Beachfront 2BR+BUNK Decorated! Shores of Panama

Sara, thank you again for choosing our condo for your trip to PCB! Yes, Spring Break is crowded there. Try coming back any time between mid-August and mid-November. The air and water is warm, and no crowds. Very peaceful and relaxing. My favorite time to go! Also, Dec, Jan, Feb has many great warm and sunny weather days to enjoy. My friends and I went in mid-January and were able to walk along the water's edge on the beach. So nice! I hope to have you try it again during less crowded weeks! Thanks again!

I contacted Nan on 7/27/21 about this review. I noticed she never mentioned the actual condo itself, which deserves a 5-star review because it is newly remodeled, extremely clean and comfortable, and decorated beautifully. She agreed to go back and consider these facts saying, "I will redo my review..". However, she has not changed it as of 8/10/21. :-( This guest came the summer after the pandemic when there was no travel. This summer has had an increase of 28%, meaning it is busier than ever. Not to mention it was mid-July. It is expected to be very crowded already, especially this year. The elevators in large resorts during peak season are always a challenge. Yes, the parking garage is also very busy. Our listing information on Vrbo, the rental agreement, and the informational email we send all mention there are only "starter supplies". This is customary for vacation rental properties. However, we do have dispensers in the showers full of shampoo, conditioner and body wash to last the entire trip. We leave a 7oz. container of dawn, 2 rolls of tp per bathroom, and extra trash bags. Sometimes, these supplies do last through depending on how many guests there are. We recommend bringing extra washing machine pods and coffee packets because we only leave 2-3 ea. Last, there are luggage carts available for free to all guests in the lobby. My cell phone is given to each guest with instructions to text me with any complaints so that I may do what I can to resolve them. I would have rather brought more supplies and the luggage cart to her, than get a 2-star review. :-( Please look at all of the other reviews! The very FIRST paragraph in the description of this property on Vrbo states, If you have an oversized vehicle, longer than 20' or taller than 6'11", it will NOT fit into the parking garage. Ten days before her arrival, Leslie was sent a very detailed email titled, "Important Information about your Upcoming Trip" that clearly stated, "*Note: If you have an oversized vehicle (longer than 20 ft), you MUST park on the 12th floor of the parking garage to avoid extending into the driving lane. If your vehicle is taller than 6’11’ it will NOT fit in the parking garage." I have a electronic time stamp showing she opened that email on the day it was sent and 3 other times: 5/31, 6/5, 6/10 and 6/12. Most importantly, a normal Ford 250 WILL fit into the garage. However, if it is modified to be larger, it may not fit. If her vehicle made it past the garage entrance that has a height bar, then she could have gone on up. Note: We have a GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD that fits fine into the garage on all levels. It is true that a guest broke an elevator during her stay, but according to resort management, at no point were 4 of the 6 elevators down at the same time. Further, the beach and resort was no more crowded than any other high season week. We continue to get 5-star reviews, even during high season. We hope that the other reviews are read to accurately depict this property and resort. Out of over 400 reviews at this resort, our average rating across all platforms is 4.9 stars.

Nancy, Thank you for your good review! :-) The resort rules are two parking spots (max) per reservation for a 2 BR+. My cleaning report shows we left 2 parking passes for you in the condo. If that wasn't the case, I apologize! I wish you had told me. I would have brought you another one right away. By the way, the new owners of this condo were able to purchase a "Reserved" spot for future rentals. That spot will be available starting August 15th. Thanks again for your review.
