Or stay inside and enjoy a nice relaxing night by the fire as you watch a movie. Turn dinner time into a bonding time—our open-layout kitchen is stocked with essentials to whip up a fantastic meal any time of the day.

There are two units stacked on one another. They are completely separated from one another. Each has their own entrance.

At any given time, both units can be occupied. It is important to remain respectful and courteous with everyone who stays at The Ridge Retreat.

Great stay while our poor dog was at Cornell

Our plans were fluid and they acoomodated our check in and check out day change without charge. The place fit us perfectly. One night was spent with 1 dog and we were able to spend rhe second night wirh both dogs. There were bowls for dogs, coffee utensils and all the things we needed. Nice size yard for dogs to do their duty and hang outside as well. Close to busy road so we kept them on a tight leash. We enjoyed our stay and if we need to bring our dog again and stay we will stay again.

Beautifully appointed home near Ithaca

Property is a carefully renovated mid-century home, very thoroughly and tastefully appointed throughout. Huge back yard, beautiful view of hayfield and deer out the front window. Very available/receptive owners. Property is only about 15 minutes from Ithaca with its attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Relaxing Family Weekend

Parents weekend at Cornell was the reason for our stay. We’re already planning our next weekend here. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, and so relaxing. Check in and check out was extremely easy. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Excellent location

The main part of the house is great and clean. The bedrooms need a few touchups but the rooms are all very clean and fresh. The water pressure and temperature is excellent. Eric was wonderful answering all of our questions. I would recommend staying her understanding that the house is a little older but very clean and comfortable. The kitchen,dining area and living room and deck were excellent. There was some road noise in two of the bedrooms which Eric is addressing. Worth your stay

Ridge Retreat #1

The house suited our needs and check-in/out was easy. Location was close to Cornell University which was our reason for visiting. The furnishings and decor are modern and stylish. The sheets smelled really nice. Only a couple of small things that you can't tell from the online listing - the house is very close to the main road and it's an old house so the windows are original which means you can hear the traffic at night. I did notice there are sound machines in the two front bedrooms however I didn't discover this until we were leaving. I'd suggest putting a label on the sound machines so people know what they're for. I also couldn't tell if any of the outlets in the bedrooms were working to charge my phone at night.

great place to get away

this property met all of our needs for a comfortable base and was convenient to explore the Ithaca area. House is well equipped with everything you would need and more. There is a very pleasant, screened deck with table/chairs and great firepit below. Nice spot to take a break or to relax at the end of the day. Owners were quick to respond and most helpful with any questions we had.

Beautiful home in the countryside. In town for a wedding and the house was within 6 minutes of the venue. Exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Would stay in again. Owners were extremely accommodating to our needs.

Cozy stay with friends

The place looks just as nice as the pictures. The house was super clean. The beds were super comfy. The outdoor fire pit and deck are great to enjoy with friends. The records to play were a cozy touch to enjoy with friend. The kitchen has everything you need. Perry for a long weekend stay. Eric is awesome he was super quick to respond when we had a hiccup with check in. I also forgot something at the house and they were right away able to find my stuff. Me and all my friends would stay here again.

Great 2 Day Stay

The home was awesome and conveniently located near to Cornell. The owner responded promptly to any questions I had. Everything was organized, clean and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely try to stay here again.

Good

It was good overall. The cleaning was just ok. Bugs in the tub but that’s not a huge deal. The property is cute. Management was easy to communicate with and nice. We were all comfortable in the house. There were some neighbors that showed up in the additional rental in the house and they were very loud but it was only one night so we just dealt with it.

Quiet, stylish retreat minutes from Downtown Ithaca

Mid-century meets modern in a cute, quiet retreat only minutes by car to downtown Ithaca. My friends and I booked it to have quiet time before hiking the gorges and touring Cornell University. Great location if you want quiet but proximity to parks and wineries.

Quick weekend trip

Eric and Justin were awesome hosts! We especially appreciated their quick and informative emails and reminders since our trip was sandwiched into a very busy few days of traveling. Having their immediate input meant easy in and easy out. Beds were extremely comfortable and everything worked well and easily accessible. Thank you!!

The perfect house to stay at Ithaca!

Beautiful house ,it was a pleasant stay, very clean with all the amenities a big or small family would need, the host Eric & Justin were very attentive and 100% with communication to answer any questions or suggestions, hope to be back and definitely will stay again.

Perfect all around!

We had a great stay! Our family of five was completely comfortable in the house and had more than enough space to sprawl out and enjoy our stay. The house was super cute with the great decor, a little modern and a little retro. Beds were incredibly comfy and the bathrooms were updated and bright (great for applying make-up)! Hosts were courteous and attentive. Enthusiastic 5 stars all around!

We're two childhood friends who had the crazy idea of buying a lakehouse together. I'm Eric, I am who you will primarily be communicating with. My partner Justin is also available. Together, we make up PapiBNB.

This house is years in the making. We've always dreamed about having an escape away from the East Coast pace where we could just relax and unwind, even for a long weekend. After years of planning, we were finally able to do it.

We agonized about every detail of this home to make it feel like a home away from home for us. A place we would want to personally stay. No detail too small. If you saw what this home looked like before we bought it, you wouldn't believe it. Now a days, we just hope it's a stay you will never forget.
