Close to town but far enough out where it’s peaceful and quiet at night. House was big enough for 4 families.

Quiet neighborhood. Loved the porch! House was perfect for our five adults and three children. There was enough seating in the kitchen area that we could all eat together. Living area also had great seating and room to play games in the evenings. If we get the chance to vacation in Red River again, we will definitely book this again.

Great Home, Plenty of Room

We had a great time at this home. Traveling with 3 kids and grandparents. It was perfect for our group. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure.

Large Family Ski Trip

Our large family enjoyed our stay in Red River at this property. The accommodations provided plenty of sleeping options and the large kitchen was perfect for preparing and serving meals. We were there during a winter storm and the roads and driveway were kept plowed a couple of times a day. Definitely would stay there again.

Great House

We have enjoyed visiting Red River for years. This was our first stay in this home. It was well equipped and a great layout for our large group. The views are beautiful. We would recommend this home and host.

Weekend getaway

Wow! Very nice place and area to stay. The house over exceeded our expectations and the views are amazing! It had everything we needed, Super clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet area. Host are super friendly and fast to respond. Will definitely be booking here again.

Great mountain retreat

Fantastic property, well equipped, beautiful setting. Easy drive to the slopes. My grandchildren were able to see their first elk herd. Owner was gracious and responsive.

Perfect Stay!

Cabin is roomy, comfortable, and extremely clean. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked and perfect for cooking and hosting. Just a very short drive from Red River, great location. We loved hanging out and watching the Super Bowl on the giant HD TV in front of the nice fireplace. Cindy is a fantastic host, always responded to every need or question we had. One of our best VRBO experiences. I would definitely stay again!

Awesome location

The home is just as listed. Great for families with kids. The yard and area was big enough for the kids to play in the snow without having to go into town. The drive to town is very short. The town of Red a river is a perfect little ski town. Definitely going to return.

Annual summer family trip

We were very satisfied with our stay. The backyard was beautiful. It was great for the 4 and 6 year old. It kept them corralled in one area. We had plenty of parking for two trailers with our side by sides. Cindy was great to work with and helped us with some minor housekeeping items after arrival. We plan on booking for next year.

Gorgeous Mountain Home

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Red River mountain home. Nestled in the upper canyon just minutes from the town of Red River, it was peaceful, calm and relaxing. We spent most of our time enjoying the porch rocking chairs, gazing at the mountains. Inside the home was just as nice with tasteful mountain decor and every necessary amenity. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was a special touch. We can't say enough nice things about this home! We will be back!!!

Our retreat review

The house has a great kitchen if you like to cook (pots, pans, utensils, crockpot, blender, toaster). It’s in a quiet neighborhood. We loved everything except the beds- none of us slept very well because they were extremely firm and we prefer softer beds. This might not matter to some people but wanted to mention it.

Family Ski Trip

The cabin was great and perfect for our family vacation. We had three families and stayed comfortably in the cabin. It was well appointed with everything you might need. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher and the host was very responsive and helped us resolve the issue quickly. True to the listing, 4WD is definitely required during the winter months. Offsite trash removal requires a drive to town (4 miles), which is mildly inconvenient. We had full vehicles and had to plan accordingly for trash removal at the end of our stay. Overall, we had a great experience!
