Are you looking for a sun and sand filled vacation at an affordable, Outer Banks oceanfront rental? Well look no further. One Particular Harbor is the perfect place for fun, romance and relaxation.

The Harbor is small, but the beach is wide! The 'Harbor' is a free-standing one-room efficiency cabana, decorated in Tommy Bahama/Margaritaville vibe. It is on the outside row of a cluster of forty small cabanas. Its features include a queen captain’s bed, a queen size pullout sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities of home. The maximum occupancy is three people. The Harbor has three outside decks, the top decks has an amazing ocean view! Recipe for the perfect beach getaway: Just add Rum!
You can take your morning coffee with you on a stroll along the beach. While away the days in the hunt for the perfect sea shells. Watch the dolphins play in and out of the waves. Rig up a fishing pole and talk fish tales with the locals. Or grab your surf board and catch the perfect wave.
You are at the end of the Outer Banks island chain with not a care in the world. Hatteras Time. Come and enjoy. Relax, leave your worries behind. It's all good on the water!

Loved our stay!!! Place was clean and welcoming. The only 2 things we would say we would have liked were that The outside light on the main balancy outside the door didn't work. And the chairs on the top balancy were the short Chairs not the tall ones so you couldn't see over the dunes, but we made do.

The room definitely could use a good deep clean. There is no beach view..there are other cabanas on every side of you. The tub drain was clogged. I was standing in water up to my ankles by the time i got done showering. The area around the trash can was NASTY and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. There is NO porch light. 2 of the steps on the stairway are loose. I will not stay tgere again.

The place could use a really good deep clean, but other than that it was a nice little spot for a couple of days at the beach! Check in was easy and the location was great.

The location was great and the bed was very comfortable. As advertised it is a small cabana but we were out and about most of the time so it was okay. We did experience difficulty with the lock when we arrived and had to contact the host but after several attempts and a prayer we finally got the lock to work. The host stated they will be replacing it soon.

Room was very clean, but toilet seat could use a replacement. Bed very comfortable but very high! The top deck chairs would have been better if the were bar height like most of the other units have, so you can see the bit of ocean when seated (no ocean view in normal Adirondack chairs). The stairs and top deck floors could use maintenance - some loose boards and nails.Small walk to a beautiful beach makes up for any shortcomings! Overall, a good budget getaway.

A nicely updated property that was a great perch for our time in Hatteras. The cabana community was nice with the beach steps away. We look forward to booking for next summer.

Exactly like the pictures and descriptions! Love the proximity to the beach and the ease of walking there. Great location to everything in the area. Perfect for a couple and will definitely be returning

I booked it specifically because it said there was a hot tub. There is no hot tub at all. I don’t know why that hasn’t been changed. I had to unplug the wifi to get the cable tv not to glitch. Wouldn’t have been an issue normally but I wanted to see the Olympics for an hour.

Location was fantastic! The bad: The cabana was a little worse for the wear than advertised. The room reeked of marijuana upon arrival which was very disappointing since this is a smoke free property. The host responded quickly when notified saying to air out the property and that it should work quick since it is so small. The cold air return filter looked like it hasn't been changed in a very long time. That may help with the smell. It took about 2 days for the smell to fully go away. The stairs and decking had some screws that were not all the way in, causing some foot scrapes. The outside light at the entrance was out. The screen in the bathroom window was torn. The good: Inside the cabana was in good shape. Nice little kitchen with supplies. Bed was comfy. Could hear the waves crashing on the beach with the sliding glass door open. Very close to the beach making it convenient for returning to the property for breaks in the day if needed.

I am sorry about the smell in the unit. It is a non-smoking unit. The previous renters obviously broke the rule and I cannot control that. I am happy the place aired out and you were still able to enjoy your stay.

Great stay!

This was a perfect space for a couple, right on the beach, quiet and relaxing. I msg the host prior to the trip & didn’t hear back which worried me a little but everything was great. Full kitchen was nice, check-in & out process was easy. Would definitely stay again, thank you for the hospitality!

We bought our first one, The Lost Shaker of Salt in 2007, purchased this second unit, One Particular Harbor in 2013. We got married up the road in Kill Devil Hills and One Particular Harbor by Jimmy Buffett was our wedding song. We are big Buffett fans and belong to the local Parrothead Club. Hatteras holds a very special place in our hearts. It is hard not to love it there. It is so beautiful, and so relaxing. It is like stepping back in time to a very friendly town like Mayberry, situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in our country.

With our first unit we were going for a fun in the sun, beach vacation. Jimmy would probably say we are “Growing Older, But Not Up.” For this second unit, we were going for the Margaritaville theme, done in a very stylish Tommy Bahama look. We think we accomplished that at One Particular Harbor. Come check us out, we know you will be pleased!
