Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Spacious family friendly home with indoor fireplace, covered patio relaxing hammock, work space and playroom. Many other amenities designed for your comfort and enjoyment.
Guest access
Guest can enjoy a large back yard with a covered patio hammock dining area BBQ grill. Inside of the home guest have the convenience of a washer dryer and fireplace. Enjoy some music on the alexa or just relax and watch TV. If your stay is work related there is a workspace upstairs as well as a play area for the kids.

There are security cameras located on the exterior of the property and in separate locked garage storage space. I have had a past guest to unlock a secured space during their stay and remove items, so if you have any questions about the property feel free to message me for information.

work trip

We are doing a work project in the area and rented this home. It has worked out great for us. Owner is easy to get in contact with if you need anything. We will rent again.

dirty house; yard unusable, unsafe. Complained to owner, she told us her legal counsel advised her to ask us to leave. We did receive a full refund, but were left with 2 toddlers screaming in the car while we searched for a last minute replacement accommodation. Bad business for VRBO.

Mouse In The House

Title says it all. House was a mess at arrival . Had not been cleaned in very long time. Cabinets filthy, black dust out of every vent. Dishes/silverware thrown in the cabinet, cleaned?? No laundry soap for linen, again sheets cleaned?? Bugs/mosquitoes smashed on the wall. Mouse droppings on carpet & kitchen counter. Worst part: a mouse ran across home to master bedroom & climbed into the master bed. Stripped sheets, went to Lowe’s bought traps. Awoken around midnight by noises in bathroom. Found mouse caught in the trap, & had to dispose of it myself. Contacted owner, Kim, told her about the situation, she asked how to make it right. I requested refund for the night. Said she would investigate, but later argued she’d refund the cost of the night, but no fees, a $70 difference. I pushed for refund for the night including the fees but she declined. VRBO was great, problem was escalated to supervisors, they refunded me their fees and a partial refund of the cleaning fee. Kim continued, to the very end, to refuse to refund me my true cost for the 1 night, even though I caught a mouse in her home for her. Blown away at unwillingness to see & understand what the renters were going through. I wish I could post photos of conditions & mouse on website for future renters, because this is not a home that should be listed for rent. RENTERS BEWARE, owner is beyond difficult. I highly recommend you do not rent this property.

Better than a motel...

Property lacked attention to detail. Visible damage from use and finishes not well installed. More than a few light bulbs need replacing. Bed in master suite was a full size not a queen as stated in property description. Near a sugar mill so many early, loud trucks during sugarcane harvest season. Traffic makes getting out of driveway hard. Crusty stains on carpet. Kitchen not well appointed. No wine opener. Fairly clean but could be much better. Bottom of a list of 10 VRBOs so far.

Stay in Thibodaux

This house is as described. The owner has added a new bbq grill. We had an ac issue she had fixed promptly and got us dinner for the inconvenience. This home is large enough for to accommodate us on our stay in Thibodaux. I would rent again.

This house holds lots of charm and great memories for us. We are hopeful that you can make your own memories to take forward with you. We enjoy laying around in the hammock or swinging on the tree swing. The open concept makes it easy to relax and still maintain privacy.

The convenience of the local grocery store less than a half mile from the house as well as places to grab a quick bite to eat makes this a great location. The house is within minutes of all the local highlights and an hour to New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
