Cheerful decor, spacious rooms, and thoughtful touches in this renovated home in the historic Bates-Hendricks neighborhood make it perfectly suited for your trip to Indianapolis! Make yourself at home in this 2 story, spacious home, complete with a full kitchen, wi-fi, and laundry room. It's a 5 minute drive to Bankers Life, Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indianapolis Convention Center and all the downtown amenities. Also, a short walk to Fountain Square area for fantastic restaurants and night life.

The space
This home was originally built in 1920 and still retains much of it's vintage charm! The location makes it a breeze to get downtown or to one of the other cultural districts for nightlife and activities. This space and location is ideal for families or groups of friends who are coming into town to explore the city or go to an event. The home accommodates 6 comfortably. There are enough beds and air mattresses to sleep 9 at the maximum, for groups looking for an economic choice, but please note that there is only one full bathroom (and one half bathroom) and the living areas are setup for smaller groups.

Guest access
Guests are able to access the main floor, which consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, main floor bathroom/laundry room, as well as the upstairs which consists of 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The basement is off-limits for guests.

Dianne was a sweetheart about a preparation error on my part, however, I didn't hear a peep out of her after we finished the unfinished. All guests, reach out to us(hosts) we will meet your standards even if its correcting something to do so.

This property was conveniently located 1.5 miles away from the convention center my daughter’s volleyball team was playing at for a tournament so the drive to and from was quick and easy. The house was also right across the street from a convenience store and a gyro & Indian food truck which helped when we arrived in the evening to grab something to eat. Clinton, the host was very responsive and answered my questions quickly.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating and when we had a problem with our first location he put us in another place same day no problem. I appreciate his flexibility and his ability to adapt for us.

I stayed with a group of friends for Gen con. Pros:- it was very close the convention center. About a 30 min walk. Or if you want to uber/lyft it’s less than 10 which is cheaper than parking- Plenty of street parking at the house- owner was very communicative and responded to all of our needs and concerns. For example when we needed dish soap, he came by and dropped it off. When the bathtub drain got clogged, he came by to drano it. Cons:- This is definitely an older house (read description), the main areas were clean but there was some paint chipping, some of master bed frame posts were broken, the chain for the light in the back broke off when used, bathtub was draining slow. - the walls are thin- circumstances that happened during our stay that may be unique but was addressed by the owner: because the wall are thin we heard a domestic dispute from the neighbors next door, there was a storm and the basement had water leakingIn summary, this is a convenient place to stay for the con. The house could use updates and renovating. Clint was very communicative and that was helpful.

Great location

House was perfect for our stay near downtown, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Everything was smoot, no complaints. Definitely would stay again.

House is old, but in decent shape despite it and the unit was clean. Amenities stated were provided and beds were quite comfortable. The owner/manager was very nice and responsive. The property is part of a side by side, so there are neighbors and the road/traffic noise was awful especially for sleeping in the king bedroom which faces the street. If you are used to noise, probably not an issue, and ear plugs would help. Property was a 5-10 minute uber ride to the Indiana Convention Center, and the coffee shop down the street from the house was great!

Great weekend stay!

We were in town for a 3 day competition at Lucas Oil and the location was convenient with very inexpensive Uber/Lyft options. It was walkable, but the weather was hot and we chose not to. The beds were comfortable and the temperature was easy to adjust. The space was nice to hang out in!

Charming

Good location in Bates-Hendricks area

This would be a great place for 4-6 college buddies to stay for a game. A lot of space. Short walk to Fountain Square, a bit longer to downtown Indy but still walkable. The unit is a bit rough around the edges, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. Small things could use a little TLC to easily make this place a 5-start property

Spacious duplex with character

We enjoyed staying in this neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and Garfield park. The house shows it's age and has a few quirks but it didn't impact our stay in any major way.

Had a weekend stay to attend a Colts game. Older property, but well kept and clean. Close to downtown. Property owner was responsive. Overall a good value.

Perfect location for downtown stay

Close to town, nice house (oldie but a goodie). Across the street from a convenience store . One note - not a complaint - you are close to a highway and bedrooms are upstairs, so bring a sound machine or ear plugs and a sleep mask.

Great location and space for what we needed

We we went to Monster Energy Supercross at Lucas Oil Stadium. The distance is walkable, we walked one leg and took a Lyft the other. House was spacious enough so my teen could have time to himself in one of the bedrooms. My kids first time in a VRBO.

affordable no frills good location

My friend and I met here with our two teens as it’s half way between where we live. House is within walking distance of cute restaurants (daiquiri factory, coffee shop and burger place). Very close to downtown - dog friendly neighborhood (coffee shop gave him treats). House is spacious and comfy but it’s very basic so if you need fancy wouldn’t recommend. It was budget friendly and fun area so perfect for what we were looking for. Owner also very responsive.

Convenient to Indiana Convention Center

Clinton was good to work with. He responded to texts quickly if we had a question. We came into town for the MEQ volleyball tournament. Parking at the house was easy as was getting to the convention center which was about 1.5 miles away. The house was older but quaint and aside from having only one shower, our stay was just fine.
