Treat yourself to a classic Door County get-away. The Beach House is nestled on one of the quietest stretches of beach along Lake Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, quiet walks, and the sound of waves at night. You might even spot the pair of nesting bald eagles just to the south.

The cottage is located between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. This location allows you to enjoy the “Quietside” of Door County with easy access to such attractions as Whitefish Dunes State Park, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course and Cana Island Lighthouse. While there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby, the Green Bay side of Door County is just minutes away.

The Beach House has a fully equipped kitchen and a charcoal grill for your use. It has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a full mattress in the sleeping loft. You won't find the distractions of a TV, but you can view your favorite movies on a DVD player. Many of our guests find the screened-in porch overlooking the beach as the best place to curl up with a good book.

The cottage can be heated should the weather be unseasonably cold. Beach House is a housekeeping cottage. Blankets and pillows are there for your use. Linens and towels are not provided.

Classic Door County Cottage with Stunning Views

This property offers unbeatable access to the Lake Michigan shoreline and stunning views. The cottage itself is a classically "old-school" cottage, very cozy and has everything you need for an enjoyable time. The location is conveniently located on the peninsula. The hosts are very communicative and helpful! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful view at the Beach House

The beautiful views at the Beach House were simply breathtaking! We walked the beach every morning and enjoyed a bonfire in the evenings. They provide plenty of wood, which is something most rentals don’t offer. The beach house was very clean when we arrived. Perfect size for 2 people! We didn’t use the loft bed since it’s a tight area to get in and out of. The 9am check out would be my only compliant. Typically places we’ve stayed at in the area have 10 or 11am check out times.

Amazing find!

This was such an amazing little getaway! The pictures don’t do the screened in porch justice. We basically lived out there the whole stay. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Quietside Cottages! I wanted a quiet place along the beach too celebrate my 40th/parent weekend away, and this was exactly that! The place was very clean, cozy and private. The screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee. My husband and I loved sitting on the beach and even had an evening campfire one night. The Internet was not a problem for us. I will miss the sound of the waves!

Sweet Lake-Side Cabin

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was cozy-well equipped and right on the water. We enjoyed a fire on the quiet beach. The location in Door County was perfect.

Happy place

We love staying at the Quietside Cottages. Beach House is a comfy home away from home. The sunporch is a great place to relax any time of the day! The location is perfect and the beach is amazing. We're looking forward to another year!

Beautiful beach

We love staying at Quietside Cottages. The Beach house has such a beautiful view from the inside as well as on the enclosed deck. All the amenities needed for a week stay were provided and as described. The setting will not disappoint. We can hardly wait to come back again. Cozy hideaway on a great beach!

Everything I want in a Door County vacation. Cozy, old style cabin feel but beautifully updated and comfortable. Wonderful beach for walking or gazing.

Quiet and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Quietside Cottages Beach House! Listing is 100% accurate and our host was very attentive. We were actually pretty glad to have no cell reception - it's a REAL getaway! There is wireless internet but as stated in listing, it's not good for streaming. Bring some movies, play games, and enjoy each other and the beauty of Door County! Thanks again to our host Jill for her great suggestions on things to do. We may be back in another year or two!

Great tiny home with excellent beach view

The name Beach House says it all. Felt like a cozy cabin on the beach with beautiful white sand. The complimentary wood pile was convenient for campfires while watching the sunset. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for us to stream from Netflix and Hulu which exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again.

Beach House Love!

Our family (2 adults & 2 younger children) stayed in the Beach House for one lovely week. It was so hard to leave, and the kids kept asking us we could just stay. 😊 This property is perfect for small families who like to spend their days on the beautiful sand beach, swimming, walking, beach combing, and relaxing. This location is so beautiful, and perfect for exploring other areas of the Door easily. This cabin was comfortable, simple, and had everything we needed. We had a fire every night on the beach, and grilled once. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. We would love to come back again!
