Had an incredible two-day getaway at this cottage! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Beautiful setting, super comfortable stay, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend—we can’t wait to come back!

Great location to explore central Ontario and play nearby golf courses.Really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Home very clean and kitchen well supplied.Zoya, the host, was great.Recommended and would go again.

The setup in the entrance at the back is extremely dangerous. They should definitely block off the top of the bottoms stairs to prevents falls when entering into the house. One of the members of our party fell down the stairs and sprained her ankle. She is still currently off work, which is a big disappointment and a financial loss. Would not recommend this place to anyone until that has been changed.

The safety and comfort of our guests are very important to us, and we take your concerns seriously. Although the entrance and steps comply with the Ontario Building Code (OBC), we will carefully review the entrance and stair area and look into whether additional lighting, markings, or other measures could make it easier and safer to navigate, particularly at night. Very clean

We had an amazing time staying at the property, it was clean , beautifully decorated and hot tub was the best. After a day of hikes and outing coming home to hottub.. nothing better than that. You will have a best of time there ..

The property from Inside was clean but front yard and back yard were filled with leaves. Hot tub was the only good thing, other than that it was an average property that was listed on reasonable price. The price was good for the group of 8 people and Host was nice.

Peaceful Getaway Near the Water

We had a wonderful stay! The space was lovely, clean, comfortable, and in a great location close to lakes and beaches, which made it perfect for relaxing and exploring the area.Zoya was amazing with communication, super quick to respond, and always helpful!The only minor downside was that the outlets in one of the rooms weren't working, and only a few upstairs were functional, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Zoya was made aware and is working on fixing those!Would definitely recommend!

Great house!

8 adult siblings rented this home in Waubaushene and it had everything we needed! It was so clean, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, beds were so comfortable. Nice options to have hot tub, sauna and a fire pit! Excellent easy walking trail along the water. The beach area at the end of Pine street is way better maintained than years ago. This house is exactly as you see in the pics, can’t recommend it enough, the host was quick to answer a question I had. If you’re looking to stay in the area this house is a great choice! We will be back!

Great ski getaway

Zoya was an amazing host, great communicator, and accommodating! We arrived just after the huge snowstorm Family Day weekend. Honestly, there was so much snow that fell that weekend, I was amazed the driveway was cleared for us to park at the house! I couldn’t believe the deck had been shovelled to access the hot tub and a path shovelled to access the sauna! The snowbanks to the sauna were easily 4’ high! Zoya’s place was very comfortable, close to ski hill, nice kitchen to prepare meals. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great property overall, some small inconveniences

The property was as advertised and the area was really enjoyable and a short walk from the lake. We did run out of garbage bags (there were only 2 left when we arrived) and the lawn had not been mowed in a while, so there were quite a few mosquitoes.

Good stay in a quiet place

The property is situated in a location that is relatively quiet. Perfect for those that want to get away from the noise of the city. The inside of the property was really clean and the added bonus were the nicely renovated washrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils, that were well organized too. One issue that we faced was that the fridge wasn't working properly, so some of the food that we brought along did go bad. For example, we had kept a tub of ice cream in the freezer, but noticed it was still soft to the touch even after a whole day of keeping it in there. Luckily, it was a short stay and we had our coolers with ice in them, so all was not lost. I did also note, like the previous review, that the grass at the back looked like it was not mowed for a bit. * I do have a few recommendations, that I feel might make the place feel better. The whole area between the sauna room, the patio set and the driveway, could be paved with inter-locking - which could increase the appeal of the space and reduce the maintenance needed, with having to mow the lawn.

Zoya's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for my friends and I. It very comfortably accommodated our group of eight. Upon arrival, we were impressed with how clean and cozy the entire property and cottage were. I am personally super picky when it comes to beds and they were AMAZING. The natural gas bbq made for three nights of great meals without having to worry about dashing out to refill a propane tank. AC worked like a dream. There is a really nice sandy beach an easy 8 minute walk from the property. The hot tub and sauna a cherry on top. Thank you to our hosts for the memories :)

Fantastic space

We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were the perfect place to relax. I would recommend going to balm beach near by, the water is perfect! Zoya was super communicative and very accommodating

Excellent Home Base for a Family

We had an excellent stay at Zoya's property. The photos were accurate and there was lots of space for 2 families with small children. The house was very clean and well stocked. The hot tub and sauna were especially big hits with the adults in our group. The location was very good for us. Walking distance to a beach and a playground. A short drive to a small highway to access other amenities and communities nearby. Zoya was a great host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Quiet and clean gem tucked away in Waubaushene

Fantastic little gem in Waubaushene. It was so very clean and tidy. So very impressed. Lots of extras! Our family enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings as well. Close to Midland. Wonderful place to enjoy a rest. The owner has added special touches that make this a cozy getaway. We would definitely stay here again!
