Hale Kai 208 is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as an oceanfront lanai, vaulted ceilings, and ceiling fans. This condo does not have A/C. Located on the second floor, this unit can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests with a King bed in the master bedroom, a Queen bed in the guest bedroom, and a Queen sleeper sofa in the main living space. Please note this property does not have elevators. The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, modern furniture with beachy decorations, and a large flat-screen TV. Ceiling fans are equipped throughout the unit to help stay cool.

Relax and unwind with a King-size bed in the master bedroom and a large flat-screen TV. The master guest bathroom features a tile walk-in shower. Located upstairs in the loft guest bedroom, is a Queen-size bed. The ensuite guest bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. Enjoy the oceanfront view from the comforts of your private lanai with a dining table for 4 and a lounge chair. Dine al fresco while hearing the sound of the beach waves and take in the beautiful sights of Maui. Wonderful Kaanapali/Napili condo

We had a wonderful stay in this condo in August 2024. Located right next to a beach park with beautiful water, full of fish and sea turtles. Close to little shops for quick food/coffee trips. Perfectly located on the Kaanapalu/Napili neighborhoods. Clean, in a nicely maintained condo building with direct access to the beach and a nice summing pool.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The Good: Beach access is fantastic. The master bedroom has plenty of space and a comfortable bed. The Bad: The door to the master bedroom is broken and barely hanging on to the hinges. At this point, just take the door off because it doesn't work because as it is apparent someone tried to fix it previously. Becaue this is a hollow-core door, is lightweight and flimsy so there are limited options to 'fix' it. When I reported it I was told they were made aware after the previous stay, but I find this difficult to believe as it appears to have been 'fixed' several times. The Ugly: Understanding it's a tropical climate and they communicated the chance for bugs in their welcome emails, we made sure to put food in the cabinets or the refrigerator. How, then, would a cockroach be in a loft in a 2nd floor unit? Still, I get there are bugs in a tropical climate. What I don't get and what I'm not comfortable with is mice. I chose this place because the reviews were generally positive and cleanliness was rated highly. I didn't notice the mouse trap or mouse dropping until a mouse was caught under the sink causing a commotion. When I contacted management and stated I figured they must have already been aware I was simply thanked for notifying them. The proximity to the park and beach are nice, but not at the expense of cleanliness and basic upkeep.

Not as pictured

Condo was dated and needed repairs . Half the electricity went out our last 2 days and couldn’t be repaired . Did not look as good as pictures portrayed it. Was nice location and on a small beach and nice pool area . Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Was definitely not worth the price we paid however. I would have expected more for the price. Probably would not stay there again .

My Perfect Stays is a first rate host! Everything that they could do was done perfectly. As a guest or if I was an owner...a better choice then them does not exist on Maui. I wholeheartedly recommend them if you desire time on Maui with as few problems as possible.

PERFECT LOCATION

Great condo, clean and perfectly furnished. has everything you need from dishes, pots & pans, beach chairs/umbrella and ice chest. This condo is located right next to a park/beach, close to coffee shop, grocery store, restaurants.

Wonderful Stay

We had such a wonderful stay here. This was our first time to Maui and first time traveling with our kids! We knew we needed space and this gave us just that. Not to mention incredible views from the balcony and the pool area. Having the beach just outside the condo was magical and made for convenient evening swimming with the littles! Same goes for the pool area which is open till 9!!

The way to go!!

Our trip to Maui was made even more pleasant by the accomodations at the condo at Hale Kai! The incredible location, close to so many great beaches and restaurants and the best of all...the pool to relax in after a day filled with outings! The condo was comfortable with everything that was needed to make it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely look forward to returning as this was nothing less than My Perfect Stay!

Great place to finish visiting the Hawaiian islands!

We were a group of 4, 2 couples and everyone loved the stay in Hale Kai. The condo is beautifully appointed enough kitchen tools, bath and beach towels, 4 newer beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and a large cooler. Loved the location, being next to the park gave a more open feeling. The views from the lanai/patio were great of the ocean. Great place to watch the ocean and have a morning coffee. The pool area was great for watching sea turtles, and whales frolicking in the ocean. To swim in the ocean it was easy access just a few steps from the pool. The complex is older but well maintained, the inside of unit has been updated with more than enough space for 4 adults.

We enjoyed our stay. Condo is beautiful. Location is great. Our only dislike was the beach park next to the condo can be a little loud- weekends.

Great location.

Amazing location. Also the pool at the condominium was amazing. Inside was nice and accurate to the listing. Having no AC for the first two days was rough, especially being in the loft so that was a con, but other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Great location

Loved the location. Condo was clean, kitchen stocked with utensils, plates,pans, coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave. Towels were nice ≠w, large beach towels for everyone. Great communication from owner and managing company my perfect stays. No AC but when you're right on the beach you don't need it the fans and open windows are enough. Absolutely loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean.

Pros and Cons - will not re-book here

I have mixed feelings after staying at this location. The location on the island was great, and allowed us ease of travel to many beaches and restaurants. We planned on eating out the majority of the time we were there, but the unit itself had the basics if we had decided to cook simple meals. The towels that were provided to us weren't great and unfortunately many of them were stained and had an awful odor. There were many nights in which other residents were extremely loud, partying into all hours of the night, and even heard many arguments in the parking lot. This is not that way most people want to enjoy a vacation. Since this unit does not have AC, you are pretty much only able to sleep with windows open for air flow, which in turn leads you to hearing just about everything. We would not be staying at this unit again in the future, and will look to stay elsewhere.

Ocean front condo

This condo has one bedroom with bathroom on main floor as well as a loft bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom. Suitable for 6 people with the pullout couch. Great location within walking distance of grocery stores, food, beaches and walking. The condo has its own private beach as well as ocean side pool. Second time visiting and would love to go yearly. Also has great system for garbage, recycling and parking. All in all a very great safe and amazing location that I would recommend to all ages. The condo is clean and has most things you will need to have a great stay!

GLASSES PLEASE!!

There were very few drinking glasses and wine glasses. Don't like drinking wine out of a coffee cup! Also patio blind needs repair. Otherwise very nice. Good view.

Great vacation and location

The condo was so clean with a great beach vibe. Bedroom and bathroom//shower on each floor, provided nice privacy for my family. Beach is steps from condo. When I wasn't at beach I was sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the ocean. Condo is equipped with every utensil you need and plenty of provided Beach chairs. Everything about the condo was high quality from the chairs, appliances, and also very clean. Restaurants , coffee shops, and the grocery store was all in walking distance, My family had a great tme and I cant wait to go back.
