing spot but had trouble with that. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous rental

The house is roomy and very comfortably furnished. We stayed with our son, wife and two small children.The hot tub was a really nice plus and stargazing on the deck balcony was perfect. Set in a beautiful location overlooking forests and mountains. Not far from both Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park.

2024 retreat

This is the second year we have stayed here, and once again it did not disappoint. Wonderful location, clean and well equiped. This is the perfect place for a textile art retreat. We just hope we don't get so big we can not return. Thank you Jacki and the work crew.

Viking cruisers

We are a group of four couples who travel together. We cruise but also meet at VRBOs about once a year. This home serves us well…roomy with a bath room and bedroom for each couple. Well equipped. Great deck and outside views. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, secluded home with an incredible view and hot tub

Perfect home to use as a base for exploring Berkeley Springs. The house is large and stocked with all the essentials. Adults particularly loved the screened in patio and the hot tub, while the kids loved the many games, ping pong table, swings, and all the space they could want for exploring. Easy drive to Cacapon and Berkeley Spring parks. Owner is highly responsive and super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family trip.

When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs to have a relaxing weekend, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back again and eventually bought a farm and house we call Sky Mountain Farm. A few years later we built the cedar chalet on the next ridge which we rent to vacationers. Check out our Honeymoon Cabin Fox Hollow VRBO #419811. The Chalet is a great place to stay for two-thirteen people.
We hope you enjoy our chalet as much as we do.

My husband and I will be retiring soon when the next generation takes over. We wanted to build a retirement business and since one of our favorite places is Berkeley Springs, we decided that would be a great place for a retirement business. Berkeley Springs has wonderful water, a nice community and is only 90 minutes away.

We love the hiking, the wildlife, canoeing on the Cacapon and Potomac rivers, and fishing in the streams. It is a wonderful place to get together with family as kids of all ages can find something interesting to do.
