This newly remodeled cottage features open concept common area with fully stocked kitchen. Nestled on historic Bayou Lafourche, you are in for a special treat with everything from the serene slow moving water, to walking in the tranquil shade of a large cedar tree. Don’t be surprised if you sight bald eagles, rabbits, herons, turtles, and other local wildlife here.

This 3 bed, 2 bath beautifully remodeled cottage and thoughtful amenities all around gives each person staying a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. The whole place is your temporary haven!

Perfect house on the bayou!

The house was cozy, very clean, and decorated perfectly! My family of 5 stayed at this location to visit our eldest daughter/first grand child who lives in Raceland. The owners were very helpful with all of our questions and were very kind! Everything that was needed (fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, cleaning supplies, etc) was there and easily accessible - all you need are a few groceries! We were very impressed with this location and looking forward to coming back!

Not what I was hoping for!

The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches and was trying to get rid of them. VRBO got involved and I got a little bit of a refund. My "short" trip to LA was ruined. I had to find a kennel for my dogs, and a new place to stay. This rental requires you to purchase insurance. There are several levels. I got the cheapest. If I would have got a better one, the owner told me, I could have been refunded. Long story short, if a place MAKES you get insurance RUN!!!!!

Luke communicated with us quicky and his property was good for adults and children. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely keep his rental in mind for our next trip to Louisiana

The property was great! A nice clean little cottage in a great neighborhood.

My family loved this little house. There was plenty of room for our family of 7. Would definitely book again. Our host was promo and got right back to us when we messaged. So glad to have had the opportunity to stay here.

Wonderful bayou side home

We stayed here for a week visiting family in the area. The home is in a great location. The home was clean and great price for this rental. This home is not too far from grand isle and New Orleans. The home owner very responsive to all questions. Will definitely rent again when back in the area.

Late June stay

Clean, stocked with basic essentials like dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. has 2 full beds, 2 twin and a sleeper sofa. Close to highway 90, Houma and Thibodaux.
