We stayed here over New Year’s with our family and had a great experience. The cabin was beautiful, and in a wonderful location, and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the holidays. The layout worked very well for our family, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Norris Lake Cabin

Beautiful property with a great view of the lake and double decker dock. Large and spacious cabin with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Great hosts and highly recommend this property!

Perfect Place

The pictures don’t do it justice, this property was perfect! Such a great setup, the room layout, the dock, fire pit, and outdoor pool table! We had so much fun, can’t wait to book it again!

Family vacation

We booked this property for spring break with our kids and grand kids. The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of bedrooms for each family, and the kids loved the bunk room. The kitchen was well equipped for a large group. The decks overlooking the water are amazing. We had a great stay.

Wonderful way to spend Christmas Holidays

Our family of 16 had a great time at Norris Lake. Plenty of space for everyone. The location was so nice, neighborhood was beautiful. We laughed so much, ate so much, played so much! Thanks for the memories we made.

Great family vacation

House has great space for large family gathering. It's a steep hike to get to the lake -- something to keep in mind for the elderly or if you have bad knees. Host is super responsive and answered all of my questions asap. Loved the ice maker! We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

Great location for a large family.

As a family of 24, we had plenty of space for the adults and ALL the kids (ages 1-15). The outdoor area is not really suitable for little kiddos, especially in the fall when it’s not warm enough for swimming, but there are plenty of state parks nearby to get their wiggles out. Highly recommend - we were very pleased with the space.

Family Reunion

This property was perfect for our family reunion. The location was good - we had folks from Delaware, Ohio, Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee. Everyone drove except our sister from Delaware and flying into Knoxville was a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids and adults loved the slide and taking boat rides on beautiful Norris Lake. We took several day excursions to Knoxville, Brushy Mountain and Clinton. Shopping wasn't far away either. Great property!!!

Great stay

Enjoyed the property except for the walk down to the lake. Should have been stairs. My mom and stepdad couldn’t make it down to enjoy the view. And it was a lack of necessities such as towels and tissue. But other than that we truly enjoyed the stay. Beautiful and mesmerizing.

Great home for a large group.

Family trip. Cousins and friends. We are boaters . Beautiful house and a beautiful lake. The only negative Was the walk from the house to the dock. It’s a doozy. Other than that everything was great. Swimming at the dock and playing on the slide as a good time. We have already decided this is where we’re staying next year. Also enjoyed the Blackstone and the grill outside breakfast and dinner.

Big house, beautiful view

We had a large group including kids ranging from 3-18. The house is very large with lots of beds. The bunk room was amazing. Walk down to dock is much easier than other places I’ve stayed. All the kids were able to walk up and down on their own. House is stocked. You will want to bring towels, house has a very small supply for the amount of people it can hold. Owner is very communicative and was able to help us get in when I don’t think I was using key pad correctly. You get no service so make sure you read check in and have door code available.

Frahm Christmas Get Together

Overall the stay was good. There was a lot of trash in the trash can and some in the yard. The house is beautiful...enjoyed all the wood and there was plenty of room. The cousins all loved sleeping together in the bunk beds. The main complaint is the ovens. The main oven did not shut right or cook evenly so it took way longer than we expected. Also we were expecting a big pool table and there was not one. The host was quick to reply to any questions and we were able to get in early

Beautiful home

Very beautiful home but a lot of problems with the house. Down stairs plumbing stopped up, TV doesn't work most of the time and livingroom recliners dont work.. dust everywhere. It took us an hour and a half to get in the house because no one had phone service, most of the dishes we used we had to wash again. We loved our time together but we should not have not had to pay for housekeeping because they are not doing their job. You have a very beautiful home but you need new housekeepers.

We have never had problems with the downstairs plumbing. So someone mush have clogged up the toilet. The toilets are brand new this year. Only one of the 4 recliners don’t work. We sent the instructions and the code to get in prior to your arrival. Which if you read the instructions and follow the directions you wouldn’t have had to wait 1.5 hours to get into the house. Having clean dishes is very dependent on the responsibility of the renters. Our cleaners or any cleaner for that matter does not go through the cabinets looking to ensure all the dishes are clean. We have a brand new dishwasher there with plenty of space in it. Renters need to use the dishwasher. So your comments are not completely accurate or fair.

This home was really great for our large group of kids and parents. We rented a pontoon with a slide and kept it in one of the two open boat spaces. We all had a blast jumping off the dock and going down the slide. It was a bit too high for the smaller kids but great for everyone else. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make meals. We had an elderly person with us that couldn’t get up and down the very steep path to the lake. We ended up renting a golf cart and it handled the path well with two average size adults. It was also helpful for hauling our paddle boards and floats. We would stay here again.

The best vacation with the entire family! This house is perfect for a larger group of adults and children. The house had plenty of spaces/bedroom and the kids bunk room was a hit the entire time - "Girls Club!" :) The double decks were great as well. The top was nice and sunny and perfect off the kitchen. The lower deck was shaded and offered a great escape from the rest of the family ;) The downstairs rec room was also a big hit with the older kids and hosted a ping pong tournament. The dock at the bottom of the hill allowed for some exercise during the week! We swam, used the slide, fished and floated the week away. We rented a pontoon boat from Whitman's Hollow Marina and tied up at the dock. The firepit had stories and s'mores a plenty! The house was perfect for our family vacation. Thanks Eric!! We will be back :)

Family Thanksgiving

We gathered in Jacksboro with my wife’s family to celebrate her dad’s 80th birthday and a get away Thanksgiving. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the house easily accommodated the 24 of us. The home is spacious, with plenty of living area. Multi level decks are a plus too! Beds were comfortable. It is well equipped for cooking, both in the kitchen and grills on the deck (2 large gas grills and a Blackstone griddle). Another plus is the ice maker in the lower level… this easily kept us with ice all weekend. All and all, we had a great time and stay. This said, I do need to note the general lack of cleanliness of the property and a few other easily fixable issues. Cleanliness was likely a result that it may have been a while since anyone was there. The exterior looked as if it hadn’t been touched for a long time. Maybe what made it so apparent was that the surrounding properties were very well maintained and manicured. The carpet in the property needed to be replaced years ago. There were light bulbs out all through the property, some bathrooms had 3 of 5 light bulbs burned out. Finally, the hot water heater isn’t large enough for the number of people that the property can accommodate. This place could easily be a 5 with some minor upkeep.
