New beautiful rustic-modern luxury mountain guest home on top of the mountain in a highly sought after exclusive spot, yet only 5 minutes to downtown Asheville. Enjoy the finest dining breweries etc. Then come bear watch on the deck! Prepare something fantastic in this beautiful modern kitchen with an Induction range, with convection oven plus additional microwave/ convection oven, large stainless steel refrigerator with ice and water, stainless steel Bosch dishwasher as well as coffee/espresso maker, toaster etc. Cooking utensils dishes etc. are all provided.

Relax in the cozy king bedroom with luxury linens, flat screen TV and mountain views.

The living area has a queen size sleeper sofa,(very comfy for a sleeper sofa) flat screen TV and also has mountain views.

The gorgeous modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and separate toilet room.

Dine inside with seating for four, or outside on the beautiful patio with seating for five.

In addition to outdoor dining on the patio there is a gas grill and a stainless steel stainless steel fire pit.

In addition to the patio, there is also a separate deck, both with views.

The guest house is best suited for people without physical limitations or disabilities. As the pictures show there are amazing boluder steps going winding down to the entrance, but may possibly be difficult for some, and there is no handrail.

The guest house is attached to an area of the main house, that is rarely used so it is very private. It is connected with one exterior type locked door. It is very private and has its own entrance. The patio and deck area are private for the guest house only. We travel a lot and may or may not be in the main house while guests are staying, but if we are home we or courteous to the fact that there are guests in the guest house. Although the house is well insulated, it’s possible that you may hear slight sound from the main house but there is no living area above the guest house so it should be minimal.

Asheville sky view with Yogi

We enjoyed our trip and the stay off of Town Mountain rd. It was a convent distance from town where an Uber isn’t expensive and the drive isn’t that bad either. All of the neighbors are quiet and there were no disturbances. Great balcony for sipping beverages and watching the sun rise or set. There was a neighborhood bear that we saw all across the ridge that was fun to watch and do his thing. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

Beautiful and modern

Great VRBO close to everything. Just like advertised. Parking spot is small and the stone steps down require you to be careful so it’s not for people that have trouble with steps. Otherwise, it’s modern, clean and very nice.

Look No Further

Our trip to Asheville had us visiting Sliding Rock as well as Mt. Mitchell (both under an hour away in opposite directions). It is uncanny how 'away from it all' Luxury Mountaintop feels. At the same time, getting to the best places in downtown Asheville is 10-15 minutes. We even picked up dinner one night and it was still plenty hot by the time we got back. The host communication is quick, the views are spectacular, and the wildlife we spotted was rewarding. The space is well-laid out, clean, and it is very quiet at night. My wife and I spared one day just to stay at home to read on the deck. This was such a fun and relaxing trip. Thank you, Mitch!

Amazing mountain weekend

Traveled in for weekend with our pups - communication with owner was great - apartment was very nice and super clean. Very luxurious accommodations and they had everything we could need. We will be back!

Perfect place to stay in Asheville.

The location is perfect. The property/guest suite is extremely nice. Very private. Great view. The location is up on a mountain so you have a perfect view. The guest suite has everything you need other than food or beverages. The suite looks completely brand new. Great appliances. Grill outside. Fire pit outside. Flat screens. Washer and dryer. Full size fridge. Bathroom is beautiful. Again very private. The listing states the walk/path down to the guest suite is steep. This is true. The walk is all stone steps with landscape lighting. When we come and visit Asheville again we are definitely staying there.

Lovely long weekend

Perfect size for a couple with great basics for cooking; average Uber ride was about $12 from downtown Asheville. Sad to leave such a relaxing, beautiful place.

Great Stay

Great property, great views. Convenient to everything — downtown, west Asheville, River Arts District, parkway hikes, waterfalls, etc. Beautifully done inside. Living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom all perfect. Would definitely check availability here before considering anywhere else.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views

Beautiful, clean home with gorgeous views. We especially enjoyed sitting our on the comfortable patio and deck furniture with wonderful views of the woods and mountains. Great location for hiking, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as being close to town. Would highly recommend.

Incredible Views Right Next to Downtown

I cannot say enough amazing things about this property. Every time you come back to the house you’ll be in awe at the view - we spent even the chilliest of mornings outside on the patio because it was just so beautiful. The house is located up a windy road JUST outside of downtown. We got pretty much anywhere we wanted to go in Asheville in less than 15 minutes. The hosts are great and are quick to answer a question but really focus on giving you your space while you’re there. They keep the house stocked with necessities and while we shopped for our weeklong stay we didn’t need to worry about spices or anything like that. It was perfect.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for my wife and I and in a great location. In fact one night we just decided to cook out on the patio and enjoy the view. The owner was full of good information and very helpful!

Gorgeous views and beautiful amenities! Dog Friendly!

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful time here. All the furnishings and appointments are top quality and match the beauty of the area. The deck and views were amazing and we were reluctant to leave. The dog had a great time and actually met some 'friendly' bears!! Will return soon.

Very Relaxing... Beautiful Views

Had a wonderful time! Very clean and comfortable. Located near the city of Asheville, yet feels like you are tucked away in the mountains. Lots of wildlife... had several visits from the local bears (mom and her 3 cubs). Owner was very attentive to our needs and communicated very well. 5 STARS!!

845 town mountain gem

Our stay was wonderful. The home was immaculate and the view was stunning! Less than 10 minutes to downtown and shopping also a plus. Hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway also close. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!

This was such great place to stay. This place is so nice and feels new! The grounds around the home are gorgeous. The view, amazing. The bears were super cool. We actually had one come very close to the house and I got great photos from inside! Felt very safe the entire time and it was super quiet and just a fantastic place to stay- we look forward to returning soon! Thank you!

Beautiful Location

The property is in a great location, new with modern flair. The major disappointments for us were comfort if the bed and the living room seating. One of the reasons that we chose to vrbo was to have space to relax after waking and hiking during the day. The main bedroom mattress is either older and worn out or just soft... neither of which was good for us. The seating in the living area is horrid...it is a small pullout sofa that is very uncomfortable to sit on. If you don't care about the above decor complaints, then the physical structure is 5 stars.

My wife Sherri and I are from South Florida and moved up to the Asheville area 10 years ago because we completely fell in love with it. My dad retired here about 28 years ago and after visiting him here multiple times we decided we had to be here. We travel a lot but are always happy to get back here. We enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing, biking etc.

I own a couple of businesses including a construction and design company. We specialize in high-end custom residential houses, and we completed this house in early 2021. We think it is fantastic, and I hope you will too.

This is a beautiful modern/rustic mountain home. The location is unbeatable. It is only five minutes from downtown Asheville yet feels worlds away. It is situated on 8 acres and overlooks long range mountain views. If you travel five minutes the other direction it brings you to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Blue Ridge Parkway is fantastic for a little day drive, or as a access to many hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain peaks etc. The Blue Ridge Parkway has many Outlook points as you’re driving along to enjoy the beautiful vistas, And also provides hey scenic ride to Mount Mitchell, the highest peak in the eastern United States. This house, situated where it is Makes it a quick five minute drive to some of the areas finest restaurants, breweries etc. Yet you can come back and watch on the deck.
