This was a nice property in a good location and very well stocked. However, it’s obviously an older unit and is in need of some updating and cosmetic repair.

The apartment could use a deep clean and some maintenance done but overall satisfied! The pool and beach were both amazing, great location! Would definitely stay again.

Great location, great view and super quick and easy access to the beach. The condo was roomy enough for our family of five. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were there in winter so we didn’t use the pool but it was a short walk away. We would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

We had a great stay - very nicely decorated townhouse with convenient walk to the beach! We would definitely consider staying again when in the Charleston area!

Perfect place to stay

Property location perfect for enjoying the pool and beach. We had windy days, so took advantage of a lot of tourist activities, all of which were an easy drive away. Home has everythingyou need and 3 bathrooms were fabulous!

Great location

Location was wonderful but condo could use a good cleaning especially in the bathrooms. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Family beach vacation

We had a great stay at Mariner’s walk and my kids (4yrs and 22mos) had an incredible time. This house was perfect for a family vacation, and for proximity to the beach and pool for little ones and families. With a few baby equipment rentals, we felt right at home.

Excellent

Loved the property, location to the beach and Isle of Palms. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would say, is to please add a mattress topper to the beds to make them softer.

Overall the location was good. There were a few minor issues; the keypad on the door was a little confusing but Alex was very helpful to explain, our first night the smoke detector batteries were weak and they began randomly beeping, and then the master toilet stopper began not sealing and would sporadically run water for a few seconds, and the downstairs bedroom fan was wobbly & noisy. But after talking with Alex he sent his maintenance guy Ben over the next morning and everything was fixed. Also the condo is aged with creaky upstairs floors & stairs and the mattresses are needing updated asap, not comfortable. The condo though served the purpose of having a go to condo near the pool and easy access to the beach. The 1 reserved parking spot also is very tight between 2 support posts but most of the complex parking spots were that way. But there is guest parking close by. All in all it worked out for us.

Perfect size for our family of 6. It was an easy access to the beach, but had to do some walking. Grocery store and places to eat wasn’t too far away. Condo needs new couch for sure! The flow would be better if the two twin beds were upstairs and master down. I wish we would have rented a golf cart to drive around the isle of palms area, but it was perfect location! We loved the deck in the evenings!

Poorly maintained property but location excellent.

Bedding and pillows visibly stained. There was mold on shower curtain and a used towel was left hanging in one bathroom. There was visible rot and decay in primary bedroom window. There were uncovered electrical outlets. The lamp shades, dining table chairs and chairs in living room were all stained. The bedding was poor quality to include lumpy pillows and uncomfortable king sized mattress. We do have pictures if necessary to share.

family get away

We had a great stay and would without a doubt rebook this property. The condo was right on the beach and was super clean when we arrived. In fact I had to complement the property manager and housekeeping soon after we arrived. one nice touch was there were a few bath towels provided in each bathroom and bedding along with a starter pack of bathroom essentials. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions I had. The condo was nicely decorated cozy and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day on the beach. Each bedroom had its own TV, this was a plus for us having young adult kids along. The only con I can think of is the downstairs bedroom has two twin beds with a footboard attached. Not a problem if you have younger smaller kids but a little two small for my older children. They were fine and didn't complain about being two big for the bed. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking essentials. I can't really find anything negative. I will definitely book this property again in the future.

The location was good. The outdoor deck had a great table and was roomy. The pool was large but the gates slammed and were disturbing. There was no bike rack or anywhere to secure outdoor items. We could have taken our cart upstairs but not 4 bikes. The condo was somewhat outdated. Although the appliances were new. Our door lock never quite worked correctly. We were never certain it locked. It took awhile to figure out the WiFi connection which may have been on us but it would be helpful to have had clearer instructions. The biggest problem was the floors upstairs creaked. If anyone wanted to go to bed early when others went upstairs it woke them up. Same for morning. When the first person got up everyone woke up. Neither one of our vehicles could park in the designated space. We enjoy isle of Palms but will not stay at Mariner’s walk.

Glass sliding door jams and doesn’t slide good. Bathroom floors were a little dirty and need to be updated. Pool was very nice.

A lovely stay

This was a wonderful stay. The location was perfect and the condo was lovely. The decor was nice and relaxing. The back deck had a great view. A short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the pool (which does close as dusk FYI). Through no fault of the property owner, housekeeping did leave a nice sized load of clean dishes in the dishwasher and a huge load of towels in the dryer which i didn't care for due to the fact I was on vacation and didnt want to do kitchen and laundry. It was a great stay overall.
