Private, cedar chalet on the ridge on 20+ acres. Gorgeous view of mountains, sunrise, moonrise. Great hiking on property. Four miles from Cacapon State Park and hiking,18 hole golf, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing. Some of the best fly fishing in the East! Eight miles to town for mineral baths, spa, shopping and dining. 10 miles to C & O Canal Bike Rail Trail. Historic sites and skiing nearby. Walk to creeks.

Pool table/Table Tennis in rec room. Some clear area for outside sports and some trees for shade. Good hiking on property. Two Master Suites -- one with soaker tub and separate step-in shower, the other Master Suite is on the top floor with king bed, twin size sofa bed, private balcony and large adjacent bathroom with soaker tub. Three additional bedrooms and two additional baths. A total of five bedrooms and four full baths plus loft studio bed for two. Mini-bar in rec room and hot tub and firepit on the stone patio. Large deck and screened porch. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout the house. Kids swings, Sky Chair and hammock on patio.

Beautiful house on the mountain

We stayed a weekend at the Chalet and highly recommend! The hot tub was amazing, beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable trip

Guys Weekend

We had a really great weekend at the Chalet! This was the 1st time our group of guys had gotten together since the pandemic and it was great to just sit around the upstairs fireplace and catch up. The dining table was great for meals and board games. Plenty of beds and bedrooms as well. The hot tub was perfect!

Beautiful location

Great view. Felt like you had the side of the mountain to yourself. Good hikes. No traffic. Still, nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away and Berkeley Springs is about 20 minutes. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children 13 - 18. Never felt crowded. Everyone had a great time!

Great stay not far from Downtown Berkeley Springs

We had a great stay! Location was quiet and secluded. The beds were comfortable and the common areas perfect for us to relax and visit. We loved the screened in porch and ate most meals there. Every day we walked the lane and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely return!

Family Weekend

We had a great time with family - the place was very peaceful and remote. Had plenty of space for us - enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, the hot tub and playing ping pong.

Peaceful and cozy with a great view

Group of friends had a wonderful weekend together here! Hiked in nearby Cacapon park, cooked meals together in the well equipped kitchen, played games by the fire and enjoyed the hot tub several times. Under the stars was just magical! Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Loved the view out the back deck! Can't see any neighbors so it feels very secluded.

Great Mountain Chalet

My sisters and I stayed at the chalet for a 70th Birthday celebration. The chalet is set up for large or small groups. There were 5 of us, and we all had our own bedroom. The views were spectacular! Lots of outdoor dining, gazing at the stars, and just enjoying the views. Wonderful experience!

Beautiful Berkeley Springs!

We appreciated the breathtaking views and fresh air! Plus, the home is located a short distance from Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park! The house was clean and bright, and even ready earlier than expected. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were relaxing. Thank you for a great stay!

Golf Ladies Getaway

A group of ladies traveled to Berkley Springs to play golf for a couple of day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect as well as the kitchen! Hot tube and fire pit outside were very nice! House was very comfortable and plenty of room for a group. We had a great time. Hope to be back!!

Kinney Cousins Annual Reunion

The number of beds and bedrooms worked well for our group. There was everything we needed and the view out the back of the house was spectacular. It was close to town and Cacapon Staye Park, which we didn't get there but hope to next year.

Great property

The house was beautiful with lots of space for the eight of us. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially enjoyed meals on the screen porch, time in the hot tub and star gazing on the deck. Jackie is an excellent host and very responsive

Very peaceful stay

The property has plenty of rooms and beds - was perfect for our group of 12 people. We enjoyed the hot tube, made fire and played endless matches of table tennis. The only downside for us was that some of the beds were not very comfortable and made sound whenever you had to turn.

Lovely week

My family and I spent a lovely week at this property. It was immaculate - well stocked, with several gathering spaces. Any issue was immediately addressed. There is a lot to do in the area, but it was also nice to sit on the porch and read, soak in the hot tub, have a fire in the fire pit and roast marshmallows, or play tennis table or pool.

Peaceful, fun getaway

House was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Great location to the downtown area and beautiful State Park. We wished we could have located the on-site fishing spot but had trouble with that. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs to have a relaxing weekend, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back again and eventually bought a farm and house we call Sky Mountain Farm. A few years later we built the cedar chalet on the next ridge which we rent to vacationers. Check out our Honeymoon Cabin Fox Hollow VRBO #419811. The Chalet is a great place to stay for two-thirteen people.
We hope you enjoy our chalet as much as we do.

My husband and I will be retiring soon when the next generation takes over. We wanted to build a retirement business and since one of our favorite places is Berkeley Springs, we decided that would be a great place for a retirement business. Berkeley Springs has wonderful water, a nice community and is only 90 minutes away.

We love the hiking, the wildlife, canoeing on the Cacapon and Potomac rivers, and fishing in the streams. It is a wonderful place to get together with family as kids of all ages can find something interesting to do.
