Relax at the beach, swim, fish, play games, take a walk, or enjoy a campfire. You’re on 'the quiet side', yet only minutes away from all the attractions Door County has to offer including golf, shopping, antiques, art galleries, live theater, parks, etc.

Take the winding drive past the courtyard and fern bed to this beachfront cottage. You won't miss any of Kangaroo Lake's spectacular sunsets from the front deck of Walnut. Enjoy meals in the large, screened porch or just listen to the waves lapping the shore from the front yard. With two bedrooms, Walnut sleeps up to a maximum of five guests.

Family vacation

We loved the view from the cabin and screened in porch. Most places we wanted to visit were not a far drive. The kids had a blast and so did we!

More information needed.

Property was excellent. However more information was needed as to what was supplied and what wasn’t. Actually, no information was sent regarding the property. No one was on the property when we came and when we left. Hope everything was done right.

Comfortable stay

Great location for exploring Door County. Quiet pretty area this time of year. Lake Kangaroo is right out the front door. Beautiful sunsets. Be aware that altho it says linens provided - we were asked to bring our own kitchen and bath towels if possible. Also - cleaning supplies were provided and the expectation was that you would clean the bathroom and kitchen before you left - mop the floors and vacuum the rug. A bit unusual for most places I have stayed in the past. Overall however - a nice spot.

Great Cabin

We had a great time at Walnut. The cabin was perfect for our weekend in Door Co. Beautiful view of the lake! Trudy was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

Weekend get away!

We really enjoyed our time at Bailey's Harbor in this cute, rustic cabin in the woods and on the lake. I was so surprised when we arrived to see that we were within 15 steps of the lake and it was so calm and quiet. The pictures on the website do not do it justice.

Great getaway

Very happy with the location and waterfront. Beautiful water and beach. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Would have liked our own fire pit.

This property was on a lake, with access to the water. It had three bedrooms. There was an unannounced fee for "local taxes" that was not advertised. Also, we received a message the day of our rental that there were no towels provided, but we had already left on our trip 2 days before this. Also, we were required to go through an extensive cleaning checklist as we cleaned the cabin top to bottom before checkout at 10 AM, which was also unexpected.

Best week of the year!

We were just feet from beach and loved every minute of our stay. Great selection of non-motorized watercraft available to use and really close to the playground. Can't wait to go back!
