Incomparable Breathtaking Oceanfront 'House by the Sea' 5 bdrms + 3 bathrooms

Thank you so much Annette for the 5-star review. At our wonderful antique oceanfront homeFireworks Week is the most spectacular week of the year. Huge fireworks glittering and cascading over the house, over the beach, and dotting the encircling arm of the cape, each village blasting the sparkling drama into the air. Just incredible, and you had the rare experience, we are so glad! Next best is getting to stay at House by the Sea when the full moon rises up out of the vast ocean, like a scene from a sci-fi movie. What an incredibly rare spot on our incredible blue Planet. I think people forget that this same Hollywood moon rises out of the ocean throughout the year, not just summer, and strolling the sugar sand beach with a Polartec vest is super-enjoyable, feeling like the only person on the coastline, just you and mind bending Mother Nature.

Such great guests on a marine biology quest (fulfilled!) A pleasure to have you stay at House by the Sea in September (our best weather all year!) Hope to see you again for more time around the oceanfront in-lawn fire pit with panoramic views of the sea. Thanks again! - Robin

Hello PC, thank you kindly for the sweet review. We are grateful for your choosing House by the Sea in its verdant, vintage neighborhood (Manomet Bluffs) on the ocean. I agree, it is very special to experience a full moon rising out of the ocean, reflected in the sea. And that SUN rising out of the ocean is poetic! So happy you were able to relax and de-stress (thanks, spell-check robot, for translating that to "distress." ) The newly built section of stairs added nice landings and benches maybe they added extra steps, too as last count it was 110. At beach level, the views are mighty fine, but from the house and lawn, the view is spectacular, we agree! Thank you!

What a delightful guest. My "House by the Sea" is owned by me last time I checked, but if the Singer family lived in the beautiful yesteryear neighborhood in the past, that would be of interest. They have never owned my house, as far as I've heard. So glad you had a great time and we look forward to welcoming you again. It is an incredible location, the steps are long - but they are NOT steep. All steps must be built to the Town building code, and code does not allow steps to be steep, but must meet the same construction tread/riser proportion as the steps in any home. There are just more of them. But there are 2 landings with built in benches if you want to stop, on the way up, and take in the Hawaii-like view. And yes, Historic Plymouth is a great destination, and Manomet Bluffs, (this little berg inside of Plymouth) is quaint, yesteryear and charming.
