We had a terrific time at Tahoe Donner. The cabin was supplied with everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable. A friend who stayed with us for a couple nights said,”It doesn’t feel like other VRBOs we’ve stayed in, it feels like we’re staying in someone’s home.” A few small things came up while we were there, including a power outage. The host, Dennis, was helpful and quick to respond. The cabin is also in a great location, near everything Tahoe has to offer. We’ll be back!

Note that the house has 2 bathrooms, not three, as shown in the listing. Other than that, we were very pleased with the house. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean.

Surprise at 4 stars since we have been receiving five stars for past year. Would appreciate why you rated cabin as only 4 stars so we can make additional improvement to make if 5 star in your opinion. We have made over $20,000 improvements over past three years. We appreciate your review but are disappointed why you did not explain reason for 4 stars after we made special accommodations for you

Great location close to Tahoe donner and easy drive to Truckee. House was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. There was tons of firewood for the cozy wood stove. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Good supply of soap, shampoos etc. Al we needed was SNOW!
