Unfortunately, we only were able to stay one night. We all agreed this place was amazing and wished we could have stayed longer! Boys loved fishing off the dock, the views were incredible, and we felt right at home for our family of 6

This property is amazing and exceeded our expectations! We were a group of three 50ish ladies who were in the area for wine tasting and enjoying the Finger Lakes area. The views from the large windows are absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the large decks and being able to relax and enjoys our coffee and the sunrise in the mornings. It is conveniently located to Ithaca and many wineries along Cayuga Lake. The home is exceptionally clean, well maintained and equipped. The decor is modern and homey. The host communicated well and in a timely manner. We loved our stay and are already planning a return trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was extremely organized and communicative, and provided us with everything we needed to know before and during our stay. The check-in guide was especially helpful and included so many great recommendations for local restaurants and activities.The house was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a short drive from downtown Ithaca. One of our favorite parts was waking up to gorgeous sunrises over the lake — and even getting to see the Cornell rowing team out on the water at sunrise was such a special treat!We also loved spending time out on the dock enjoying the beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home!

We had an awesome time even with rainy days. The view is awesome as was the communication with the owners. The house was spotless and well stocked. God willing we will return!

Carolyn is an excellent host - great communication and helpful. The house is fabulous. Very clean and well-equipped on a gorgeous property right on the lake. We only stayed for one night, but what a place for an extended stay! We did a little three-winery tour in the afternoon; checked in; five minute drive to downtown Ithaca and walk around before dinner on the commons; fabulous evening on the deck; and ten minutes from a morning hike at Taughannock state park the next morning. Simple checkout process. Pro tip - approach the driveway from the south of you can. It has quite an angle coming from the north, as the geography provides a short but steep slope on an amazingly and intentionally constructed driveway to get to the house on the lake. This is our Ithaca “forever stay.”Thanks Carolyn!

Our family had an amazing stay at this lake house. The property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with a stunning lake access that made the entire trip feel relaxing and memorable. We loved having access to the canoes and spending time by the water during the day, then ending the night around the fire pit making memories together. The house itself was very spacious, extremely clean, DOG FRIENDLY, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. This is definitely a place to remember! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family or friends!

This lakeside home was a perfect place for our family during our final stay in Ithaca for college graduation. A beautiful spot on Lake Cayuga. The house was very clean, and the amenities were perfect for our family wanting to rest and enjoy the weekend and not needing to go out to a restaurant and enjoy our time at "home" instead. YES, there are many stairs to get to the house and to the water, but when you are situated on a lake formed by glaciers, this is to be expected. If we ever come back to Ithaca to visit, we will stay here again.

The house was very clean when we arrived. You could tell right away that the host spent a lot of time making it easier for those renting to understand the workings of the home.

Lovely cottage on Cayuga

Great views, nicely equipped, very welcoming and comfortable. Many stairs, but doable for this 70+ year old. Really enjoyed our stay.

We are so glad you found our house welcoming and comfortable. The main attraction is certainly the "great views." They do come with stairs on the west shore of Cayuga Lake. Future tenants, if this sounds doable to you as well, please try our property.

Scenic Lakeside Home

A comfortably renovated property with an amazing view of the lake. Access to canoes and kayaks was an added benefit.

We work hard to keep our property updated so thank you for acknowledging that it is comfortable and renovated. This year we bought a new oven, new BBQ and put in an entire new upstairs bathroom. And yes, the views are amazing!
