Come hideaway in our country retreat in the middle of 14 acres of wooded peacefulness. Enjoy wildlife from a window or from one of two decks while you are still located close to tourist attractions like Strasburg Railroad and minutes from the oldest, continuing farmers' market, Central Market and numerous hiking trails at state parks or conservancies.
Our family has lived here for over twenty years and we would love to share it with visitors. Whether you're a history buff, a adventurer, a shopper, or you're just looking for a little time to rest and restore yourself, our slice of nature is the perfect place to relax.

Note: there is a doorbell camera at the front door.

Enjoyed the hot tub

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway. The home was peaceful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the hot tub. If we come again we will bring our bikes because the Enola Low Grade Trail is super close.

Yearly tradition

This is the fourth year my friend group has stayed with the Pennsy Ridge Hideaway, and we LOVE it! The house is always clean and welcoming with a stress free check in amd check out process. So many cherished memories have been made here!

New Years Trip with the Gworls

We all loved the place and the amount of space it had as a whole! They had everything we could need in the kitchen as well which made our stay much better with all the cooking we did! We enjoyed the hot tub but while in it on the first night we did notice it was not very clean & had to clean it ourselves a bit, this didn’t stop us from having a good time & enjoying the place! We may come back again!

Perfect Stay!!!

We so enjoyed our stay! It’s a perfect place for us! Easy to find and communications were excellent! This is a property for rest and relaxation and very convenient to areas of interest. Super clean with great amenities. Felt like home! It will be our “go to”for the next visit. This is a “six star” Totally happy!

very well hidden but..

The property was incredibly spacious. My wife and I only used one bedroom, but it could easily accommodate two or more couples. The hot tub area was lovely, and we enjoyed watching deer roam outside one of the large windows, which offered stunning views of the hillside and endless trees. However, finding the place was a bit challenging. It could benefit from a visible marker for nighttime arrivals, especially for first-time visitors. Additionally, there were only two small ice trays, and no ice was made in advance. Despite these minor inconveniences, the price was excellent, and the unique location and view were unmatched in the area.

Getaway

Our 9th anniversary getaway was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit and walking the local trails. Extremely clean and most necessities provided along with a few local goodies. We will return in the future.

Lovely recharge in the beauty of nature

Beautiful property with lots of deer and birds. Very accommodating hosts, with great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub under the stars is amazing.

Great place to stay

The place was perfect for the 3 of us. Many extras that were left for our use which were totally unexpected such as the whoopie pies and the coffee bar set up which left nothing that any of us needed or wanted. The hot tub being ready for our daily use was terrificexceptional seeing it was October.

Nestled in the woods

It was GREAT! The home is beautiful with for to ceiling windows to see the nature outside. We are already planning to stay again next year. Do convenient to everything.

A gem of a property close to everything in Lancaster

Property was simply beautiful. Accommodations split across two floors which allow us to have separate spaces. Technology is great as well allowing for Airplay to watch movies at night. I will definitely book again when in the area

A little slice of Heaven

Beautiful home! Everything was thought of so thoroughly as to the needs of guests, right down to Whoopie pie Pies and every kind of coffee/tea under the sun. Quiet setting, spacious and inviting. Every room had a special touch added to it. Please check it out, you won’t be disappointed! Very close to the Amish shops.

Nice short getaway

The property was nice and secluded. Didn't care much for the bubbles in the hot tub, but got past that just relaxing and letting the jets do there thing on our injured bodies. I thought the boot print on the ceiling in the bathroom was quit interesting. Loved the beautiful boutique on the dining room table. Id recomend to friends.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and coffee bar fully supplied. Very yummy treats with raspberry tea. Flowers were very welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again and recommend for others as well.

We are Angie and Brant. We both grew up in Lancaster County and bought this property soon after getting married. We have lived here for over 20 years. We have put a lot of time into making it our own and continue to enjoy making improvements. We have always taken solace in the outdoors which is what drew us to make it our home. We share this with our daughter and two Newfoundland dogs.
