Located in the highly desirable west shore of Donner Lake this quaint cabin has all of the charm Tahoe has to offer. Skiing at local resorts, shopping and dining in historic downtown Truckee, or hiking and biking on world class trails are all out your back door. Cozy up next to the fireplace or relax in the hot tub after a long day of adventures. Or just enjoy and play in the snow outside your front door. This one of a kind property backs up to 6 acres of undeveloped land with Donner Creek running through it. The cabin allows plenty of privacy while still being conveniently located within walking distance to a neighborhood cafe. It is truly a special place!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. It was well-equipped, peaceful, and made for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was easy. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable cabin retreat.

Wonderful Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. Very close to Boreal ski resort. Very clean and we felt right at home.

Great cabin

Lovely neighborhood and cabin thoughtfully stocked and decorated. It was fantastic to use the hot tub under the stars and surrounded by snow. Great location close to skiing, the lake, and Truckee.

Perfect stay

Loved the cabin, sweetly decorated, all that you’d need and PERFECT location to lake and ski. Responsive host, can’t wait to go back! (Perfect for a small family, kids loved the easy access to sledding in the back yard)

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. Property was in a great location. Tons of snow and the kids were able to play right outside the door in it. Beautiful property.

This was our 3rd time staying here for a reason. Britta is a fantastic host with great communication. The property is perfect for my family of four. Our kids, 11 and 12, love going down to the creek and playing in the snow. The hot tub is always clean and hot...perfect after a day on the slopes. The property is well appointed and the location is superb. We will be back again for sure!

Great mountain cabin

We loved it! Really cute mountain cabin in a great neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. House was warm and fire was great.

Great stay!

Perfect place for a quick weekend away with my daughters. The cabin is very sweet and cozy, plenty of games, puzzles, legos to keep the kids entertained on a snowy day. Fun backyard to play in the snow and super close to Donner ski ranch and Truckee. We will definitely be back for another stay. Maybe next time in the summer

Absolutely Perfect

What a special property on the creek. We will be back again for sure. The location is great, the cabin is well-appointed and clean. We had an absolutely perfect stay and Britta was fantastic.

Cozy Creekside Cabin

This was our 2nd time staying at this amazing property. Britta was a fantastic host once again with exceptional communication. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The location along Donner creek is peaceful and serene. Being able to sit in the hottub after a full day on the slopes is a real plus. We will stay here again for sure!

Excellent house and location

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is right next to a creek. We liked spending time in the. hot tub and spending time on the deck. We would love to come back.

Perfect

Wonderful place for a week of combined work and play. The house had everything we needed. Loved the forest views, hot tub, and wood fire. And many nice, personal touches including comfy beds. We can't wait to return.

Fantastic Getaway

The Cabin was everything VRBO had listed, and the owners were always available for any questions we had. A super quiet neighborhood less than a half mile from Donner Lake with hiking trails all around. Couldn’t have enjoyed a better weekend anywhere else. Can’t wait to come back!

quiet neighborhood

This was a nice little house in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the deck. Very clean and well stocked.

Cosy cabin in a great location

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin and we hope to come back for a longer stay later this year. The cabin was a perfect size for us and was filled with sunlight through all the windows. The location is fantastic in a quiet neighborhood and right next to a beautiful creek. It was very clean and had pretty much everything you would need to cook a meal.
