Full luxury in breathtaking natural beauty. Remote and private. So quiet you can hear your heart beat. At night, no city lights disturb your view of the star-studded sky.
From this 1,475 square foot Casita, you'll enjoy panoramic 360-degree views: Abiquiu Lake, miles of mesas, rolling hills, and the magnificent red cliffs surrounding the famous Ghost Ranch. To the south you'll see the 10,000-foot mountain known as El Pedernal, which Georgia O'Keefe made famous in her paintings, along with much of the near landscape.
Our Casita was built in 2008, and designed by a local architect in a southwestern yet modern style. It's fully furnished for comfort. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a Bosch gas stove with heavy gauge grills for those who really love to cook.
Check out the Master bathroom: you can choose between a slate shower or a deep soaking tub to soothe your body after an invigorating hike in the nearby Jemez Mountains. Besides the 2 bedrooms, each with Queen beds, there is a Full Size Air Mattress RAISED Inflatable Bed with Built-in High Capacity Airbed Pump and Fitted Sheets with Bed Skirt for use in the Great Room overlooking the lake.

This property is incredible. The views of the valley and mountains, as well as Ghost Ranch and the Mesa will definitely amaze you. Catch the sunrise and the sunset. See the stars and the Milky Way! The house was fully stocked and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home for your next visit to NM.

The views from the house atop the mesa felt like you could see for miles and were simply stunning! Unlike anything else we have seen, whether it was sunrise or sunset. Our flight was delayed and Larry was a great communicator, giving us tips on where to stop for groceries and was so helpful in all ways. Truly a wish list place to stay.

The views at the property are better than you can imagine. Stunning. The stars are amazing and its quiet. Really quiet. The house is comfortable. and well appointed with everything you will need to have a great stay. The location is remote, but Bode's General Store is close and they have ice cream among other essentials. Being out first time to see the New Mexico landscape it was awesome and would do it again. We recommend making the drive to Pilar for one of the Rio Grande Gorge river raft trips. Was beautiful. Lastly, Prarie Dogs.

Absolutely lived up to the description and more. This home is so thoughtfully stocked with everything my small family could need for a long weekend getaway. The views left us awe struck and in a state of vacation bliss. The rock maze was such a cool touch. Would absolutely stay here again and again.

This house was incredible! We were overwhelmed with its location and the quietness of the neighborhood. Can't really describe it as it was much more incredible than we expected. It was just beautiful! Larry was great and there were no issues. If you are thinking about staying at this property, just do it as you will not be disappointed.

Communications with the host were clear and easy to set up the rental, all information at the house (instructions for woodstove, etc) were easy, the location is a amazing, and the house has a clean positive energy.

Beautiful house with a view
We had a great extended weekend stay and were very impressed by the house and the architecture that takes great advantage of the view of Lake Abiquiu. The fire pit area is a fantastic place to take in the scenery and the night sky. Very comfortable and lovely place to spend a vacation!
