Centrally located in beautiful Hatteras Village, Slash Creek Condos have it all. Each semi-sound-front condo includes its own boat slip for outboard boats up to 25-feet, so don't forget the fishing poles. The kids will love fishing and crabbing from the Creek's long walkways along the creek. The site is well-landscaped and the community pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. With a spacious, upscale kitchen and a living area with resort furnishings, a covered deck, and wetland views, you'll feel right at home. When you enter Hatteras Homerun, you’ll find a closet with a stacked washer and dryer near the half bath. The living area also provides access to the deck through the slider. On the deck, you'll enjoy views of Slash Creek with your morning coffee or a glass of evening wine at the pub table with four chairs. Back inside, your guests will enjoy their queen main bedroom with a soaking tub/shower combo and a TV. After a day at the beach, relax in your private main bedroom with a whirlpool tub/shower combo. Have a homerun vacation at Hatteras Homerun!

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 2.

Dock details: 25' dock available for guest use. Boat should require no more than a 2' draft. Boat must NOT have a head.

Hatteras Homerun Experience

Tastefully decorated. Beds very comfortable. Especially appreciated the elevator. Made hauling luggage and other items up to our condo much less taxing than traversing stairs. (FYI). Need to install grab bars in the bathtub/showers to avoid accidental falls getting in/out. Also,clean the blades on ceiling fans. They had a lot of accumulated dirt.

Nice place to stay at the beach.

The home was nicely furnished and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a week at the beach. The outside deck and dining area were nice to eat on and watch the sunrise and sunset. The couch and beds were comfortable. The elevator made it easy to get in the condo and unload/load your vehicle. The television in the bedrooms with cable were nice to watch before bed. The location of the condo was close to the vehicle ferry to go to Ocracoke for the day.

Happy renter

This stay allowed us to check in on a weekday and stay 8 days which was perfect for our trip this year. The condo was beautiful and allowed us to have a very relaxing stay. The rental process, check in, and check out were very simple. The condo was very clean and had everything you would need to start your stay (dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.) We have rented for over 10 years on the OBX and although different from the previous rental group, we have been very happy with the rentals we have had through Vacasa.

Great Condo

It was a roomy, clean , and had very comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pan etc. The condo was tastefully and Beautifully decorated in a great neighborhood

Condo was nice but won't use VACASA again

This unit is very nice and well appointed. The day after we arrived, we were notified by text and email that the unit below had reported a water leak. My husband called the "customer service" number provided by Vacasa but they were less than helpful. Thanks to the downstairs neighbor, the owner was notified - NOT BY VACASA- and the leak repaired. Even though threr are 2 Vacasa offices on Hatteras Island, the nonexistent customer support was hundreds of miles away and absolutely. clueless. Use local realtors like Dolphin for rentals on OBX, not Cacasa.

Great stay

Our Condo was ready early and they told us via text. When we got there the code didn’t work and we called and they were able to reset it right away! The unit was clean and a great layout. We loved the balcony. We also loved the pool. It was perfect temp every day. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful !!!

Wonderful stay. We have been renting for years and this rental is one of our best. I didn't want to leave the place anymore. Large, bright, spacious and quiet. Perfect for relaxing

Great home but poor customer service from Vacasa

This was our first experience renting through Vacasa. The home was exactly what we hoped for, clean, beautifully decorated, well-appointed and in a great location with easy access to everything. Vacasa on the other hand only communicated with automated texts and emails. I began trying to reach them with questions about our vacation stay six weeks before our booked arrival date and never got a response from my inquiries. I left two voicemails and sent three emails with very simple questions, and no one there ever made any effort to respond. Fortunately, everything worked out well and we enjoyed our stay, but it was in spite their customer service and not because of it.

Great condo

The condo was clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. I’d have given 5 stars if the full size sofa cushions weren’t help up by plywood, which made it very hard and uncomfortable. Other than that this is a great condo and we really enjoyed our vacation!

Hatteras Homerun Review June 2021

The Condo itself was OKAY....The furniture is worn out. Instead of replacing it was just temporary fixed. We stayed in the same Condo last year and the Sofa was not very good then (pull out Sofa). This year we find that the same furniture is there with a piece of plywood under the cushions. This was no help to the furniture at all. After seeing and talking to a few of the Home Owners we felt like we were constantly being watched. With an issue the day before leaving at 10am we had to leave a message on voicemail three different numbers because there is no one in the Hatteras Realty office until 2pm. We were in the pool one night and were being watched by a Home Owner to make sure we got out on time. Pool doesn't open until 10am and closes at Dusk. We have been staying at Slash Creek for 8+ years and have never had an issue. Unfortunately this may be our last time using Hatteras Realty and Slash Creek. I also think that it's crazy that I am given the Key Code to access the Condo early in the morning but cannot be sent message/email when room is ready. In past years we have been able to stop by the Realty office and let them know we are in town and they would call/ text us and let us know when the room is ready. We stopped by the office and on Saturday (check-in day) the office door locked and nobody allowed in . Not sure what's going on but this is not good customer service. We had to just keep stopping by the Condo to check and see if the room is ready or not. Mind you also we had 2 Condos so the experience was the same for ALL. The 4 person limit is a trap as well when you have sleeping space for at least 6 with a pull out sofa, king bed and queen bed. Noise Ordinance at 8/9pm also made us uncomfortable; felt like we had to constantly be on alert as to our noise level. With 33 Condos not being rented; only used by owners I can only imagine that some of them have more than 4 people at times. Something needs to be done with the Boat Trailer parking because it is very difficult to get a boat trailer parked in the designated trailer parking lot. This is one reason we prefer to stay at Slash Creek because we are able to leave our boat over the whole week and have easy access to it.

No for elderly

No bars in showers and beds are really tall so bring step stool the condo is clean and beautiful but between the beds and showers and toilets do not recommend for the disabled or elderly if your young go for it

Restful Vacation

Great!

I have been working on Ocracoke for over a month now and flew my family in to spend time with them. We stayed at one of these condos and was more then satisfied with the amenities provided. I would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed

Disappointed. We have stayed in the condo complex 3 other times. First time in this unit. Unit had not been dusted in a long time. Three lights were out in master bath. Just overall not impressed with this years accommodations. Beds not made on arrival and agency said that is what the owners elected. (yes, we reported to the agency the issues and they were not as responsive as I would expect. not planning to use them again)
