The perfect home away from home for me and my dog. Quiet, private, peaceful, clean and well equipped kitchen, fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Overall impression was great ! Really liked the privacy and ease of access to the property. Would definitely stay again but next time I’ll setup fishing guide or etc. for off shore fishing. Had a great time either way.

I have stayed at a number of Vrbo cabins both in WI and IL and I have to say Eagleview has been my favorite. It is the most charming, relaxing place and you can tell that the hosts put a lot of thought and care into making the cabin as comfortable and cozy as possible. Everything you could need has been thought of: well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of firewood, and ample seating with many cozy nooks to pick from while you enjoy the gorgeous view. The cabin and hot tub were very clean, there was great communication from the hosts, it was easy to find and access, and the screened in dining and hot tub areas were such a great bonus since they provided a lovely place to hang out when it was raining.Definitely recommend booking this cabin!

What a beautiful cabin and area. The hosts were amazing yo work with. Made us feel very comfortable. The view was so beautiful! Even saw a barge or two across the river.

Great stay

This is such a beautifully decorated property inside and out. We had an great relaxing weekend with everything we could need.

Wonderful place to relax

The property is very nice, and the hot tub overlooking the river was a glorious way for us to relax and enjoy our short vacation.

Great anniversary getaway

Very quiet area with a great view. The screened-in areas are a very nice touch, especially the hot tub. This place definitely exceeded our expectations.

30th Anniversary getaway

It was a cozy and comforting place for us to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The hot tub was amazing and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend this spot. The weather wasn’t ideal, but still a nice weekend getaway.

Private Cottage

Isolated and romantic. The hot tub had a beautiful sunset view with eagles flying nearby.

Perfect getaway

Loved this property! Perfect for a girls weekend and has everything you could ever need! The views and outdoor property is perfect! Loved the yard, fire pit, and hot tub! Will definitely stay again in the future. Hosts were very great with communication and helpful with house book of recommendations for the area.

Amazing Views

The views alone are worth every penny. Great sunset views over the Mississippi both from inside and out. The cabin and outdoor space were plenty spacious for 4 of us and our two dogs. Amazing hiking just down the road, along with fish fry. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice getaway

Great location, easy to find. Very comfy beds. Great view. Good communication with owners. Loved the screened-in covered area, able to be outside even when raining. Also great bird-watching area during migration especially.

Very kicked back, nice private property. Owners did amazing job upgrading this property. Quality inside and out. Small town with some great people. We will definitely make a return visit.

This was a fantastic place. The decor in the home was totally retro (think 70s timeframe) and oddly familiar and comfortable...I guess that means I am getting older. (smile). The hosts were very responsive to pre-occupancy inquiries, we did not need to reach out to them during our stay but I am sure that they would have been equally as responsive. This house had ample parking for a vehicle pulling a boat, so for our little car there was plenty of room. We went to the Swing in for Friday Night Fish (great) and then on Sunday went to Fins Up for a great breakfast sandwich. Throughout the weekend we used the hot tub several times and thoroughly enjoyed the fact it was screened in. Being on top of the hill it was also VERY private. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside would be that the AC unit in the living area seemed to be a little undersized, but the ceiling fans made up for that and we were very comfortable. This was a fantastic location to stay and perfect for our weekend getaway. We look forward to coming back in the future! Thanks for sharing your space with us!

With all the windows facing the southwest we recommend closing blinds to help reduce the extra heat on sunny days but we understand that the view is lovely and why block it out! lol The mini-split system is fairly new and coded properly. We really appreciate your business and feedback!

Great getaway

This is a comfortable and cute cabin. Very clean and kept up well. Hot tub was great! Used the outdoor grill as well. Kitchen has everything you need. Great view and close to stores and restaurants.Definately plan on coming back!

Surpassed Expectation!

The Eagle Nest was extremely comfortable, clean and charming. We loved the amazing views, especially while relaxing in the hot tub. We saw a bald eagle fly past as we had early morning coffee around the fire pit. The kitchen had every supply needed to barbecue. We highly recommend!
