New beautiful luxury mountain/modern style guest home on top of the mountain in a highly sought after exclusive spot, yet only 5 minutes to downtown Asheville where you can enjoy the finest dining breweries etc. Then come bear watch on the deck! Prepare something fantastic in this beautiful modern kitchen with an Induction range, with convection oven plus additional microwave/ convection oven, large stainless steel refrigerator with ice and water, stainless steel Bosch dishwasher as well as coffee/espresso maker, toaster etc. Cooking utensils dishes etc. are all provided.

Relax in the cozy king bedroom with luxury linens, flat screen TV and mountain views.

The living area has a queen size sleeper sofa,(very comfy for a sleeper sofa) flat screen TV and also has mountain views.

The gorgeous modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and separate toilet room.

Dine inside with seating for four, or outside on the beautiful patio with seating for five.

In addition to outdoor dining on the patio there is a gas grill and a stainless steel stainless steel fire pit.

In addition to the patio, there is also a separate deck, both with views.

The guest house is best suited for people without physical limitations or disabilities. As the pictures show there are amazing boluder steps going winding down to the entrance, but may possibly be difficult for some, and there is no handrail.

The guest house is attached to an area of the main house, that is rarely used so it is very private. It is connected with one exterior type locked door. It is very private and has its own entrance. The patio and deck area are private for the guest house only. We travel a lot and may or may not be in the main house while guests are staying, but if we are home we or courteous to the fact that there are guests in the guest house. Although the house is well insulated, it’s possible that you may hear slight sound from the main house but there is no living area above the guest house so it should be minimal.

Just far enough from downtown to feel peaceful, but so close that nothing we wanted to do in town was ever more than 15 minutes away. View was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again.

Spotless and well equipped. Perfect for a couple. Great location minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Pkwy yet quiet with nice views. Owner was very conscientious and a good communicator.

This was the perfect location for our recent stay in Asheville. It is only 10 minutes to downtown and close to many hiking trails. The accommodation feels very private from the main house with a separate entrance. The inside is very well maintained with high end finishes in the restroom/shower and a full kitchen range in the main room. This is one of the nicer properties I have every stayed at, especially for being pet friendly. It would be ideal for any extended stays as well.The area seems very safe. The house is on a main road, so not meant for walking/walking your dog from the property. However it is easy to drive down the road and walk in other neighborhoods if needed. We did spot many bears in the area and Asheville, bit it was not a bother. Mitch seems very committed to ensuring his guests have a great stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

Well appointed and beautiful location! It is attached to the main house, but very minimal noise which was mentioned in full description, so not a surprise. We were treated to a mama bear and cub sighting which was a highlight of the trip. Host responds quickly and offered plenty of suggestions for dining, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing upscale VRBO in the mountains. Super clean and updated. Very close to all Asheville has to offer but also very peaceful away from the crowds. We actually saw a mom and baby bear within minutes of checking in from the patio. Would definitely stay again.

We're repeat guests! Centrally located to Biltmore, downtown Asheville and Hendersonville. It's a very comfortable space to relax with our one big dog.

The property was amazing, clean, close to hikes and downtown, it had a beautiful view, and a very nice layout. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a dog as well the overall experience was great. Parking was also easy and I had a full size SUV.

My wife Sherri and I are from South Florida and moved up to the Asheville area 13 years ago because we completely fell in love with it. My dad retired here about 33 years ago and after visiting him here multiple times we decided we had to be here. We enjoy traveling and do so a lot but are always happy to get back here. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing and biking. Whether traveling or home we also enjoy dining, wineries, pubs breweries, etc. and in addition to all of the outdoor activities, there are some fantastic options these too right here in the Asheville area.

I own a couple of businesses including a construction and design company. We specialize in high-end custom residential houses, and we completed this house in early 2021. We think it is fantastic, and I hope you will too.

It is situated on 8 acres and overlooks long range mountain views. If you travel five minutes the other direction it brings you to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway. The Blue Ridge Parkway is fantastic for a little day drive, or as a access to many hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain peaks etc. The Blue Ridge Parkway has many Outlook points as you’re driving along to enjoy the beautiful vistas, And also provides hey scenic ride to Mount Mitchell, the highest peak in the eastern United States. This house, situated where it is Makes it a quick five minute drive to some of the areas finest restaurants, breweries etc. Yet you can come back and bear watch on the terrace .
