A Cottage at Willow Pond Stables awaits you in a tranquil setting on a 17 acre farm where you can rest, relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of horses just out the front door. Also tour Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Hendersonville, Black Mountain, and experience all the activities and scenery Western North Carolina has to offer. Have lunch at the Picnic Table, relax in the 6 person hot tub, swing in the hammock under a shade tree, watch the water rippling on the pond while sitting in Gazebo, observe horses grazing....That’s right….you will experience nature from the leisure of this cozy cottage. Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at catching a fish. Pamper yourself in the privacy of this fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms cottage with one level living space of 1200 sq. foot. Comfortable & luxurious king and queen beds await you dressed with fine linens. Throw something on the BBQ grill, take advantage of your fully equipped kitchen for those home cooked meals or take a 5 minute drive to the areas many restaurants and Movie Theater! Your kitchen includes a refrigerator with ice maker, electric cook-top with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the cooking utensils you may desire. Beautiful location with a well stocked kitchen. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and one toddler. We were excited to find fresh eggs upon arrival and to watch the horses from the yard.

The property was beautiful inside and out! The house and grounds were well maintained and it was very spacious. The hot tub and grill were great amenities. Having the fresh farm eggs they left for breakfast was a welcome surprise and much appreciated.

This place is adorable! While it's a little drive to most tourist attractions, the quiet country setting is ideal. Fresh eggs in the fridge was a sweet surprise!If I had any issue at all, the beds were a bit hard for my personal preference. But, that's just me.All in all, a great place to stay!

A magical farm stay we didn't want to leave!We were so reluctant to leave this place! From the moment we arrived, we were breathing in fresh air and pure peace, greeted with farm-fresh eggs in the fridge (and loved being able to buy more during our stay).Every evening we watched dozens of fireflies light up like little earth fireworks — pure magic. We saw the horses daily and will truly miss them, plus got to say hi to the goats and miniature horse too!The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, felt just like home. After busy days exploring downtown Asheville or the Biltmore House, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind.Terri was an amazing host, always helpful and communicative. This stay was unforgettable and we'll definitely be back!Highly recommend for a peaceful, charming farm getaway.

This is an excellent place to stay, especially if you're planning to visit Asheville or the Biltmore. Beautiful, peaceful property with everything you need and nothing you don't. Everything was clean and the host always responded to messages quickly. Would gladly stay here again.

I brought my mom to this amazing home for a late surprise Mother’s Day weekend. She was excited and well impressed with the house, the grounds (being able to see and pet the horses), and her favorite… the hot tub. On the way home she was raving to anyone that would listen how magical the house was. Thank you for allowing me to give back to my mom as she’s always given me so much. We will definitely return in the future!

I loved this place. It was quiet, secluded, and very clean. It had every basic necessity I could think of. The host was friendly and easily reached. The hot tub was a wonderful addition to our trip. My son also loved meeting a delightful puppy, and both my children greatly enjoyed seeing the horses and other animals. I hope to return! This place is a piece of heaven.

Everything was super clean neat the kitchen had everything you could possibly need though we didn't really use the kitchen. Plenty of towels and there were even towels specifically for the hot tub. It was nice to sit under the stars and listen to Nature while soaking in the hot tub. Super close to restaurants, shopping, hwy and groceries.

We really enjoyed this cozy cottage. The scenery and peaceful location were perfect. It was wonderful to be able to come back after a long day of touring and be able to relax in the hot tub and look out at the beautiful pastures.

Growing up on the original 103 acre farm, Terri has a true passion for what she and her husband of 35 years have ventured into.  Though the farm has dwindled in size, Clay and Terri Vick still maintain and operate 17 acres as a horse boarding facility, keeping their own horses as well.  Realizing horses were going to be a huge part of our lives we created Willow Pond Stables 28 years ago.  Now we are excited to offer A Cottage at Willow Pond for others to share our joy in this wonderful place we live.

The house has been part of the family for 50 + years.  Terri's grandfather raised a large family on this farm.  It was his wish to continue to have horses and family here.  He would be pleased to know people can come enjoy what he started.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Off the beaten path, yet so close to all conveniences.  Nestled in a beautiful valley, horses all around the property.  Enjoy nature at its finest, fox, deer, frogs, fish, and occasionally a duck in the pond.  Sounds of horses grazing just outside the front door.  Goats, cat, chickens, miniature horse, and donkeys are on the property too! Only 5 minutes to restaurants, gas, movies, grocery and shopping.
