This property was close to attractions, shopping, and food. It was very peaceful and comfortable stay.

Family Birthday Celebration

It was a rainy weekend, but we still had fun as a family playing games around the dining room table and eating delicious food at the Bulloch House and pizza from Fox pizza. The staff at the Chalets are courteous and efficient.

The management staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was bit dirty (cobwebs, dusty). The listing could make it more clear that the 3rd "bedroom" with the double beds is actually an open loft. That forced us to alter our plans onsite as we have a 4 year old and 1 year old. The property is pet-friendly but you are expected to clean up after your pet...down to the pet hair on the couch. There is not a vacuum on the property. One can be borrowed from the front office but the front office is closed on Sunday (when we were checking out) so we couldn't get it. There are NO cleaning supplies. You will need to bring your own lysol/clorox/409 spray or wipes. I was told this is because people tend to take them home but like get some dollar store ones. There is also only 1 dish towel and the dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes. You'll need to bring any laundry products, as well as extra paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper.I can see how this could be a really cool spot. The lake is peaceful and everyone had fun fishing. The location is great for downtown Pine Mountain, Callaway Gardens and the Wildlife Safari. There are amenities on site that were once nice but are just neglected now. Our main complaints are with the cabin itself though.

The day you came in to do your paperwork we offered the vacuum to you. Per our policy the dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture to prevent animal hair getting on it. We ask that when your animal using the bathroom you clean up after them being a responsible pet owner. The loft has high railings for safety. We stock the basics in the chalets and if you need more all that is needed is to ask. We have a night manager that would of been more than happy to drop off more supplies for you if you had asked. The dish washer in that unit is brand new and should have no issues drying. We will have maintenance go by and run it to be sure.
