We reserved a week, but due to some home damage, we had to extend our stay by almost another week. It was glorious! Patrick was very accommodating, and the home was fabulous! Everything was as pictured, and the views were even better than the pictures. Excellent stay with a gracious host!

This house is in an incredible location. Steps from the beach, great views, close enough to the attractions to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. There are so many great outdoor spots to hang out too - balconies, hammock, outdoor lounge area.We visited with two teenagers and an 8 year old plus my husband and I. Everyone loved the house, which says a lot. One really nice thing? Every bedroom is beautiful with gorgeous views. So often the second bedrooms don’t have nice views and my kids really enjoyed their beautiful ocean views.Everything was very clean and the house is well stocked. The owner was great about communication with the few small questions we had.The outdoor shower was so nice to rinse off our puppy and kids. It kept the house virtually free of sand.We live in the Houston metro area and plan to return to this house for sure! Hopefully it won’t be long.

The property was in a great location. It was not as large as I expected but we enjoyed it. There was an ant problem inside the home which was a little frustrating. The owner just said - “that is to be expected in a tropical environment.” No apology. That was disappointing as I have rented in Galveston many times and other beach houses and have never had to deal with that. There was mold on one of the ceilings but it might have been new. I reported to the owner. I would personally not rent again.

We are sorry that we could not meet your expectations. You are only the second non 5 star review in 4 years. The mildew from the AC duct is fixed. They can sweat in the summer especially when the AC is set very cold. The exterminators come regularly. If you leave food out in the kitchen, it can attract ants, for which I gave you ant spray. We answered your many messages to the best of our ability. We helped you with the booking when you could not figure out the VRBO website, changed your reservation for you, allowed your dog, which was not on the initial reservation, allowed you to set the thermostat lower than recommended, explained to you how to use the stove etc. Your message on checkout stated that you enjoyed your stay in our home. We hope all our guests enjoy the house as much as we do!

The location of the house is perfect and literally steps away from the beach. We loved the neighborhood and felt like there was a general welcoming, calm vibe. All the windows and the site plan of the house is lovely and even with the weekend being rainy off and on we liked having the view and balconies. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Amazingly beautiful. Clean and close to the beach. Almost perfect - would have been a perfect 10 except there was no dishwasher detergent and not enough toilet paper.

Great Beach House

We’ve stayed at this house multiple times, and we are are always excited to return. Great set-up, comfortable, and short walk from the beach… great for families. We’ll be back, highly recommend!

Great Location and Great House!

We really enjoyed this home for a week! I was a great property and Patrick was super quick to respond when we had a couple of questions! The property was really close to the beach, as well! Great views from the porch!

GREAT beach house

We have stayed at this house in the past and really enjoy the home and its location. Perfect spot to relax on the deck and enjoy the sun and surf. This house feels more like a home and NOT a rental. We love it there and will be back again.
