Lille Cottage is nestled among the woods on the edge of Fish Creek and Ephraim. It is conveniently situated across from Peninsula State Park hiking trails, off-road bike trails, and cross-country ski trails; 1/4 mile to the State Park Golf Course. Lille Cottage was remodeled and updated (May 2017) to reflect the "retro" theme of this 1950's built "lille" (tiny) cottage; Bathroom renovated in (Mar. 2023). Savor the quiet sounds of the woods and the crackling of firewood burning over the open outdoor fire-pit ~ roast s'mores each evening to end the perfect day in Door County!

Lille Cottage is absolutely charming & quaint. Perfect for our long girls weekend while attending a wedding in nearby Egg Harbor. The location is great! The host also provided an assortment of local coffee which was much appreciated as well as delicious. The back porch is lovely for an afternoon glass of wine.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. My daughter and I fell in love with decor. It is located in a central space making navigation of the penninsula super easy. The back yard was a great place to start and end our days. I highly recommend this absolutely lovely cabin to anyone heading to the Door Penninsula.

This was a great property, clean and convenient to everything Door County has to offer. I will return! Especially close to Peninsula State Park golf course and it’s between Fish Creek’s town center and Ephraim. Note: I brought my dog and had to put him in the car to drive him to where I could walk him on sidewalks as the property is on a fast traffic road with no real shoulder to speak of. The twin beds room is much smaller than than the main bedroom (which is quite large) at the back of the house, which is fine for kids but other guests should be aware of that. The cottage is nicely decorated and had everything I needed.

The vrbo was extreamly clean and commuication with owner was fast and friendly.Very cute cottage and easy to access anywhere we needed to go. Will definately rent this place again.

This cabin is adorable! The retro vibe really makes it special. You can tell that items in the house were thoughtfully curated and carefully chosen. It’s absolutely perfect for a couples getaway or a small family vacation. The fact that well-behaved dogs are allowed is a bonus.

Brad and Amy are the best hosts. The cottage was all we could have ask for, very cute and very clean. Great location. We hope to plan another stay next fall. Five Stars!

Fantastic relaxing stay
Everything in the cottage was clean, thoughtful, cute and exactly as advertised. Plenty of nice touches like games and comfortable blankets. Hosts were very responsive and helpful

Brad was great to work with. The location fit our needs perfectly. It ihas a great back yard with fire pit. It is pet friendly and pet convenient. We love the retro decor.

The Russell family, of Iowa, purchased this second property in May 2017 and have begun extensive renovations. Brad and Amy Russell are native Wisconsinites, who have adopted 12 children; and thus want Lille Cottage to remain 'child-friendly' and enjoyed by families... (Your pets are welcome, too :). We will continue to rent the cottage, extending it to year-round rental. They have made several renovations to the home (new kitchen w/retro appliances, bathroom, Mst. bedroom). The name "Lille Cottage", which means "tiny cottage" to reflect the cozy cottage feel. We welcome you to 'Lille Cottage!!!
Note: The Russell's also have another vacation rental cottage (circa 1853), "Arbor Cottage Loft" (vrbo 307617), which is located in the center of the Village of Ephraim and has 100' of private waterfront w/white Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the views. It faces west for incredible sunset views over Eagle Harbor!

We enjoy renovating and bringing life back into older properties... So when this "quirky" cottage became available, we snagged it! We are currently renovating the kitchen, bathroom, and landscaping the backyard for more outdoor enjoyment (opening June 2017, hopefully :) ... Playing off it's 1950 construction, we are designing a "retro" theme of new, but vintage looking appliances (turquoise refrig from Big Chill), and retro wallpapers - complete with a "tacky", but so cute, flamingo bathroom! It's fresh, colorful, and fun!
We also renovated "Arbor Cottage" in Ephraim....and have so enjoyed meeting new friends/guests ... Looking forward to seeing you this summer at Lille Cottage!
