Beachfront Cottage on Lake Michigan

Treat yourself to a classic Door County get-away. The Beach House is nestled on one of the quietest stretches of beach along Lake Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, quiet walks, and the sound of waves at night. You might even spot the pair of nesting bald eagles just to the south.

The cottage is located between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. This location allows you to enjoy the “Quietside” of Door County with easy access to such attractions as Whitefish Dunes State Park, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course and Cana Island Lighthouse. While there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby, the Green Bay side of Door County is just minutes away.

The Beach House has a fully equipped kitchen and a charcoal grill for your use. It has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a full mattress in the sleeping loft. You won't find the distractions of a TV, but you can view your favorite movies on a DVD player. Many of our guests find the screened-in porch overlooking the beach as the best place to curl up with a good book.

The cottage can be heated should the weather be unseasonably cold. Beach House is a housekeeping cottage. Blankets and pillows are there for your use. Linens and towels are not provided.

The cottage is lovely - it is nicely updated and very comfortable. Great location - nice view of the lake and we loved the beach access so we could take long walks along the shoreline. The owner was very good with communication and we had no issues. We plan on staying there again next year!

We loved staying here and hope to come again! The cottage is small and very cozy! I loved opening up the sliding door to the screened in porch and listening to the waves at the beach. The bed was firm and comfortable and we never felt chilly. We liked that they provided fans if needed. The beach is beautiful and I loved the swing- overall, a great place to stay for a romantic couples weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachfront cottage. The beach is wonderful for taking long walks. The cottage was well provisioned and had everything we needed. Communication with Jill was timely. We would love to visit again.

Everything about Beach House is perfect: the screened porch overlooking the Lake Michigan beach, the cuteness of the cottage itself, and the well-equipped kitchen. The location is peaceful yet near to everything Door County has to offer.

It could not be any closer to the beach. The cottage has everythingyou need and cozy. It is great for two people and not a lot of luggage.

Wonderful First Trip to Door County!

What a wonderful stay we had at the cabin! Great location and surrounded by friendly neighbors. Steps from the beach and easy drives to the peninsula’s sights and sounds. Excellent communication from the host and super easy check in/check out process. Will certainly be back!

Wonderful beach house

Had a great stay at the beach house with my 2 kids! The size was perfect for us. We loved being just steps away from the beach, and the screened in porch was amazing.

Classic Door County Cottage with Stunning Views

This property offers unbeatable access to the Lake Michigan shoreline and stunning views. The cottage itself is a classically "old-school" cottage, very cozy and has everything you need for an enjoyable time. The location is conveniently located on the peninsula. The hosts are very communicative and helpful! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful view at the Beach House

The beautiful views at the Beach House were simply breathtaking! We walked the beach every morning and enjoyed a bonfire in the evenings. They provide plenty of wood, which is something most rentals don’t offer. The beach house was very clean when we arrived. Perfect size for 2 people! We didn’t use the loft bed since it’s a tight area to get in and out of. The 9am check out would be my only compliant. Typically places we’ve stayed at in the area have 10 or 11am check out times.

Amazing find!

This was such an amazing little getaway! The pictures don’t do the screened in porch justice. We basically lived out there the whole stay. We loved it and would definitely come back!
