Just what was needed

Milton was heading to Florida and my husband wanted me, our son, my mother and mother in law to head out of town. I knew I did not want to go to Atlanta and found this gem. I had never heard of Lake Oconee but that is where we headed. GPS got us right to this quaint lakeside home. It was just as described, clean and comfortable. We woke up to a beautiful lake. The neighborhood was very quiet. Our host was very responsive to my questions and the location is close to a Publix and other stores. The towns in the area are not "touristy" and lovely. As someone that lives in a very congested area, it was amazing to not be stuck in traffic and people in the area are lovely. Very nice area and home.

A wonderful house!

This is such a lovely property— we have stayed here twice. The house is quaint, cozy, clean, and very comfortable for a family. We had two adults and four teens and we all felt comfortable. The location on the lake is beautiful. We spent hours sitting on the front porch drinking coffee, reading, chatting, enjoying wine. It was even beautiful when it rained. Very convenient location to stores and shops. Quiet and peaceful. Would love stay next year too! Perfect week at the lake!

Lovely stay, great location

All five adults enjoyed our trip to this property. We also brought a 20 ft Tahoe that tied up nicely to the new dock (dock has boat whips too). The gradual steps on the dock into the water were a nice addition so we weren’t struggling to get in and house. Tons of large fish caught right off the dock. Great location on Oconee with expansive sunset views. Home had all we needed. Enjoyed our week stay.

Great Location!

It was perfect place to relax on the lake. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The dock was great for our boat and also to swim from. We plan to return in the future.

Great location on Lake Oconee

Property is exactly as described in a lovely location on Lake Oconee! Extremely clean and equipped with anything you need to enjoy your stay and simply relax! Perfect location!

We loved our stay at Lake Oconee. The view from the house was perfect (sunsets every night!). The house was well appointed - we wanted for nothing. Would definitely return!

Weekend getaway

What a lovely location on a Lake Oconee! This home was exactly as described Plus lots of extras for guests to feel completely at home and comfortable! It’s location is quiet & private and within 10 minutes to Marinas, Restaurants, Shopping and Golf. We spent many hours relaxing on the screened in porch enjoying the lake views, boating activity and evening sunsets! The new dock is a wonderful addition to this home with deep water perfect for running and jumping in! We’ve been coming to lake Oconee for years and this location was the best for us thus far! We’ve already booked to return with our boys this summer! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend getaway!!

Long weekend at the Lake

Lovely house, more like a home than a rental. Everything you need except for the food. Take the time to sit quietly on a screened porch, it is worth the rest.

Lake Oconee getaway

Masters practice

Cabin was perfect for a Masters visit. A little over an hour to the Augusta. Close enough, yet still able to enjoy some quiet. And, restaurants at Oconee Lake and Madison were not slammed.

Quiet cozy cottage

Nice view and access to the lake. Cottage has everything you need except groceries of course. My husband and I will definitely book this property again.

Great Lake House

We had a great week. The house is very comfortable and has amazing sunsets as it faces west. Deep water access for boats and the dock is carpeted which saves your feet in the summer.

Very cute, clean cottage with everything you need

Great home with just enough space for the 4 of us. Neighborhood leading to the home wasn’t’ great but did not cause any issues during our stay. Great access to the lake with a nice cove. Deck could use a bit of renovation but served our purposes just fine. Absolutely LOvED the screen porch and rocking chairs.

Long weekend

This was a great long weekend getaway. We had a very relaxing time. The house was lovely and located in a quiet area. We throughly enjoyed the screened in porch with ceiling fans, picnic table and decorative lighting. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home and location

This was our first trip to Lake Oconee and hopefully won’t be our last. We enjoyed our stay here very much! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The owners were easy to work with. This was a last minute trip for us and we just wished we had had more time there. The house is in a great location on the lake. We took our jet ski and was able to use the dock which is right in front of the house. We would love to stay here again!

Comfortable and beautiful

Had a great time here with my wife and two boys. Comfortable beds and everything you need inside, a really beautiful view of the lake and great back porch and dock to relax on or fish off or jump off. Excellent!

Wonderful Cottage on the Water!

Great location just steps from Lake Oconee. Dock was super nice and very big and the neighbor was nice enough to allow us to use his side as well to fish and swim from! Cottage was cozy and provided everything that we needed for our stay. Covered porch facing the water was great for late night hangs while the kids were sleeping.
