Short stay at Dotterer

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd time here. Love the 2 levels of panoramic ocean views! Sunrise over the ocean and sunset across the canal. Plenty of space and privacy with all those bedrooms and baths.

Great property on the beach with a shared dock on the marsh. Plenty of room for 8 men on a golf trip. Excellent location with easy access to restaurants and great south Strand golf courses. The neighborhood is fantastic with lots of people walking, running and biking. I would recommend this house to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Actually spent Thanksgiving here 30+ years ago, watched videos of that time when we were there in August with fam members 30 years older. House was everything you needed and more. Kept up well for an older property, wouldn't know it from staying there.Views are wonderful, cooked most nites and kitchen equipped well.

Excellent location. Old vintage beach cottage with nice porches. Wasn’t crowded due to the season/time of year. Great for walking & biking. Did not fish but looked promising. Great restaurants within 10 minute drive. Wonderful golf courses nearby

The Willcox Dotterer house was a lovely location for our trip. The location was fabulous with the ocean only steps away and the creek/salt marsh on the other side of the house. With the area being a single row of house toward the southern tip of the island, the beach was not crowded. Check in/out was extremely easy and the host was very responsive to needs. It was our first trip to Pawleys Island and we all loved it.

PLENTY OF SPACE TO ROAM...INSIDE AND OUT!

This was a great getaway for the family. Beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the extra space to spread out for differing activities. Very quiet and plenty of outside fun with the beach and fishing creek/dock. Some enjoyed collecting seashell and watching the waves, while others enjoyed a kayak ride. Get groceries before you arrive and there is really no need to ever leave! Thanks for sharing your fabulous home!

Ideal for family gathering

Reviewer Comments: This is an ideal beach house for a family gathering. The beachfront views--through enormous picture windows on two different floors--are exceptional, there is lots of communal space to hang out (without being on top of each other), the beds are comfortable, and each of the 5 bedrooms adjoins a bathroom (only one of which is shared amongst 2 bedrooms). We had 10 adults and could have slept a few more, comfortably. Highly recommend.

The creek in front and the beautiful ocean in the back, the Willcox Dotterer house was perfect for our family vacation. While the bedroom furniture is a bit shabby, the linens were good and the beds comfortable.

The house was large enough to fit 5 couples comfortably. It was clean and well equipped. Having both beachfront and creekfront allowed us to just relax, enjoy the magnificent setting and be together.

Plenty of room . 1st and 2nd story rooms with floor to ceiling windows facing ocean were great.. we cooked instead of going out kitchen is well equipped. One improvement could be to replace toilets they r old and r almost floor level.
