We enjoyed this place. We use to have a place in the area so it was nice to be able to go back & visit. Cabin was comfortable & just what we needed. Has the amenities needed to stay comfortable.

Perfect place to unwind

The cabin is as described and well stocked. We had a relaxing Thanksgiving. Great place for kids and dogs to visit the PK State Park.

Cabin had everything you could imagine in regards to being stocked. Clean. Comfy. Good location in regards to the marina and where we were visiting. Very nice.

Great stay at cabin close to PK Lake.

Lovely cabin close to Bluff Creek Marina and other areas at Possum Kingdom Lake. Loved the fenced-in backyard and the outdoor patio with a built-in grill. Beds were comfy, and lots of extras were provided. House was stocked with everything you'd need for a day at the lake - beach towels, floaties, and extra life jackets for kids. Lots of board games in the house if that's your thing. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

Wasnt sure we could go with fires at PK. But the fire department did an excellent job. Jonathan was very good keeping me informed. Very comfortable place. Perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend. Enjoyed breakfast on the patio in the mornings. And very homey accommodations. Confidently located by Bluff Creek Marina. Will definitely reserve again.

Clean, quiet, and well furnished

There were 3 adults and 3 black labs on the trip. The back yard is fenced so the dogs were safe. The kitchen was very well furnished and we found everything we needed. No gas grill but there was a stone charcoal grill out front and a small metal standing fire pit. Perfect for smores! Stars were really bright on a clear night. Great movie streaming options. Perfect for our small group and furry friends.

Doodles, my Yorkie made a thorough inspection of the cabin and the fenced in yard. She found it to her liking. And settled in immediately. She loved the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the hanging chairs. The house was spotless and was as well stocked as my own home. The outdoor grill was perfect and the view at night was just as written, “A perfect place to star gaze”. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer

One of THE Best VRBOs

Perfect lake cabin in secluded area. Fully stocked with everything you can want or need for the lake. I’ve never seen a VRBO stocked this well. AC is cold and backyard fenced in for pups. Beds and couches were comfy. Huge TV with access to all TV apps. Super clean. Owners responsive and made check in a breeze. You can get full groceries near PK Patterson marina at the Trading Post. Dinner at Hemingways was amazing atmosphere and food. Boat rental through Naylors by the Water was super easy. We will be back.

Refresh & Reconnect with Nature

I was looking for a place to stay that would be about midway between Possum Kingdom Lake State Park and Mineral Wells State Park. This cabin was well situated between the two places of interest for us and was in a very quiet and peaceful area - a great place to refresh and reconnect with nature. Jonathan and Katrina were very attentive to our needs and responded quickly when we reached out to them for help. We enjoyed the outdoor cooking area and seeing the stars at night! The kitchen was well stocked. One day during our stay the temperature dropped to around freezing and we enjoyed a day in with the warmth of the gas fireplace while playing board games and watching movies. Katrina reached out to me and let me know where I could find extra blankets. We greatly appreciate the hospitality and kindness shown by our hosts!

Cute and Cozy!

We really enjoyed staying at Jonathon and Katrina’s home. From the first email they were very responsive, helpful and kind. When we arrived the weather was cold and windy. They let us check in early which was so appreciated! The cabin is perfect. We turned down the heater and used the fire place which turned the place into a little toaster. Perfect for a cold winter day. We didn’t see anyone the entire stay. Everything was labeled so nicely. All the linens and dishes appears to be fresh and new. If I couldn’t figure something out I just had to look around and the answer was there with a little label! The fenced in yard was wonderful for my dog. Highly recommend this place, it was perfect for our visit to PK. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Cozy country cottage

We had a great stay. This cozy cottage in the country is clean, comfortable and convenient. The hosts have thought of everything you would need for your stay. The outdoor living spaces are perfect to rejuvenate and allow you to soak in the outdoors and of course that beautiful night sky. We were there for a fishing tournament so it was a convenient distance to the lake as well.

Quiet cabin with lots of entertainment inside and out

We rented the cabin for our baseball tourney at Rocker B. It was a little further from the facility than we have stayed before, but had more room and everything we needed. The host was super helpful with all of our questions and gave us lots of local tips!! The general store (which is super close to the property) had tons of stuff and the cafe was great too! We didn’t get to take advantage of the live music on this trip. Maybe next time!! It was just so hot outside. We had a great time playing games indoors!!
