Beachfront Cottage on Lake Michigan

Treat yourself to a classic Door County get-away. The Beach House is nestled on one of the quietest stretches of beach along Lake Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, quiet walks, and the sound of waves at night. You might even spot the pair of nesting bald eagles just to the south.

The cottage is located between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. This location allows you to enjoy the “Quietside” of Door County with easy access to such attractions as Whitefish Dunes State Park, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course and Cana Island Lighthouse. While there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby, the Green Bay side of Door County is just minutes away.

The Beach House has a fully equipped kitchen and a charcoal grill for your use. It has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a full mattress in the sleeping loft. You won't find the distractions of a TV, but you can view your favorite movies on a DVD player. Many of our guests find the screened-in porch overlooking the beach as the best place to curl up with a good book.

The cottage can be heated should the weather be unseasonably cold. Beach House is a housekeeping cottage. Blankets and pillows are there for your use. Linens and towels are not provided.

Amazing find!

This was such an amazing little getaway! The pictures don’t do the screened in porch justice. We basically lived out there the whole stay. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Classic Door County Cottage with Stunning Views

This property offers unbeatable access to the Lake Michigan shoreline and stunning views. The cottage itself is a classically "old-school" cottage, very cozy and has everything you need for an enjoyable time. The location is conveniently located on the peninsula. The hosts are very communicative and helpful! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

First visit to Door County

We really loved the Beach House it provided all the comforts of home with close access to the lake. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We will definitely return.

Beautiful beach

We love staying at Quietside Cottages. The Beach house has such a beautiful view from the inside as well as on the enclosed deck. All the amenities needed for a week stay were provided and as described. The setting will not disappoint. We can hardly wait to come back again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful beach with us once again.

Weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Quietside Cottages! I wanted a quiet place along the beach too celebrate my 40th/parent weekend away, and this was exactly that! The place was very clean, cozy and private. The screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee. My husband and I loved sitting on the beach and even had an evening campfire one night. The Internet was not a problem for us. I will miss the sound of the waves!

Beautiful view at the Beach House

The beautiful views at the Beach House were simply breathtaking! We walked the beach every morning and enjoyed a bonfire in the evenings. They provide plenty of wood, which is something most rentals don’t offer. The beach house was very clean when we arrived. Perfect size for 2 people! We didn’t use the loft bed since it’s a tight area to get in and out of. The 9am check out would be my only compliant. Typically places we’ve stayed at in the area have 10 or 11am check out times.

Best place to stay in Door County!

The Beach House is perfect for two. The screened in porch overlooking Lake Michigan is priceless. The Lake breezes and waves are a big plus! Quiet and private. Nature at it's finest!

Beautiful beach retreat for a couple or small family

The cottage is well kept and well supplied with everything needed for a serene beach vacation. No cable TV and weak internet (also spotty access to Verizon) but the screen porch and amazing sandy beach are the real attractions. So peaceful and more beautiful than the Green Bay side of the peninsula.

Quiet setting on the beach...

The Beach house was perfect for the two of us. We loved the screen porch and the secluded setting. The beach was a few steps away and the swing on the private beach was a perfect place for our morning coffee. We loved the sound of the waves and our walks on the beach. The location made it easy to visit the surrounding towns and local attractions. We would love to visit again and would definitely stay at the Beach House if it were available.

Beach House

We love the Quietside of Door County and Beach House did not disappoint! The location is perfect to explore the peninsula and visit our favorite spots. A few of our favorites were the beach and the screened in porch! The boathouse stored our kayaks and stand up paddleboard, saving us bringing them up and down to the beach. Looking forward to next year!

Beach House

The space was simple, but clean and in an ideal location. My only grievance is the lack of comfortable bed. I don't need anything fancy, but I do need a bed that allows me to sleep through the night. I ended up sleeping the love seat (sans pull-out component) for the final night.
